After receiving the request from Orihime, Lavi’s decided that there are some people he believed would be able to help him make this task just a little easier. So, it isn’t hard at all for him to send them a simple text:

Hope you guys aren’t busy, but I’m hoping you’d guys be able to help me out with researching for acid-proof materials.

[Lavi puts down the book, smiling at Izuku.]

Thanks for helping me out, by the way.

Yeah, no problem. If I can help, I like to.

[He'll take a seat nearby and rub the back of his head.]

I have a classmate that uses acid, but she's not here.

[lostinshadows]

[He looks interested.]

Really? Was there anything special she had to use when she uses acid?

[fullcowl]

She had... special boots, I think? And an outfit that was made specifically for fighting. So it's all acid resistant.

[lostinshadows]

[...Don't mind if he takes notes, okay.]

Guess it's safe to say you don't know how they made it that way.

[fullcowl]

The support department would know more about it than I do.

I think it's some sort of spandex blend?

[lostinshadows]

[Lavi cups his chin in thought.

Spandex, huh?]

Shame that the department isn't here then.

[A frown as he glances at his own notes.]

[fullcowl]

I know.

[It's a very solid department that deal with a whole lot of quirks and adjust for them.]

But I can at least tell you what I've seen of her hero outfit. I know her boots have rubber soles. They've some sort of chemical resistant coating, since there are holes for her to use her acid, but those never melted.

There are some gloves on the Near Shore that are fairly similar. [He'll pull up acid proof gloves on his phone and show them.]

[Lavi blinks.]

The rubber might help if they have specific coating on them. [Tilts his head.

But he looks at the gloves.]

It'd be easier to find out just what kind of materials they've used for those gloves, though.

Right. There are probably specialty shops on the Near Shore that sell them... I haven't done a lot of clothing analysis before. Do you know anybody?

[He'll scroll through before finding something in Japan.]

There's a shop not too far from Shibuya.

None, I'm afraid. I'd ask Lady Orihime, but I'm already grateful enough she's helping me out once I gather enough research for this.

[Even so, he thinks it might be good to check it out.]

Maybe we should go check it out.

[fullcowl]

I think Forrest knows about clothes...?

[He'll stand up.]

Ready to go now?

Forrest?

[That's...the name of the god that hosted that huge sleepover, isn't it?

But Izumo nods.]

Ready.

[fullcowl]

Yeah, he's one with the sleepover. I was busy that night, so I couldn't go.

[He'll go ahead and teleport them down to the store.]

[lostinshadows]

[Lavi makes a soft sound.]

You didn't miss out much.

[Worst. Night. Ever.

But Lavi still can't get used to teleporting, so he just holds back a faint grimace when they appear in front of the store.]

Really? It sounded like fun.

[He'll look over at Lavi...]

Are you okay, man?

The sleepover part where everyone was awake was fun.

[He nods.]

Yeah. Just not used to teleporting is all.

[fullcowl]

Did something weird happen when people fell asleep?

[He hovers for a moment, but nods. If Lavi says he's fine, he'll believe it.

He'll go ahead and slip into the store.

Lots of gloves and aprons that are specifically made to be acid resistant.]

Apparently, people's been able to enter other people's dreams.

[Lavi shortly follows him.

He eyes the gloves and aprons, looking interest as he tries to figure out what materials they're made of.]

[He immediately pales at the thought of that.]

Oh no, that would've been so embarrassing.

It'll probably be easier if we buy some of them.

[lostinshadows]

I think the right word would be 'traumatizing'.

[A side eye look before he nods.]

Yeah. At least Lady Orihime would be able to get a better idea if she sees these.

[fullcowl]

That depends on the dream...

[Oh god that means everybody would've seen Izuku's dreams. His really embarrassing on a date with Shouto dreams.

... At least he didn't go.]

Let's pick a few of them up.

...You wouldn't have been dreaming of your new boyfriend, would you?

[Definitely teasing.

But Lavi does grab a few of the gloves, looking at the aprons.]

Should I grab some aprons, too?

Wh-What!? N-no of course not!!

[Of course he would.]

Wh-while we're here we might as well.

Deku, you're turning red.

[There's a big grin on Lavi's face even as he goes to get the aprons, too.]
