[There's a period of silence from Flynn. How to best put it.]

A companion is... someone you spend time with.

Wouldn't that make us companions too then, mister? You're spending time with me right now?

[His attention finally drifts from Jack Frost to Flynn. He tilts his head to the side slightly. Practically everyone could be a companion then right?]

Well... yes. But we are strangers to each other.

[sonofson]

[Goten perks before giving a quick bow and then holding out his hand to Flynn]

I'm Goten! Nice to meet you, mister!

[choseneutrality]

[And now he has a name to call the small child. Flynn slowly extends out his own hand and gives small shake.]

I am called Flynn.

[sonofson]

[Goten grips his hand and bounces along with the shake]

Nice to meet you Flynn!

[he even corrects himself]

Are you new here too?

[There's a slight softening to his features at Goten's enthusiasm.]

I am not. I have been here for a while now. Are you?

[sonofson]

Mmhm! I just got here today. The food has been great and I'm suppose to meet some god-person.

[He slowly lets go of Flynn hand, smiling up at him still]
