She must be if you are speaking highly of her.

[Because it doesn't sound like a typical response for someone who is nice, mostly one would get a offhand comment about how nice they were and leave it at that.]

Aaah, that girl had the potential to be one of my biggest fans, too! What a shame.

[She lets out a dramatic sigh, complete with a small handflap to go with the chipper melodramatics. It won't do for Sheryl to stay sad for long, not in front of a stranger. Yuuki wouldn't want her to be upset, she's sure.]

"Were"? I'm always a performer, even before arriving here.

[She pauses with a slight crinkling of her nose before a thoughtful expression settles over her features. A small sigh escapes her, the tiniest bit exasperated.]
