[He's not hurt. And he's fine. But Lance definitely saw him die. This is probably the most unsettling thing he's ever seen and he's seen some pretty messed up stuff.

Either way, Lance heaves a sigh, looking marginally relieved.]

Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.

[A deep breath, then Lance puts on his best smile.]

Let's get you out of here, okay?

[candyconsumption]

[ He had no idea why this guy looks so relieved to see him, but that look in his eyes... it's a little comforting, considering he felt just thrust into this place without any sort of direction. ]

[ He nods his head to him. ]

All right. Lead me, then.

[isayvol]

[Lance doesn't need to be told twice. With a quick "follow me!", he starts leading Itachi out of the immediate area, towards someplace away from the smoke and fire.

There are a couple of points where he comes to a stop, putting an arm out to stop Itachi as well, just in time for the fire to block their path.]

Maaaan, I am so not good with fire...!

[ He halts to a stop when Lance's arm comes out at various points. Suddenly, they're in front of lavish, red flames. His red eyes glance around, looking for another path. Finding none immediately, he looks towards the flames. ]

The wall is thin. If we run, we could just go through it. [ They might get singed in the process, but better that than to be burned alive. And he's pushing Lance's arm up one one hand, ducking under. ]

Shall I hold your hand?

[isayvol]

[Wait, what, whoa! Lance holds his hands up.]

N-no, dude, it's fine. I just wish I had a way to push this back.

[He sighs, crouching down a little, stretching his legs.]

But let's do this. Run on the count of three?

[candyconsumption]

Three. [ And he took off before Lance, at a blink-and-you'll-miss-it speed, and with a flutter of hair was already passed and through the fire. No harm done--not even a single singe. ]

[ Easy, right? ]

[isayvol]

[WHAT THE HELL DUDE. Lance lets out a yell, but he's actually quick to follow, surprisingly enough. Though dang, he is not nearly as fast as Itachi, and winds up looking a little crispy around the edges.

He puffs on the other side of the flames, feeling at his face and hair.]

Aw maaaaan… I'm gonna have to do a lot of work on this…!
