It's just a courtesy call
Who: Izuku, Lavi, Yoon, Scully, and You
When: July 6th
Where: The Far Shore
What: Lavi’s taken on a personalized mission. It’s time to research some acid-proof materials.
After receiving the request from Orihime, Lavi’s decided that there are some people he believed would be able to help him make this task just a little easier. So, it isn’t hard at all for him to send them a simple text:
Hope you guys aren’t busy, but I’m hoping you’d guys be able to help me out with researching for acid-proof materials.

That's. New.]
I was curious if you know anything — myths or just scientific facts — on how I can make something acid-proof?
no subject
[After letting him read the message she then opens the browser on her phone to check Yohoo!]
no subject
[Lavi waits patiently, studying her.
Mute? Or something else?]
no subject
I'm not sure about mythology or mystical options, though there probably are some. Rubber is probably your best bet.
no subject
[Lavj smiles.]
That does seem like it'd be a handy material.
no subject
You might not want to wear it out in public though.
no subject
Well, that's one start. How about anything on magical clothing?
no subject
Sorry. All I'm getting us "myths on proper acid handling". Not actual mythology.
no subject
Thanks for helping me out, though. [He holds out a hand towards her.] I'm Lavi, by the way.
no subject
I'm
ah
New here
[Her inputs and the displaying of her phone are staggered, flashing them bit by bit. Somehow she's managed to make stumbling over her words text viable.]
no subject
Welcome, Celty. Sorry for surprising you with requests on things like this while you're probably still adjusting.
no subject
No. It's fine. It's nice to have something more mundane like that to be asked about.
[Even if he did ask for supernatural options too, but if you have the powers and forces at work it's smart to include them.]
no subject
[How often is it that someone asks her for acid-proof materials?]
no subject
I did find them though.
no subject
Well, it's good that you found them. I know that some people have either been losing gods or shinki as of late.
no subject
[She tenses up a bit, typing a bit faster.]
Did something happen to them? Was it the Ayakashi?
no subject
If it was ayakashi, then temples wouldn't be disappearing along with the gods. They simply disappear.
no subject
it can't be
not here
not now
Her fingers fly rapid over the keypad and she holds out the phone with a shaky hand.]
ALIEN ABDUCTIONS! IT'S THE START OF AN INVASION! IT HAS TO BE!
no subject
Immediately, he shakes his head.]
Calm down, calm down. I don't think it's alien abductions - that might just offend the actual aliens we have here.
no subject
[wait]
What aliens? There are aliens here? Are they shinki too?
no subject
[A blink.]
I've just met one and he's a god.
no subject
Really? How? Aren't gods supposed to be connected to their world somehow?
How do you know he isn't an invader?
[This is rude, but her concerns are legitimate as far as she's concerned. Aliens are dangerous. The internet agrees.]
