Uh... how about I help you find yours first! Who'd you say he was again?

[And he can go find his shinki afterwards! It'll be fine. The kid'll be with his god and not wandering around in the night risking a tree falling on his head.]

Archie! I don't remember the other name he's suppose to have. But he sorta looks like a pirate! Wears lots of blue to!

[He's going to bounce on over to Tsuzuki and run around behind him. This small child has a good idea!]

[sweetdeath]

[Tsuzuki turns around, blinking curiously.]

... What're you doing back there?

[sonofson]

[Goten just grins as he floats up to hook his arms under Tsuzuki's arms.]

It'll be easier to see above, right

[ that's all the warning the sweets god gets before Goten starts to fly up with him]

[sweetdeath]

Whoa! Give a guy some warning before you do that! [Tsuzuki manages to avoid panicking and flailing -- that'd get him dropped -- but it's a close call. Instead, he peers down into the firelit darkness. It's not easy to see much down there at all.]

...Can you see?

[sonofson]

[Goten keeps a secure hold on him. Not enough to hurt Tsuzuki, but just strong enough to be sure not to drop him. That would be bad! He soars up high, way above the tree line.]

Um...not really...

[Peering over Tsuzuki really gives him no results either. He floats a bit lower, trying to get a better view. Maybe if they don't go as high? Just above the trees. At least they're covering more ground faster?]

Better?

[sweetdeath]

A little!

[Tsuzuki's craning his neck and squinting fiercely into the darkness, but the tree branches still hide too much of the grove, even singed and smoking.]

I think we're gonna have an easier time on the ground anyway, though. It's too dark.

[sonofson]

But this place is so big!

[Though, it isn't hard to see Tsuzuki's point. It's still hard to see. Goten frowns a bit but slowly drifts downward until he can place Tsuzuki down on the ground gently.]

It's gonna be hard to find your shinki or Archie...

[sweetdeath]

Yeah, but if we go flying around in the dark with all this smoke and stuff, we'll probably miss them even if we fly right overhead!

[He straightens up, dusting off his coat, and smiles down at the kid.]

That's quite a trick you have, though. Thanks.

[sonofson]

I guess so.... It'd be better if the sun was out. Where do we even start?

[He'll go along with Tsuzuki for now, what he says makes sense. But at the next few words, Goten's smile returns. He grins up at Tsuzuki!]

It's fun huh? We should fly some more sometime! I'll take you anywhere you want to go!

[What's better then flying? Flying with friends!]

You know, I was going to suggest this before you started flying, but here.

[He pulls a slip of paper closely inscribed with ink-brush writing and symbols out of his coat pocket, shielding it with the lapel of his trenchcoat.]

I'll make us a guide!

[He chants a quick invocation, and the slip of paper warps in his hand into a misty-winked white dove. It perches on his finger.]

I've just got one of these left, so -- go find Archie!

[The dove hesitates on his hand, and he holds it out to Goten.]

-- I haven't met Archie, so why don't you tell it about him? It'll be a better guide the more it knows.

[sonofson]

[Goten's eyes light up with pure delight in awe! What magic is this!? He's never seen anything like it.]

That's...so cool! Wow! Tsuzuki, you really can do magic!

[He grins at the dove, leaning from the left and then the right to try and get a good look at it. It's so small and it's just paper, but it seems alive!But--]

Only one? But what about your shinki?

[sweetdeath]

This place isn't all that big! I'll find them. Don't worry.

[He smiles reassuringly.]

[sonofson]

[Goten doesn't seem completely sure about that but he finally nods. Tsuzuki probably knows what he's doing right?]
