[God damn it, why do things like this always happen when something is getting really good. Jae-Ha stares blankly over Hazel towards the oven. Hm. He sees the flames inside now. Woops.]

It's on fire.

[...Well, after calmly agreeing to notice that, he'll wait just a moment before shifting to nudge Hazel off of him so he can go deal with this.]

[For god's sake, pizza... Hazel gets up, shuffling a few steps back and waiting for Jae-Ha to deal with this thing that is definitely his fault.

Maybe we could have somethin' simple for lunch, like... cereal. In a bowl.

[Not that they needed to buy time, but he wanted to have an excuse and be cute and now it's ruined! He didn't cause this, Hazel didn't set a timer, but he'll go deal with this fire himself anyway.By the time he takes the ruined pizza out, it's blackened completely.]

I'm sure it would have been nice if we weren't so caught up in something nice ourselves.

[That's thirsty... Hazel comes over to peer at the completely ruined pizza, like he didn't do this.]

Maybe it was the tomatoes.

[What a brat... He was so getting into it, too. Hazel comes over, and Jae-Ha just touches his arm, leaning down to steal a demanding kiss that lasts maybe a few seconds before he stops.

He needed to hold himself over, okay.]

Why don't you make us something like cereal in a bowl, and I'll finish cleaning up this mess? Then we can relax however we'd like to once that is out of the way.

[It was so the tomatoes— but ah, he has just enough time to look at Jae-Ha before he's thoroughly kissed. That might hold Jae-Ha over, but now Hazel won't be able to think about cereal or eating lunch at all. He blinks.]
