Who: Youji & Hibari
When: [TBD]
Where: The Near Shore
What: Killing animals is not cool, dude.
"This is something that interests you, right?"
Youji points out a damaged animal pen as they approach the farmhouse where the prayer originated. Claw marks and blood spatters dot the posts and chicken wire is piled up all around after being dragged away. Life calling, things that give pleasure-- closely enough related for Hedone to get involved, Youji assumed.
Hibari seemed like he'd be well enough at home in a menagerie, so Youji was going to see if giving him a goal to fulfill or something to focus on helped. At all. In any way. Maybe this guy's own care for animals would strike some sort of human connection between them?
He pushed the door open, letting Hibari walk in first.
"I wonder what animals he was raising...?" he muttered. "Prayer wasn't that specific, though they can't have been too wild, if they weren't able to fight off whatever is in these woods..."
He wasn't expecting a prayer chosen to engage Hibari would also get his inner detective worked up, but it was what it was. He wasn't planning on going after the beast; having fought psychics, he thought that should be good for a lifetime exemption from animals with teeth and/or claws.
