A. I’m falling between the cracks

[After the event that affected the Heavens, Lavi has decided to take it upon himself to distance himself from a few people.

So, people would be able to find Lavi at a park, huddled under a tree. He doesn’t seem to be paying attention to anything in particular, but his usual headband is missing and there’s a silver bird clip currently attached to the collar of his shirt. His eye seems to be focused on a book laid out on his lap, lips moving as he reads what’s on the page.

However, the moment he senses someone coming up to him, the book is slammed shut and he eyes the person almost warily.]

B. The Library Goblins

[Thanks to the pulse or whatever it was, one of the first things Lavi’s done after returning to normal is to inspect the library.

Or rather, inspect the area around it.

He frowns a bit, cupping his chin in thought before he turns to the nearest person.]

Have you seen the goblins? [This is. A very important question since Lavi’s become aware of the goblins the moment they had decided to steal the books back.]

[He smiles slightly, leaning against the tree.]

But really, I'm glad that you two are enjoying yourselves with each other. Must be nice to be in love.

[In love...? Yeah. He's in love. It's hard to admit that out loud to Shouto himself though.]

It is. It's... it's pretty amazing. Sometimes I still can't believe he said yes.

[His expression softens.]

You guys definitely have the kind of love people would grow envious of.

[Lavi's not sure if he's jealous of it, but he's genuinely happy for his friend.

He leans forward a bit.]

Maybe you ought to to do something for him, too.

I don't know if I'd go that far...

[But he's completely in love with Shouto.]

Yeah... I just wish I knew what. I know his favorite food and I make that pretty often, so it's not like that's special.

I'd give you ideas, but I'm not very good at the romance department.

[A shrug.]

Movie night? Or maybe even spend a whole day in Greece and spend an evening there?

... We do movie night pretty often. But a day in Greece sounds pretty good.

Then just take a day off from whatever duties you have and take him out for a date in Greece.

Knowing our luck we'll end up running into an ayakashi.

Well, nothing to do about that, but at least enjoy yourselves.

[A blink of surprise, perhaps even a little start, too.]

[If you're going to tease him so much, he's allowed to push back.]

[A hint of a teasing smile as he leans a little closer to Izuku, but not close where he's actually invading personal space.

There's a glint.]

What would you do if I said I liked you? [He doesn't, though, but it'd be fun to see Izuku's reaction to that.]

[He can't help it: he laughs.

Lavi shakes his head, leaning away.]

[He laughs right back.]

Well, glad we got that settled.
