[By this time, Schuldig had figured out that he could use his powers to pin someone in place - and it was for much the same reason as now. The person he was trying to talk to walking away from him while they're pissed and Schuldig just wants to prove that he's more powerful. So he starts much the same way he did with Sousuke Yamazaki, because it amuses him and he's got the ego for it.]

Not so fast~

[He reaches out with powers and tries to pin Gojyo in his tracks. In his mind's eye he can see Gojyo's feet stop moving, quickly working his way up to the knees and torso and shoulders... all the way out to the elbows and fingers and back to his head. Before, it's always been a contest of wills; if his telepathic control is stronger than the other person's id - their subconscious drive and most natural actions - then he gets to tell their body what to do. It's been that way since he first controlled a whole body.

And it worked with a shinki, so why shouldn't it work with with a God too? His goal is to prevent the other man from moving at all - from so much as turning his head, barely able to breathe - to give Schuldig just enough time to round on his prey and gloat in Gojyo's face for a bit.]

[ If Schuldig hadn't said anything, Gojyo would have brushed off the strange hesitance of his muscles as a remnant of the intoxication from the trees. If Schuldig hadn't said anything, he would have pretended that it didn't happen -- his legs didn't lock up for a second, his back didn't seize, he didn't feel himself starting to fall forward and unable to move. He would have blamed a thousand things and continued on his way.

But Schuldig had to claim credit, didn't he? Not so...? Gojyo wonders, a half second before his muscles freeze. There's another half second of panic when he can't move... and by the time his mobility is returned (you son of a bitch!), he knows exactly who is to blame.

He spins immediately on his heel, bringing his fist up hard and fast and aiming right for the center of Schuldig's asshole face. ]

[ Schuldig only gets a taste of the reaction effects before Gojyo's moving again, and Schuldig doesn't take it well, but he's still got his focus on Gojyo so he can feel that punch incoming. He jumps back out of immediate range and then jumps again for good measure, up into the nearest tree's strong lower branches. ]

Tch. Alright then.

[ Apparently it doesn't work on Gods as well as he'd thought. There's a small satisfaction though, because he did manage to get the other God thorough riled up, and that's always fun. That means he needs to stay on full alert though. ]
