kissthegoddamncook: (Oh I can't go back)

...No. You looked like you were about to fall over and pass out.

[He doesn't take humor too well.

Or really, at all.

He sighs and moves to sit down beside him. The sakura trees were fairly empty right now, so he could sit for a moment.]

Need food?

I assure you, all I needed was a little clear air. Something about this place --

[He hesitates, frowning, and glances away. He doesn't need to complain about the bizarre sickness that's overcome him, not to a stranger. That, he's sure even through the fuzziness of his thoughts, would be revealing vulnerability. Potentially dangerous.]
kissthegoddamncook: (It's so shallow and man made)

[personal profile] kissthegoddamncook 2016-10-03 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
Don't bother. I don't need an explanation.

[He cuts off Hakkai at the pass. So long as the man isn't bumping into or harming anyone right now, he doesn't care. Just that people are safe and no one's dying.]

Eat anyways.
reformedsinner: (pull the other one)

[personal profile] reformedsinner 2016-10-03 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
I'd rather not.

[He doesn't feel nauseous, but he's dizzy, and if he eats, nausea might be the next unpleasant symptom of intoxication on the list. He offers a thin smile instead.]

Besides, it might be better if you were careful what you ate. It seems some of the things here aren't safe.

[personal profile] kissthegoddamncook 2016-10-04 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't mean from the picnic.

[Because that's stupid. No way.]

Somewhere else. You can cook?

[He's assuming. Most people should be able to.]
reformedsinner: (inner debate)

[personal profile] reformedsinner 2016-10-04 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, of course. Why?

[It's not really of course, considering that it's something not every young man can do, but Hakkai seems to be quite good at household tasks. He supposes he did his chores as a child.]
kissthegoddamncook: (And I need to learn to lighten up)

[personal profile] kissthegoddamncook 2016-10-12 06:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Then go home and cook.

[He looks at him.]

Or find someone to cook for you. But eat.
reformedsinner: (pull the other one)

[personal profile] reformedsinner 2016-10-13 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
You're very stubborn.

[Pot: meet kettle. He's genuinely not hungry, though, and he doubts that food will dull the effects of the flowers any. He hasn't had any actual alcohol to be soaked up before it reaches his bloodstream; whatever is affecting him, if it's not a spell, has simply been breathed in.

He realizes he's scowling, and hastily rearranges his face into a polite smile.]

I should go find my god, shouldn't I?
kissthegoddamncook: (I grew up by the River Lea)

[personal profile] kissthegoddamncook 2016-10-13 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
So are you.

[He's direct enough that he'll gladly say shit to someone else's face because he just doesn't care what they think.]

Go ahead. Don't fall.

[He moves to stand up himself, letting out another grumble.]
reformedsinner: (as a matter of fact!)

[personal profile] reformedsinner 2016-10-13 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
I think I'll manage.

[Hakkai is, himself, too stubborn to do anything like fall down where someone else is watching. At least so long as he's capable of remaining conscious, and this particular drunken lassitude isn't anywhere near to knocking him out. It'll be fine.

Not particularly politely, he inclines his head to Kensei, and turns to go.]
kissthegoddamncook: (Cause nothing ever is enough)

[personal profile] kissthegoddamncook 2016-10-30 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
[Kensei sighs. Whatever. He can't keep babysitting him, can he? He watches him walk off.]

Will you?

[But he's not going to keep following him. Because that's just a waste of time.]
