You're like 90% of my self-control
Who: Hibari and You
When: July 13th, after Hakkai's disappearence
Where: The Far Shore
What: An almost mingle-post for anyone involved in Hibari's quest for destruction.
Warnings: Violence and Hibari. Fires.
It was only a few hours after Hakkai had disappeared, and the rage hadn't abated. The heavens were always having the last laugh, after all. Hibari at this point did not care about the consequences to himself any longer; the only thing came to his mind was vengeance and destruction. And he was very good at both.
For the proceeding hours until he ended up at Izumo's bar, a shadowy figure would be seen running around the Far Shore, setting large fires in his wake to burn any vegetation that happened to get in the way. If the smoke and flames didn't catch anyone's notice, then perhaps the sudden destruction of some temples would.
OOC: This is the place to go if you want to thread with Hibari during his violent quest, or just thread out the effects of his rampage in general. Anyone is allowed to tag in and around to offer their assistance.
~A~ Temple Run
Several temples volunteered in here are getting some new renovations to their place. They might need help cleaning up some of the rubble or healing, and maybe some of the owners aren't exactly happy their place is being destroyed.
~B~ Fire
There's fire all over the place; even if it isn't close to your temple, it wouldn't be too hard to see the smoke. Thankfully, it's only trailing in Hibari's path, but some effort needs to be put in to stop it from spreading and endangering more areas.
~C~ Direct Conflict
Some people have noticed Hibari before he got to his final destination; and the teenager isn't exactly happy about that. This option is reserved to those who have directly stated they want to fight or attempt to stop him physically.
ooc note: the final events of his rampage will be taking place at Izumo's bar, on his open thread.
~D~ Something Else?

Honestly, given that the people he knows includes Hibari, he probably should have.
He's bristling with indignant, self-righteous fury as he charges up to Hibari, already in Wolf Channel; it's perhaps his most versatile combat channel next to Lion, but better for speed. And Hibari's hostile intent is blatant enough that Ken wants to be ready for an instant fight.] Hey! What the hell are you doing, byon?!

All the fire and destruction and... what? He spots the kid leading the path of it. The kid that roughed him up a bit when he first arrived here.
Everything in the back of Shuusei's mind screams he's dangerous. He'll hurt people, even if that wasn't already apparent. This is the sort of person that should not be allowed to let loose like this. Sure, shinki have sort of a raw deal and bad things keep happening but no one should get away with this nonsense.
If Shuusei took a moment to think about his motivations, he'd realize though this wasn't justice that compelled him. There's a rush that comes from the thought of confronting someone like this. He recognizes pain and anger even without voicing it or knowing the cause of this all.
Shinki are light so Shuusei leaps, aiming to land in Hibari's path. He's not sure the final destination but he knows Izumo's bar and it'd be a shame for Hibari to wreck it. He stands his ground a bit ahead of Hibari and turns with a gun in hand.]
How about we stop this now and you just turn yourself over to the gods you just pissed off?
[There's no real conviction in those words. Shuusei's not sure if he knows Hibari won't take him up on the offer or if he hopes Hibari won't.]

damage control ota
[Given Shun's habits of keeping an eye on the state of the Far Shore as much as he can, it's kind of difficult to miss the trail of destruction carved through the place today. Unfortunately, he can't see the source of it, and rather than try to follow, he manages to restrain himself to consider that it's probably a better idea to make sure nobody's in serious danger from what's happened first. This definitely isn't the first time he's handled destruction on this scale, and he highly doubts it's going to be the last.
So anyone whose temple has been hit by the rampage, or anyone helping out with it already, stands a chance of getting approached by Shun, his manner as brusque as ever given the situation.]
Was anyone hurt, or is it just temple damage? [The remark is quick and sharp, with the intent of prompting a response in kind - Shun prefers not to waste time when it comes to things like this.]
--
[B: Fires]
[In-between checking on the damage at temples, Shun keeps coming across fires of various sizes he doesn't have much of a choice but to stop and put out before they spread. Some of them are easy, merely small grassy patches that might need a few stomps or, at worst, him decaying the surrounding grass and bringing it in to remove the fire's fuel. Others are harder, and since Shun doesn't have a godly power that specifically helps any with stopping fires, he has to get creative.
The kind of creative he ends up on in the end is definitely something to watch, if anyone comes up on one of the larger fires that's consuming a tree. Every few moments, he appears briefly in the air over the fire, throws a payload of water across it mid-drop, then vanishes again before he gets anywhere near the ground or the fire. It's very much an incremental method, but it's working, though if he notices anyone nearby, his next teleport isn't back to his water source of choice, but to an adjacent (and, more importantly, not on fire) tree so he can glare down at the person in question.]
If you're going to waste time standing there, you might as well help.

[Zeno stuffs a bun into his mouth and hopes Kaya doesn't see this. But maybe he should approach the child before he hurts himself?
He stands up and dusts his clothes off, and walks over toward his temple.]

Running towards a fire is a damn stupid thing to do, but the last time he smelled smoke this thick somebody had set Amaterasu's temple on fire. Someone might need help. Someone might be trapped! Someone...
...might be setting that whole big clump of bushes on fire for no goddamn reason. At least, none that Gojyo can see. ]
Hey!
[ Throwing caution to the wind (what else is new?) Gojyo storms down the hillside toward the firebug. ]
Stop! What the hell do you think you're doing!?

Where are you... [It's said more to herself than anything else, because she's not that kind of shouty person, and...let's be real, she has no idea what's going on and she doesn't want to draw attention to herself and waste time, especially with all these fires.]
[None of the fires are close to Surtr Temple, so she doesn't care.] I swear, if you're in a damn fire... [Last time she was looking after a shinki in a fire? Didn't end too good.]
Z for Ze End Of Ze Road
So it's not out of the goodness of his heart that he eventually gets interested in seeing all of this damage for himself. Oh no, it's purely out of curiosity. He approaches Izumo's bar when he notices that's where Hibari's anger has led him and just kind of chuckles at the bit of irony there.
He walks in the front door and just stares right into Hibari's face, smiling. ]

What had set the other off? Tsuna didn't really know the Hibari who was accustomed to this world. If had people or things he held dear. Though he knew there were things that the prefect was very prideful of back in his world. The school was one. His disciplinary committee armband was another. Animals were quite fond of him for some reason. Maybe something like that has caused Hibari to go into such a rageful fit.
Tsuna always knew the other was fearsome, but he never knew he would do so much damage on his own. He had to stop him, or at least prevent him from causing even more havoc, if that was possible. Not long, Tsuna is able to catch up to prefect. Immediately, he swooped down, trying to prevent Hibari from getting any farther in his rampage.]
Hibari-san! You need to stop this!
[If he won't listen to reason, Tsuna was already obstructing his path by flying around him fast enough that a wall of fire surrounded the out of control shinki.]
