(Open) Well hello world
Who: Masaki and you!
Where: Near shore town, Tezcatlipoca's temple Near Shore, Calico cat cafe
When: May 9-10
What: Masaki slowly getting the ropes with cleaning up and exploring the Near Shore.
Warnings: TBA
May 9, the Near Shore:
A: Outside Tezcatlipoca's temple morning:
[Perhaps you were visiting the area; perhaps it was on the way to your own temple. Either way, there comes in sight a young woman, who has found some improvised tools to give the Near Shore Temple a good cleaning up. She wasn't dressed as a priestess-she was wearing pretty modern clothing in fact-but noticing the company, she perked right up.]
Oh, hello! Have you come for a visit?
[Her smile was bright and girlish, nevermind that she might have looked like a bit of a mess.]
I didn't realize we'd have people coming by!
[Do they even have supplies for gods and shinki visits? Like tea and cookies? Ah...she can't remember...]
B: Within the surrounding town afternoon/evening:
i: Benches
[She'd been going around, trying to get a good idea of how the area was but...yeah, she had to stop, and watch the people go by for a bit. She felt tired, and she didn't quite realize why until she saw someone go by with food. From the near drooling, she remembered.
She hadn't eaten since she arrived. Drank water, but eat? She didn't know if she could. Or had to.
But when the next person went by, her stomach gurgled. Loudly. What a mess...]
ii Music Store
This is...music?
[It mostly had movies, items related to that and music, but there were head phones too, and codes they said for downloading music. What was downloading? Why would you want to download music? She was baffled.
But they had music samples. She tentatively put on the headphones, and listened for a few moments, her expression becoming...more or less baffled.
She gave a wave of her arm, trying to catch attention.]
Hey, have you ever heard music like this before?
[She'll offer up the headphones, eyes gleaming. She's learning something today.]
C: May 10, Morning, Cat Cafe Calico:
[Since she didn't know about the whole prayer system per se, she wanted to make sure that there would be grocery money. She didn't know what Dio liked, but she was going to make sure of one thing: she wasn't going to put too much pressure on her god. So she looked for work on and off yesterday, and found...well. A cat cafe.
Which was something she had never heard of before, and found amazing. So she applied, and when they figured out she was there, she had an interview on the spot and...found herself surprisingly hired.
So this was her first day. She was in a cute dress, and wearing cat ears (because for some reason one of the other servers thought it would be a good idea if she wore them) and was going around, beaming. It hadn't taken long to get the gist of what she was supposed to be doing.]
Nya, welcome to Calico! How may I serve you today ♥?
D: Choose your own adventure!

[Sorry you've been just labelled the worst Joseph.]
But...ah! Okay.
[She sets the song to restart, if it haven't already but...oh. Oh.]
no subject
[Wait, he appreciates what's in the butt? Is that the metaphor they're going for here? A soft cough that she probably misses listening to the start of the song.]
Buns are nice, but some things are worth more.
[Again, he's awkwardly admitting these strangely heartfelt things as she's listening, so who knows if she can hear it through the music.]

Just that way he said it had her pulling off the earphones. Butts later, talk now. ]
...like what?
[There's something important about what he said. Like...a kind of confession?]
no subject
[Holding hands, sharing weird fruit under the stars, the way she turns red when she's embarrassed, those damn butterflies they kept trading back and forth for months--
...
... those are definitely things he cannot say.]
Y'know.
[He leans in, tapping his chest over his heart, his cheeks a little red from the embarrassingly honest display. In public, too.]
What's in here. It's more important.

There was all sorts of things. Things she had missed, since her memory was sealed to protect her.
...but she can feel the trickle of the butterflies, and blushing in return-a slight vulnerable expression on her face as she fiddles with her headphones.]
Y...yeah. You're right it's...it's very important.
[She didn't know how to articulate anything anymore. Why was he so...close? He's been acting so familiar with her since the day they met...but she doesn't mind it as much as she thought she would have.]
You've given it some thought, huh.
Joestar secret technique of running away
[The most he could do here was helplessly laugh, awkward and short. Sure, as a boy who was stunted in some ways growing up, he'd made a lot of emotional development in his time spent in Between.
But he was still a man who didn't articulate those emotions best, and the addition of her amnesia was the brick in the wall.]
Hey! I think I hear my shinki hollering my name, so I'll leave you to it. If you find any more fun music, you can always send it my way for a listen.
[He waggles his cell phone at her, indicating what he meant. For the record, his shinki wasn't here with him whatsoever, and definitely wasn't calling for him.]
Or if you just wanna chat about... anything. Heheh... anyway, seeya later!
/slow clap
It makes it confusing, to put it mildly. Ah. He's running away. It's kind of funny, but all she does is offers him a smile and a wave.]
Okay! I'll tell you if I find anything good~! Take care Joseph!
[And she...will try not to think of how strange their conversations feel sometimes.]
no subject
He didn't buy a single damn thing.]
