[The fire has been out for a couple of hours now, but there is still some movement around the trees. The young girl is not surprised to see others still around, but she is loathe to approach them at this point.

She is standing next to one of the burnt trees, looking up at the withered limbs with a distinctly sad look on her face, touching the bark softly.

Anyone who sees her in the darkness will notice that there is a bright golden glow all around her, emanating from all over her body. In particular, the headdress she wears, with a golden disk in the center of her forehead, gives off an ethereal light.]

I'm so sorry.

[Her words are quiet and spoken directly towards the tree in front of her, but it is unclear whether she is speaking to the tree, the people still left in the grove, or the world in general.]

Keith

[She brightens immediately.]

Of course!! I'll help however I can!

[She scoops up a bucket, ready to go.]

Oh! Yeah, there's some people in there. I... I don't know if they're all helping or not though.

[She reaches up to touch her head, as if that would allow her to touch these 'shields'.]

But at his statement, she shakes her head and hefts her water bucket.]

[The girl still faces the tree as she responds to the voice beside her. She knows who it is - knows who everyone here is and who they're meant to be.]

I don't know. I hope so.

[She pauses and then turns her head to give him a sad smile.]

But not everything can be brought back. Right?

[She sucks in a deep breath before removing her hand from the tree and turning to smile at Leo.]

I'm as fine as anyone can be expected to be in a situation like this, I think!

Aymeric

[The girl turns, her hair swinging behind her in response, to look at Aymeric.]

It's you! I'm fine!

[She smiles.]

Sanzang

[This is a tone that she has never heard before and it causes a strange stiffening reaction in the girl. For a moment, she just stands there, and then she looks up at Sanzang with tears in her eyes, though she fights hard to keep them back.]

I've... I've said I'm sorry so many times! They hate me and... and they're right to! I'm so... so... out of touch with this world.

[She makes a sweeping gesture, taking in the grove, the people, the Near and Far Shores.]

What actions can I take that I haven't already? How am I supposed to know that these people exist, what's happening, and why?

[It seems like she's legitimately asking these questions, unsure of everything that's been going on.]

Sheryl

[The girl blinks and gently squeezes Sheryl's hand back.]

It's alright. You don't have to worry about me.

[Her voice is quiet, but the next moment she's responding more brightly again.]

Mm! Okay! Let's teleport out and then we can figure out the best way to help!

Sanae

[The girl stares at where the fire had been and then up at Sanae and then back to the hissing embers.]

O-oh. Um. Well, now you can just keep coming this way! They moved the party, see?

[She points to where some people have gathered to get away from the fire. That still counts as a party, right?]

Add

[The girl lets out a soft yelp as she's tugged away, and it's only now that she realizes that the flames were so close. Scrambling a little, she gets her feet properly under her and follows after Add obediently.]

I... I'm sorry, I didn't realize!

Hijikata the 2nd

[Hearing a familiar voice, she tilts her head back to look at him. And there's a distinctively sad look on her face, though she's smiling at him.]

I feel bad that this happened.

[Hopefully that's a good explanation.]

[She nods energetically, stepping up with her bucket to find a small enough fire to throw her bucket of water at.]

Ah! Got it! I'll go get the next one!

[It seems she has a few full buckets stashed away nearby, because she's back a moment later with another one, repeating the process.]

Izumo 2: Electric Boogaloo

[She looks up with a slight startle, blinking and staring at Izumo for a moment before her face softens and she looks back to the tree in front of her.]

I just feel bad about this happening. I wish I had been able to stop it from being this way.

[Oh! He has a point. Those trees are very on fire. The girl stares at them and then takes a deep breath, looking determined.]

Okay! Let's go through quickly!

[She's determined to see this guy to safety!]

[The girl smiles at Pidge brightly.]

It's fine! I want to help as much as I can. Ah! Do you think we can form a bucket line to the river.

[Impressive!! The girl pointedly continues following after Flynn. She wants to be able to help him if she needs to.]

I have another bucket up ahead!

[She's apparently placed buckets around behind some trees.]

[That was quite a thing to see. But the girl grabs another bucket from her wagon and sets it on the ground for him, almost gingerly, like she thinks he'll tip it over again if she's not careful.]
