Who: Everyone!

Summary: So many shrines have popped up! Go visit your homelands!

The Heavens have received reports of many shrines to the "new gods" they are harboring appearing all over the world. These shrines seem to be additional, new shrines to those gods. Older shrines to those gods still exist, but these ones are shiny, new, and way more compatible with the "new gods". God characters, as well, will have felt the sudden pull towards their homelands and be compelled to travel to them. But the Heavens have taken it a step farther, offering the Meeting Hall as a place for gods and shinki to group up and go out for the day to the various places that are now calling out to them.

Please ignore the fact that they are mostly doing this so that you all will collect information for them without their begging for it or having to reward you.

Meeting Hall

The Meeting Hall is being used as a sort of hub right now. Any groups that are planning to meet up and travel together can meet here, but you might also find someone who's going somewhere you'd like to and tag along with them. Additionally, the Heavens have provided packed lunches for everyone to take with them, should they desire to. This also serves as a meeting place for all of the new gods and shinki.

Locals

Local pantheons have been alerted to the impending visitors. They are happy to welcome their brethren home and are likely to make a big fuss about their brothers and sisters staying with them. Local gods are welcome to be interpreted however you would like, just be sure not to NPC any god that is already taken by a god player. Also, you may find yourself running into some local spirits during your sight-seeing - including local ayakashi and various folklore spirits.

Flyers

They may not stick out at first, but those who are paying attention will notice that there are a large number of flyers being left around at their new shrines. Heck, even walking through the human towns, you will find flyers scattered on the ground and pinned to cork boards and nailed to telephone poles. All bear the same message: "Down with the Heavens. Down with Amaterasu." The locals gods are well versed in the flyers, saying that there have been some strange characters around throwing these flyers at anyone who will give them the time of day. Even humans will note that some shady-looking people have been putting up these strange posters.

Who will discover Amaterasu will be decided randomly on 3/20/17 OOC. At that point, a follow-up post will be made by Amaterasu herself.

I'd say you should look at this as a sort of adventure. Who knows; you may be able to use your experience here to write your own story one day.

[Johan may not have been here long, but that protective flare over his friends hasn't faded the least bit. Fubuki isn't his shinki, but it doesn't matter.

He'll definitely do what he can to help the shinki.]

Ah, it's—different. There's still a lot to take in.

No need to worry then, we seem to have an idea already so all we can do for the moment is wait.

[And there is already bait out with the fish and net in the water. So all Aymeric does is grab a decent sized rock and slips it into the pouch, grabbing a pair of kid sized gloves and handing them to Goten.]

Here, you may need these. I also grabbed some holy water just in case we need it. Now let's find a spot to surprise our enemy.

[The beach does have enough rocks for cover so finding a hiding place won't be hard.]

[What is this girl doing here--]

Don't know. But they do, and have done, for a very long time.

[This actually isn't too different from what Kairi and Goten did before. Minus the gloves of course, which he takes. Yep! Not going to blight himself or Aymeric again! Moving off the docks, Goten goes ahead and slips the gloves over his hands just to be on the safe side. He grins up at the god.]

You're way more prepared then I thought. That's why you went inside the temple, huh?

[Where ever Aymeric goes to take cover, Goten follows along to join him. Luckily he's pretty small anyway. But that won't stop him from peeking out curiously]

How long do you think it's gonna take?

[He's not her shinki, so that's not her problem! The shinki god connection can be pretty creepy when you think about it and Sharak is rather relieved no one has walked up to her to ask for a name today. She is not in the mood for that crap.]

Sharak Sanzo. Welcome to the Far Shore, Shizuo.

I don't think Aditi would take credit for any of the gods outside of the Hindu pantheon, but there's definitely overlap in terms of representation. How lucky we all get along so well, hm?

[No one fighting over who makes sure the sun rises every day. She's going to ignore that comment about her loins.]

But... there's got to be a reason.

[She sounds like a child, doesn't she? A child, worrying at an idea she is too young to truly understand. There's a part of her that doesn't want to know why her world fell apart, is even glad she doesn't--

[And yet.

[Aya cannot make herself believe it is a blessing. Someone - someone, she doesn't even know who she should be looking to! - had... they had wanted her parents, wanted all of them gone. Nobody did a thing like that if they didn't - if they weren't going to get something out of it. But what, oh what could there have ever been that would have explaned why her mother, her family, had to die?

[She shouldn't be here.]

Someone's got to know.

[Kaya goes through a moment of confusion, staring at their hands and then Yona's face and then their hands again. She wasn't expecting such an effusive reaction. She likes this. This girl is truly lovely, and so warm. Rude, her? Kaya had been rude, spying at them like she had a reason. A part of her feels terrible for it, and for wanting to dislike Yona for getting hugged by Zeno, for Zeno probably being more fond of Yona than her. Why wouldn't he? Even she suddenly wanted to be her friend, just by this contact, by this happiness.

She was horrible. Jealousy was horrible.]

N-no, I was the rude one, I'm sorry. I should've come before to say hi but I didn't want to interrupt you guys. He looked... Sorry.

But there's nothing to ensure that someone is us, or connected to us. Gods are far-flung and mysterious, judging by the way people were able to venture forth this time.

[He looks at her oddly, wondering if they're talking about the same thing.]

I'm guessing they want to overthrow Amaterasu. Have her power for themselves.

Eh?

[ Yata had been wandering by when this guy called out and he glances over his shoulder at him, arching an eyebrow at the question. ]

I'm not a god. [ Thank all the heavens for that. Still, he fixes the other shinki with a speculative look, eyes narrowing. ] Did you lose them? Who is it?

[ Fortunately, it doesn't take too long for the spell to dissipate enough to allow him to move again. The chill still follows him, bone deep in its rampage through his body, but he knows he can't spend too much time whining about it at the moment, not when there are people who could be trapped inside the fire.

He starts to ready another flask in his grip before blinking over at the guy next to him, looking startled. ]

Pissed at the gods?

[ It's the first he's hearing of it, though he hasn't been around long enough to know much about the inner-workings of this world. Whatever he's learned so far has been scant and useless. ]

Don't tell me they blame us for everything wrong with them...

[ Maybe he should have paid attention to the lecture about answering prayers when he arrived here, instead of brushing it off. Okay, so he's been a little lax on his 'god' duties... ]

You too, Princess. I am very glad to see you unharmed.

[And, selfish as it may be, that you are here-- Oh.

[So we are doing this now.

[Not the intention in breaking the hug, certainly, but Kija can hardly own it... unpleasant. At least (shut UP, Jaeha) at least it is proof that the Princess is really, truly here. If she needs the - the reassurance, maybe, too... well, then it is all right. More than that, really. Welcome.]

The others? I - unless they came back when you did, then I do not think they can be here now. Jae-ha and Shin-ah were, for a time, but they - returned.

[No, Kija, stop looking at her hand.]

I am not quite sure how returning works.

[Is that really how Gods work? Aya would have... well, okay, so she's heard the stories; she knows that the Gods, too, have their struggles and their dreams. She just thought... well, she thought they would be better. More - more honest. Noble. They wouldn't just... just burn down someone's home!

[Amaterasu, of all people. Gods. Wasn't she at least supposed to be above it all?]

I suppose they're a lot like us, after all.

That's right, well done.

[What a wonderful student of Buddhist gods. She's proud. She'll just keep guiding them towards the buffet set up over here.]

But I'm not talking to him right now.

[Being a god holds a lot to it but it's a lot less than what most people might think.

Plus who doesn't love teleportation?]

If that happens I guess you better hope you're a god of lava or fire. Because if not, you'll be toast!

[Sora laughs and then shakes his head.]

Kidding, I'm kidding. I can teach you a little, wanna try to teleport from here to that fancy pillar down the the hall there?

You think so, Lord Odin? Well, it sure is a collection of eventful realms if I think about it. But to be quite frank, this land of a thousand gods seems just as curious to me. Don't label it as dull so quickly.

[ Not her circus, and luckily not her monkey? Really, she should save a prayer for whomever has to deal with the guy. Not that anyone knows that mess yet. ]

Yeah, thanks. Uh, you prefer Sharak or Sanzo?

[ Is it a thing where she prefers them both together like that? Everything else about the war hero stuff aside, she's got enough of a look where it could be a whole thing that he's not in touch with.

To be fair, he's not in touch with a lot. ]

Yes but no. I believe the past is in the past and we must move forward, but reading what happened between the lines and under every punctuation mark can be of importance for the future.

Wait, if you may. What happens if a pony wishes for soft rain to cuddle up indoors with a nice book and hot beverage, but the neighbor needs a sunny day for their activities? Do they have turns? Do they duel? Does a third party decide?

[At that response he smiles too.]

That's really nice of you, Cardia!

And yes, I'll be checking out Baldr's temple a little while later. I keep hearing from others that there's a huge crowd waiting for me or something... ?

[As Baldr is known in their mythology as the loved by all god...]
