Because I realize you're just a dream
Who: Hitsugaya and YOU
When: August 31 - September 5
What: Catchall, basically. (Adult Hitsugaya, fire-related things, and headaches)
Where: Far Shore and Near Shore.
Warnings: None at the moment
[A. Bankai Training a.k.a Introduction of Adult Hitsugaya]
[It’s not an unfamiliar sight to see someone training, especially anyone who bothers coming to the forest near Kuraokami’s temple. What is an unfamiliar sight, however, would be what would appear to be an older version of Hitsugaya.
He’s in the sky, training with his sword. Bits of ice and snow appear with his movements, causing him to frown a bit as he reins in his reiatsu enough to ensure he doesn’t end up freezing the moisture in the air. Swinging his sword to the side, an ice dragon flows out from the tip and circles overhead before it disperses in the air.
He watches it disappear, sighing and rubbing the back of his neck before he decides to land.]
[B. Investigations]
i. Yamada Department Store
[After hearing about the department fire, Toushirou doesn’t really waste too much time checking it out.
The remains of the building stood out to him as he approaches it. There’s some faint look of wonder on his face, wondering just how bad the fire could have gotten this bad. It makes him frown, peering up at it before he slips inside the burnt department store.
People are free to join or prevent him from doing so.]
ii. Lava
[He would have initially missed the lava - the hot weather was already beginning to take a toll on him - but it was the smell of sulfur that managed to catch his attention.
So, Toushirou is looking in the direction of where he could practically feel the sudden increase in the temperature, expression somewhat annoyed. He breathes out, a hand coming up to cover his face.]
Now there’s lava?
[C. Headache-Induced]
[Now here’s an odd sight.
Anyone who knows Toushirou would be surprised to see him either sleeping under a shaded tree or leaning against it, eyebrows scrunched up together as if in pain. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong, but at the same time, he pinches the bridge of his nose as if warding off a headache.
A teal eye soon glances over when someone approaches, but then soon closes.]
What? [His tone is wary, a bit on edge.]
[D. Wildcard]

[It's a vague enough answer but he does recognize Chikusa enough.
Even so, he does go inside all the same, nose wrinkling at the smell of sulfur in the building.]
Were you in here the last time when they began showing problems?
no subject
[At least, the ones that actually do anything, Heaven. Chikusa nudges a burnt piece of debris.]
So you weren't...
no subject
[A glance at him before he makes his way to the basement floor.]
Another person and I found an altar.
no subject
[It's not a surprise to him, necessarily. Anyone would realize that the basement is the most suspicious place, even without a bloodhound at their side.]
no subject
[Unless you avoided the basement, anyway.]
no subject
[And Chikusa knows he's not wrong about that, either.]
They already made the altar unrecognizable.... I wonder why go to such extreme lengths...
no subject
[Not necessarily a cult, but close enough.]
no subject
[This is the kind of planning Heaven would do, seriously.]
no subject
[It's getting quite annoying honestly.]
no subject
So.... That alone is something to keep in mind.
no subject
[With everything being burned, it'd be a tad bit more difficult to actually check if the altar itself would still be standing.]
no subject
[So, you know.]
Apparently, a lot of people used it before we found it.
no subject
[Since the altar doesn't exactly seem modern. Too cult-like to expect otherwise.]
no subject
[And only partially because he's been doing research on the side.]
no subject
[Not a question, a confirmation really.]
no subject
[But yeah he's been doing some things on the side.]
no subject
[If only there's something they can find in the destroyed altar room, though.]
no subject
[A nudge of his glasses.]
So someone should have...
no subject
[Good for you, Chikusa.
But as they venture more into the burned building, it's evident they may not finding anything of worth.]
no subject
[Fucking Heaven, really.]
[Walking has been enough, however, and Chikusa finally sinks down onto the most sturdy piece of debris that's around.]
....The fire really destroyed this place... Which I guess was probably the intent.
no subject
I wonder if they wanted to burn anything else down aside from the altar to hide anything.
[But it's no surprise they won't find anything here at all.]
no subject
[In, you know, vents and stuff. He blinks slowly at the other.]
...But any information would be difficult to gather...
no subject
Then we may as well consider it a dead end in the meantime. [Until they can find out more...somehow.]
no subject
[Chikusa will wait to see what else might come up in his research... and what Hakkai will want to do.]
[For the time being, instead, he takes a seat on a piece of rubble and just leans back. Getting back to the temple will be a long tiring affair. He'll wait here for a while to catch his energy.]
