It's not really that simple? You have to consider, like... [Wait. Wait. Didn't he just end up in a place where people literally turn into weapons? Does the logic that he holds from life about these matters really even apply any more? Conservation of matter, converting things into other things, it's hard to imagine that they're strict laws of the universe.

He leaves his thought hanging for one, two, three short seconds, perhaps just a little too long to really call it 'hanging' rather than 'dropped', before he finishes it up with,] Why would a flower want to be a ghost?

[Keith asking the real questions here.]

Why would anyone want to be anything? I mean, you're kind of in a place where people change into weapons to help Gods with weird monsters. I suppose a flower could be a ghost or a ghost could be a flower if it wanted to!

[ Seriously, someone sober these kids up. ]

I guess. [You aren't... wrong? You make very good points? He can't argue any of this.] Ghosts and flowers would probably have a hard time fighting monsters.

[Someone call these kids a cab and send them home... please]

I think that's true for any ghost. They don't really have a corporeal form, so it's not like they can do anything physically. Maybe they help in different ways? Like with mind beams...[ Pidge is moving her hands from her head to make her point clear. With added finger wiggling and weird mind beam noises!

After a moment, she holds out her hand with a grin. So drunk and friendly. ]

Name's Pidge.

[When Pidge starts making the visuals and sound effects for the mind beams, Keith simply responds with a puzzled look. What... what is that supposed to be?

But any confusion over the silly gestures is brushed off easily in the face of a polite introduction. He'll go ahead and take that offered hand with only a small hesitance.]

Keith. Are you new here too, or...? [Since you clearly seem to know a lot about flowers and ghosts.]

Totally new. I just was walking around. Looks like we are both new. Are you a shinki or a god?

[yousaytron]

Same here, and I was just out checking the perimeter.

[Dude you literally already said both of those things, but he's definitely saying it with the self-assuredness of someone who has only just now given this information. H e l p]

Shinki. What about you?

Shinki. [ Pidge smiled a little bit wider the she normally would. ]

Have you met your God?

I did. [And, with that, he casts a glance out to the crowd of people, ass if Sasuke would immediately be in view or something. No dice, though, freaking ninjas, but it does bring something else to mind, and his expression sours a little bit before he adds,] Some other guy, too.

[What does it mean? So unclear ~cryptic~]

Oh, yeah there's a lot of other guys around here. [ Pidge is curious as to who this guy met, but she sense he wasn't going to be forthright with the information. The drunkness was wearing off now, which is partially why she's suddenly gotten...awkward. ]

Yeah, well...

[Keith is still feeling the effects of the trees pretty thoroughly, but at the same time, he can remind himself to be a little tight-lipped about certain things. Especially if he's not entirely sure what it was about himself. But, that guy, Lance...]

Some of them are pretty weird. [That's a pretty succinct way of putting it.] So you have to keep an eye out, you know?

Yeah, of course...[ Pidge rubbed her neck. She wasn't sure she was feeling, but there was an awkwardness as she kind of backed away. ]

Yeah...thanks for that. Since I'm new here and all.

[It's just good advice in general, he thinks.]

Have you met your god yet?

[Pidge doesn't particularly strike him as the type to be necessarily adept at doing something like fighting solo, though he knows looks can be deceptive. Still, it should be reassuring to know the other half of your pair, right? Just in case.]

Yeah, her name is Lightning, she's pretty cool. What about you?

That's a really cool name.]

Sasuke. He's... [Well, hm, Keith doesn't really see him in an unfavorable light, but the both of them are kind of distant types, so their interactions so far haven't been particularly insightful.] He doesn't seem bad.

Well, you can come hang out with Lightning if you want!

[What a trusting offer to extend! Keith isn't so easy to soften up in terms of social guards, but it's kind of hard to be totally suspicious of such an earnest offer.]

I'll keep it in mind. [If nothing else, it would be nice to have an option if he wants a change of faces to be around.] . . . Thanks. [Nice manners there kiddo.]

[ Pidge just kind of smiled. She liked this guy; he was kind of awkward, but she felt in some way, she could trust him. ]
