After receiving the request from Orihime, Lavi’s decided that there are some people he believed would be able to help him make this task just a little easier. So, it isn’t hard at all for him to send them a simple text:

Hope you guys aren’t busy, but I’m hoping you’d guys be able to help me out with researching for acid-proof materials.

Oh, um. Well I'd look it up on the internet first, but aren't certain kinds of plastic resistant to acid? Gold too I think? Maybe

I'm trying to avoid materials like that. Something that can be made into clothes, maybe?

[It IS possible to weave those materials into thread, but then the gaps between the threads would be an issue. Not to mention the prohibitive costs.]

I'm not sure about mythology or mystical options, though there probably are some. Rubber is probably your best bet.

No. It's fine. It's nice to have something more mundane like that to be asked about.

It was something I could look up online. Not like 'what is an ayakashi?' or 'how do I find my god?'

Well, it's good that you found them. I know that some people have either been losing gods or shinki as of late.

If it was ayakashi, then temples wouldn't be disappearing along with the gods. They simply disappear.

Calm down, calm down. I don't think it's alien abductions - that might just offend the actual aliens we have here.
