Warnings: Ceberus is a curious puppy with three chompers.


Hades pomegranates seem to have a will of their own and purposely jump ship whenever he isn't looking. You may have found a stray pomegranate either by the beach, near the forest, or even better had the the courage to pick them off the two trees flanking the entrance to Hades Temple. Either way, the fruit seems to be in good shape and the seeds inside are pristine and look rather delicious. Picking up the fruit won't have any negative effects, but if you decide to eat theam... well then. You're in for a treat. You get a free night in the Underworld, free of charge! Your hosts will be the Kiryuu twins and their dog. You will be compelled to enter Hades Temple and stay the night. Only then will the compulsion leave you.


i. The Trees

One of the twins is on his way out of Hades Temple when he see's someone near the pomegranate trees and immediately goes to investigate.

"What are you doing?"


ii. Cerberus

The three-headed Hound of Hell is Hades first defense against intruders and will alert him to any and all visitors. Better hope Hades or Ichiru gets to you before Cerberus decides he wants to play. Be nice, he's still a pup the twins have a soft spot for him.

iii. Dinner Time

After Zero figures out what's happened - and after an extensive lecture about eating things off the ground or stealing fruits - Zero finally settles down and gets to work making dinner while Cerberus settles down watches in the background. You may explore your room for the night one of the twins pointed out earlier, but be aware Cerberus won’t like that and will be following you all the way. Conversely, you may decided it's better to stay by Hades side who doesn't seem to understand that a 10 ft three-headed dog made from silver rose vines is not in any way a goddamn puppy! You can help him or settle down on the dining room table.


iv. Night Explorations

Having trouble sleeping? Feel free to go exploring or try your chances at an escape. Who knows maybe the curse has worn off! Either way, Cerberus is a light sleeper and he has your scent. Hades won't be far behind once he finds out his favorite puppy is gone, and Ichiru tends to wander the hallways at night, so better hope you run across one of them before the Hellhound.

Open to any shenanigans you'd like to try so feel free to put up your own starter!


[ OOC: Characters are free to make up any symptoms for the "compulsion" to stay. For example: They can get the sudden urge to visit Hades Temple, or their feet will magically take them their without their consent. Or they might just start feeling pain the longer they ignore the compulsion. How many nights they stay is up to you! Eating three seeds can mean one night or three nights, whatever you want! ]

[ The scent of burnt flesh hit his nose but drove him off his brother landing him a foot away wasn't the burning sensation that set his nerves afire but the scent of his blood--No. He turned to look at Eric. Their blood.

Blood. Blood everywhere. Ichiru's sword stoppered the flow but when he pulled it out it spilled freely pooling beneath them. Like a scene from their past, the twins lay in a pool of their own blood but this time it wasn't Ichiru's. This time, he was okay...

Zero grabbed at his shoulder plugging the source with his hand. He looked at them, taking in their injuries. Assessing. They were bleeding but nothing bad. They'd be okay. Both of them. The vice that had suddenly assaulted him when he first smelled Ichiru's blood slowly loosened its grip on him. He pushed himself back up then, swaying halfway through. Blood leaked through his fingers drawing a low growl from the Hellhound. Standing at the doorway, Ceberus snapped his teeth together. All it knew was that Hades was hurt. All it saw was red. ]

Ceberus.

[ A firm tone as he gained his balance. At the tone, the growl muffled into silence as three heads turned to him and Zero focused on calming him down. He could feel his killing intent and with everything that had just happened, he couldn't leave a potential ember ready to burn. ]

It's fine. [ He stepped toward him and the Hellhound met him halfway, nuzzling his head on his bleeding shoulder. Zero patted him down and once his killing intent began to disperse, Zero turned to the most frightened one in the room and locked eyes with him. ] It'll heal. [ He told Eric before turning to his brother. ] It'll heal.

[The sound attracted his attention, and while Izumo isn’t usually one to go investigating in anyone’s temple, he figured he can get a pass this time around.

Stepping into the corridor, his eyes landed on Cerberus and Zero.

A frown appears when he notices the blood on Zero, the way it seemed to flow. Seeing Cerberus' reaction to seeing Zero bleed wasn't an all-too surprising one.

He then switches his gaze to the other two, assessing them quietly.

Out of the three, Zero was the worst one.

Izumo breathes out, eyes sharp.]

What is going on here? [His tone is sharp, loud enough to catch their attention.]

[ With that scene, Ichiru's mood dropped tremendously. He had completely forgotten about the fight with Eric and seeing that the other was already torn over the incident, there was no point. He was a low individual, but he wasn't as low as to stab someone when they're already defeated. His head throbbed but nothing really bothered him as much as the blood that was now spurting on his clothes. At least until Zero moved way.

He turned his head towards the three headed dog, preparing himself for its assault as Zero removed himself from Ichiru's form. The dog stopped when Zero told it to. Shame, he was fine taking the blame for that since he did stab the other. It didn't quite sit right with him but it wasn't against his nature to stab third parties. Slowly, he pulled himself up, and shook the blood off from his metal weapon to put it back inside his sleeve where it rested. He still seemed most displeased with Zero's intervention but there was no getting around the matter right now. He could only take it in strides. ]

You shouldn't have interfered. I didn't ask you to protect me.

[ Which meant he wasn't going to thank Zero for it nor did he make any apologies for what he had done. Instead he stood up and shook himself He was going to say more before he turned to glance at Izumo who had entered the premise. Yet another person he didn't want to explain his actions to. He sighs. Izumo had every right to sound the way he did. The living area was a mess with broken vases, and scattered debris. Some things were on fire and Ichiru flinched when he realized the wound on his shoulder had gotten worse from the beginning after adrenaline him. He slowly put a hand on it to hide the pain. ]

Nothing of importance. It was a disagreement between two people. Zero got involved. That's all.

[ He's not saying anymore this this. ]

Zero, you should get that looked at. God or not, it will still take time to heal.

[ He breathes out. At the very least, he could say that to Zero. It showed he was still confused about the whole matter. Never had he actually thought Zero would dive into the fight to stop Eric and save him. ]

[redstray]

[ It'll heal... good. Good it will heal...right? But, after it heals, what then? It's still trouble. He didn't want to burn Zero, he hadn't wanted that fire to get so big. But it had and he needs to take responsibility.

At the new voice he whips his head and spots Izumo. He was...here too?

He squeezes his arm, trying to get the blood to stop from coming out. It was dripping from his fingers and his sweater sleeve was soaked. It hurt. ]

I just...I'm not a dog...I'm not

[ He was done. Everything was just a lot of a mess. Eric just needs to be alone, he wants to hide. He decided to just slink to the floor, his back already against the wall. He was going to get burnt any moment now, and be full well deserved it, so no point in fighting. He lost. ]

[ The blood was getting to him. The smell. The taste. ]

.........

[ He pressed his lips together when Ichiru explained. He didn't believe him of course, there was more to it, of that he was sure. But right now, that wasn't the issue. ]

You're both bleeding.

[ Cerberus draws closer to him, sensing his discomfort. He needed his blood tablets, but first, he looked at Eric. He doubted he'd react well if he tried to approach him now, especially after what happened at the beach. He hadn't meant what he said, but he knew he'd triggered him. Whatever had happened in his past, Zero had no intention of triggering another memory and then.... this. ]

Izumo. [ He looked at the other, gesturing to the younger blond already withdrawing into himself. It'd be better if he took care of him. ]

[toremainbehind]

[Izumo eyes Ichiru for a moment.

He didn't quite believe him either, but there were more pressing matters to attend to, and seeing Eric beginning to withdraw into himself was definitely one that needed attention.

When Zero calls his name, Izumo's eyes flickers to him and he can see the other gesturing to Eric.

A slight inclination of the head in agreement.]

I'll take care of Eric.

[A glance at the young blond and then back at the twins.

He still looks far from pleased.]

Go handle yourself before you decide to slip. [His words are meant for Zero.

There's a lot of blood, after all, and he's not sure how much of it Zero can actually take before his control slips.

A glance at Ichiru, assessing his injuries quietly.]

I'll come handle your injuries later if Zero doesn't first.

[With that said, Izumo makes his way over to Eric.]

[forsakens]

[ Ichiru shot Zero a look for mentioning that he and Eric were both bleeding. Of course, he knew that and he knew what it also meant to the other person that was standing in the room with permeating blood. He did look a little pale to Ichiru. Whether Izumo or Zero chose to believe him or not, he didn't care. Ichiru wasn't much better but he was good at hiding it. ]

I'm fine.

[ Ichiru stated seriously before he glances at Eric briefly. ]

...

[ As much as he wanted to say something, he didn't. There was already enough damage. Ichiru was already taking the lead in leaving the premise because the matter was not going to be discussed beyond this. ]

You are not obligated to, Izumo-san. I can take responsibility for my own wounds.

[ He pauses before speaking to Zero after Izumo's words. ]

Indeed, you should. We'd have a problem if something were to happen. My injuries are minor so I can take Zero, Izumo-san.

[ Ichiru might as well make that suggestion before something happened with Zero. He mostly knew what was going on with the other due to his own experiences in the Underworld and learning about the Pomegranate Seeds. He needed the God to remain sane for his own reasons. ]

[redstray]

[ Eric was only half listening to everyone as they rambled on about this or that. Why did they have to be so noisey?

He frowns as Izumo approaches, shuffling a bit to hide his arm and other injuries. ]

...I'm fine.

[toremainbehind]

I'll believe it more after I check the extent of the damage.

[His tone is the same as it is when he stumbled upon them.

You're free to fight him on this, but Izumo's not going to budge.]

Let me take a look.

[redstray]

[ He was shivering a bit, due to the shock of the cut finally coming through or the mild blood loss. Even still he refused to look at the other, hiding his arm. ]

Not interested.

[toremainbehind]

[Teenagers.

Izumo shrugs.]

Fine. You can bandage it yourself then, but you'll bleed out at this rate. [A pause.]

At least follow me into the kitchen.

[redstray]

[ He chewed on his thoughts for a moment before shitting his eyes, slowly getting up. His hand still firmly clasped to his bloody injury. He took a couple of steps towards Izumo, not looking at him, his eyes firmly on the ground. ]

Fine...

[toremainbehind]

This way then.

[A glance at Eric before Izumo turns to head into the direction of the kitchen.]

[redstray]

[ He follows, head down, watching Izumo's legs to bring him to the kitchen ]

[Eventually, they make it there.

The food Zero was cooking was more than likely still on the stove, and there was a brief thought as to whether or not dinner will still happen, but there are other matters.]

Sit down.

[His tone holds no room for arguments. He'll allow Eric to take care of his injury himself.

He goes to fetch the first aid kit before he hands it over to Eric.]

[redstray]

[ He sits down at the table, taking the first aid kit rather clumsily. He gets it open and stares at the contents. ]

Uhm...

[ Maybe because he was tired or dazed, or maybe he didn't know, but he had no idea where to even start with fixing his arm. He grabs a wrap that wasn't even for stopping the bleeding and tried to get it open. That works...right? ]

[ His healing is working to stop the bleeding already, the blood flow has lessened but this kind of injury will take time. He's not a Pureblood, but having taken blood from four different Purebloods Zero's healing abilities are much better than they used to be which is why the blood flow has lessened and beginning to clot. Still, he'll need some bandages but more importantly, he needs to get out of the room before his bloodlust gets the best of him. ]

There's a first aid kit in the kitchen and one in every room, under the sink.

[ Izumo can get the one in the kitchen and Ichiru one of the others. ]

[ What a unique ability. Ichiru didn't expect him to heal that fast but it was fair given that he's a God with also an interesting combination of vampire to add to it. He never really questioned above all of that but only nodded his head.

He's getting the first aid kit but it wasn't for him since he could take care of the matter later. He was still lingering on the thought of why Zero decided that it was okay to thwart the attack to himself rather than letting Ichiru taking that blow for himself. He's already making his out of the main room and down the corridor. ]

[ With Ichiru gone, Zero lets his shoulders lax letting Ceberus hold most of his weight. But, he only does this for a minute. He needs to get Ceberus out of there first. Pulling away from, Zero heads out, leading the Hellhound out the blood stained room and away from the two shinki's. When Ichiru returns, he'll find Zero in a corner of the throne room with Ceberus at his side, while the blood flow begins to clot, stopping the bleeding. ]

Eh-- You really have unnatural healing abilities.

[ He muses as he approached the large creature and its master. He keeps his distance since he's aware that the dog might be tense from the encounter earlier. He hands the first aid kit to Zero. ]

It won't hurt to disinfect it right?

[ He made no actual effort to tend to his own. The blood on his head and the burn had stop bleeding if anything. He was in minimal pain but he didn't seem to express it. ]

[ He didn't need to show it for Zero know. He always knew. ]

Come here.

[forsakens]

I said it's fine.

[ He repeats, with a bit more of sharp edge to his tone. Not that it wills top Zero but he's not really in the mood. Ichiru casually drops the first aid kit on Zero's lap before stepping away from him. ]

[ He sighs then starts to get up, wincing when he pulls his shoulder which has Ceberus pawing at him. ]

[ He's going to get pushed back down because Ichiru is really exasperated with him. One minute he was being treated coldly and the next Zero suddenly was caring about his well being. It's kind of frustrating for him to understand.

He grabs the first aid box and pops it open. ]
