A. Cnoc Áine - After Shizuo’s Ablution

[After performing the ablution on Shizuo with Chikusa and Goten, Izumo has decided to stick around Yona’s temple to keep an eye on the two. Normally he wouldn’t be around the temple so much, only ever coming and go briefly to visit Shizuo or Yona. He usually sticks to the room that ended up being his, but he’s actually out and about in the temple now.

If he looks a little tired, just pretend that he isn’t instead.

However, anyone around the temple might spot him in the halls or somewhere outside. Come and talk to him? Drink with him?]

B. Double Cross Bar - Memories On A Wall

[The moment he’s learned that Sora and Roxas are gone, Izumo felt a bit—not sad, per se, but something close to it. While he wouldn’t exactly call himself sentimental, he’s decided that putting up a photo wall can be at least one way of keeping memories alive.

So, after a day or two, he puts up a post on the BBS:]

If anyone has any photos of Sora and Roxas, mind if I have a copy? I’m working on a project right now, so I thought it’d be good to start with those two first.

[Anyone who does come to the bar will find Izumo leaning against the counter, focused on a blank wall to the side. He seems thoughtful, though he does glance over at anyone who comes in.]

C. When Will Dreams End? [Closed to Totsuka]

[He sent a text to Totsuka earlier that morning upon awakening. It’s not like how he reacted when he first remembered Anna, but now some things the man has said the few times they’ve met makes sense.

Choosing his bar instead of Mikoto’s temple or Totsuka’s temple was a good place to talk. With it still closed, it gives them the proper privacy they need.

Really, Izumo didn’t enjoy waking up suddenly remembering people from his past life, but it’s even worse now because this time, he’s aware of one fact about the god: he’s dead.

By the time Totsuka comes to the bar, Izumo already has a drink in front of him.]

D. Fade to Black

[It’s August.

It’s summer and it’s haunting season.

So, it’s not surprising that Izumo is being haunted by some ghosts that decides to play with him. Which is why he’s looking fairly unimpressed at a floating lighter, the sounds of childish giggles heard around him.]

[Izumo smiles a bit, giving her a head pat.]

Well then, how about we keep your mind off of it?

[ She laughs softly at the pat to her head, glancing up at him curiously, her smile fond. ]

Did you have something in mind?

[His smile widens.]

I was thinking we can enjoy a day in Tokyo. I'm not sure if you've paid it a proper visit, especially with how different everything is.

Tokyo?

[ She blinks with surprised interest, head cocked slightly to the side. Although she's been to the Near Shore a few times, it's mostly been to smaller places with Shizuo, and that one trip she'd made to Ireland. ]

I don't believe I have. Should I have? Is it important?

Tokyo is the capital of Japan and one of the bustling cities in the world. There are plenty of things to do there.

[Guess it's time to broaden her horizons a bit.]

Would you like to go check it out?

Oh! [ A smile brightens her face, anticipation for what he has to offer lightening her mood considerably. ] I would! Although... [ She pauses again, glancing back towards the door with a small frown. ] ...do you think that's alright?

[ Guess who hasn't really left the Temple at all in the days since the Ablution? While she's done her best not to hover, she still has not ventured far from any of her shinki. Especially Shizuo. ]

[He gives a nod.

Izumo has been staying around long enough to notice the way Yona hasn't ventured out due to her worry. But Izumo can send Shizuo a text at least that he took Yona out to clear her mind from worries for at least a day.]

I'm sure it'll be okay, Yona.

[ She debates for a moment before giving another nod, coming to a decision and offering him a sheepish smile once more. ]

You're probably right. It would be nice to get some fresh air. Very well, Izumo. Shall we go?

We shall.

[He holds out his hand to her.]

[ She gets to her feet and takes it, smiling up at him. ]

Would you like me to teleport us somewhere to start? Although I'm not very familiar with many places on the Near Shore yet.

[He looks thoughtful, taking out his phone and quickly finds a picture of Tokyo Tower.

Then, he'll show it to her.] Think you can teleport us there?

[darkestbefore]

[ She takes the phone and marvels at the building it shows for a moment as she studies it. ]

I just have to think of the building itself, yes? Even if I'm not familiar with the area? Will it still work that way?

It should, yes.

[He grins a bit.]

We won't know until we try.

[darkestbefore]

[ That gets a laugh from her. ]

Let's hope your trust in me isn't misplaced. Very well, I shall do my best.

[ Giving his hand a squeeze, she stares a the picture a moment longer before focusing and reaching for that strange ability she'd learned to manipulate in order to teleport from place to place.

If she was honest, it was still strange and disorienting and she wasn't sure that she'd ever get used to it.

But sure enough, a moment later, they reappear at the base of Tokyo Tower and when Yona opens her eyes, she yelps in surprise and tips her head back, her gaze going up. And up. And up. ]

It's so tall! How did they ever build such a marvel?! It looks as if it reaches to the very heavens itself!

[When they reappear at the base of Tokyo Tower, Izumo can't help but smile upon seeing her reaction to it.

He laughs a bit.]

Remind me next time to suggest Paris. They have a similar tower, but no less impressive.

[Izumo gestures to the tower.]

What is it for?

[ She's still peering up at it, one hand lifted to shield her gaze from the sun. ]

Does the ruler of this city live up there?

It's used as a communications and observation tower.

[He peers up at it.]

It's very iconic here in Tokyo.

Well, I'm sure you can observe a great deal from up there.

[ It was certainly tall enough. ]

You can climb it?

We can. There's a contraption known as an elevator here that we can use to ascend to the top.

An elevator?

[ There are so many strange inventions in this world and she follows Izumo in fascination, head turning so she can take in everything they pass. ]

That's right.

[He takes her inside. There's a lot of people milling about, which honestly isn't surprising.

However, he leads her to the elevator and presses the button going up.]

[ The doors slide open and reveal a small square room. Following Izumo inside, she glances around in confusion. ]

This is an... elevator? What does it do?

[ And then the doors slide close and the entire room gives a slight jolt and her mouth drops open as she instinctively grabs for the handles along the wall with a surprised look. ]

Oh!

It takes you up or down generally, depending on which floor you need to go.

[Izumo presses a button going up before he looks over at Yona.]

You okay?

[darkestbefore]

Ah.. yes?

[ Was that a question or an answer? Even she's not sure as she glances around the elevator, still gripping the handle. ]

The room... it moves?

It does. Just grip onto the handle if it makes you uneasy.

[Especially since the elevator begins to move upwards.]
