[It's a relief not to be treated differently for not fitting a stereotypical look for a god for once, that's for sure.]

Do you want my honest opinion?

[Sora tilts his head,] We're here to answer prayers, yeah. Helping humans. But I also think gods are here to help shinki. A lot of people here will tell you that shinki are tools and weapons and that's it, but I really think we're here to help them grow and live. To have a second chance, you know? Shinki forget everything... I think it's up to us to take care of them too.

And if I can be honest? I am having a hard time of seeing these shinki as just tools or weapons.

[Expected that?]

If gods and shinki are supposed to work together, would they not be more partners than master and servant? But I suppose it's because I have always had a different mindset than most of my peers.

[Sora immediately smiles fondly at Aymeric, He couldn't agree more. If only all gods held the same opinion.]

Partners are exactly what we are! We're a package deal. My shinki are my friends first before anything else. We need each other and we're a team. I'm glad you feel the same way, your shinki must be so happy to be with you!

[Unless they led nations before, he should know better. Honor and duty to the people over himself. It would hold same to his shinki...it reminds him too much of a culture that was fine with turning their noses at kind on their own.]

I do hope so; I am still trying to learn who they are.

You're gonna be a great god, I can tell. Your shinki is gonna be really happy.

[He really likes Aymeric. It's so rare to find another god with the same ideals and opinions as him. Must be because they are very similar god types as well. He hopes they can be good friends.]

Have you had a chance to see your temple yet?

[Sora you are a sweet cinnamon roll. He honestly hopes he can get along with his partner but only the future will tell.]

Briefly before someone came to bring me here. It is...different than back home.

[Different because it certainly is warmer than cold stone but was it too much?]

[Sora loves hearing about other worlds. Seeing as he's a big world jumper himself.]

[Depending if they will get along. But Aymeric had to think how to describe his homeland without trying to scare the boy.]

If I had to describe it, my homeland is mostly covered in snow. There are many stone structures that are sturdy enough to withhold the harshest blizzard but despite the cold, there is a warmness within quite a few people. The city where I hail from, Ishgard, is built with the tallest spires in mind but stands as an island. Twas only recently that her doors were opened to the rest of the realm and found some kind of peace. And I would not wish to have been born anywhere else, even with all the problems she's faced.

[Sora nods and smiles through the explanation. It sounds a little bit like Christmas Town at first with the permanent snow and stone structures but his mental image changes to something a little more like something out of a fantasy book.]

That sounds really amazing. I'd love to see it sometime. It's nice to hear about worlds that are at peace, it's not very often that happens. Do a lot of people have ears like you do there?

[Genuine innocent question, hopefully that doesn't offend Aymeric.]

[Offend? Oh no, that gets a good chuckle out of Aymeric. You are the second to ask about them and it's not normal here? Oh well.]

In Ishgard, yes. It is mostly inhabited by elezen like myself and hyurs, those who look like you.

[He grins brightly when Aymeric laughs.]

Elezen, huh? You must all be super tall then. I wish I could be as tall as you! Guess I'm stuck being a short Hyur.

[He jokes! Though, he is pretty short in comparison to Aymeric. Mega short.]

You are still young; there still is a chance for you to gain a few ilms.

[I mean, he's probably Alphinaud's height so...]

[Sora laughs happily, knowing he's poking fun at himself. He'll stay optimistic for Kingdom Hearts 3 that he'll sprout up eventually, but it's looking grim.]
