Because I realize you're just a dream
Who: Hitsugaya and YOU
When: August 31 - September 5
What: Catchall, basically. (Adult Hitsugaya, fire-related things, and headaches)
Where: Far Shore and Near Shore.
Warnings: None at the moment
[A. Bankai Training a.k.a Introduction of Adult Hitsugaya]
[It’s not an unfamiliar sight to see someone training, especially anyone who bothers coming to the forest near Kuraokami’s temple. What is an unfamiliar sight, however, would be what would appear to be an older version of Hitsugaya.
He’s in the sky, training with his sword. Bits of ice and snow appear with his movements, causing him to frown a bit as he reins in his reiatsu enough to ensure he doesn’t end up freezing the moisture in the air. Swinging his sword to the side, an ice dragon flows out from the tip and circles overhead before it disperses in the air.
He watches it disappear, sighing and rubbing the back of his neck before he decides to land.]
[B. Investigations]
i. Yamada Department Store
[After hearing about the department fire, Toushirou doesn’t really waste too much time checking it out.
The remains of the building stood out to him as he approaches it. There’s some faint look of wonder on his face, wondering just how bad the fire could have gotten this bad. It makes him frown, peering up at it before he slips inside the burnt department store.
People are free to join or prevent him from doing so.]
ii. Lava
[He would have initially missed the lava - the hot weather was already beginning to take a toll on him - but it was the smell of sulfur that managed to catch his attention.
So, Toushirou is looking in the direction of where he could practically feel the sudden increase in the temperature, expression somewhat annoyed. He breathes out, a hand coming up to cover his face.]
Now there’s lava?
[C. Headache-Induced]
[Now here’s an odd sight.
Anyone who knows Toushirou would be surprised to see him either sleeping under a shaded tree or leaning against it, eyebrows scrunched up together as if in pain. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong, but at the same time, he pinches the bridge of his nose as if warding off a headache.
A teal eye soon glances over when someone approaches, but then soon closes.]
What? [His tone is wary, a bit on edge.]
[D. Wildcard]

Finding Hitsugaya leaning against a tree trying to sleep isn't what he expected at all. He walks closer, leaning over the god curiously.]
Are you ok?
no subject
[Or a long one. Doesn't matter.
He pushes himself up to sit better.]
Sorry, Goten, but I think I might have to cancel training for today.
no subject
Okay...
[That's disappointing but if Hitsugaya isn't feeling well it's understandable. Goten moves closer, reaching out to touch the god's forehead. Trying to see if it's hotter then usual.]
no subject
[He doesn't stop him, though, if it'll help appease Goten. If it helps, he's at a temperature a normal person should be now.]

Yet, while everything seemed close enough to how it was just before, things felt different. A change in presence, and despite it being his temple, she was having trouble really picking up Hitsu's energy, and not in the same way he'd try to suppress it either. This wasn't masked, but faint compared to usual. So when she does finally track him down, it's about another second or so before the younger reaper even says anything. ]
You really don't look so well, Hitsu-kun.
no subject
[Ignoring the fact that he was healing her.
He eyes her a bit.]
Seems like you've finally woken up. How do you feel?
no subject
[ Yet she went straight out to check on why Hitsugaya's energy was in such... a small presence. With 'few days' and 'finally,' Botan can't help but wonder- ]
Just how long have I been asleep?
[ Since the 18th, so really longer than she had any right to be asleep. ]

Since he's landing anyway, Shun doesn't bother exercising his recently-figured-out godly flying powers to go and investigate, but he does head over while eying Hitsugaya off with a somewhat wary look.]
We're not having some kind of space-time screw-up again, are we? [He does not want a repeat of turning into a kid.]
no subject
[He's sure Goten's mentioned this to him before.
He quirks an eyebrow.]
Figuring you're only asking since I'm in this form right now.
no subject
You're saying that like it's normal for someone to suddenly grow up. [Especially when he last saw Hitsugaya about yesterday during the prayer fair, where he was considerably not an adult, as usual. Or not visibly one, at least. Shun has his doubts about Hitsugaya actually being a kid considering his skill and how he behaves.]

So when he sees a handsome man who he's yet to run into before, he's intrigued. White hair? He may be biased, but that's incredibly attractive.
When the man lands on the ground, he slinks up towards him.]
That was quite... intriguing.
no subject
He's pretty sure he's not that unrecognizable, even if he and Niles only talked once.
So:]
Did you need something?

[And get shirtless.
And kill a man.]

He skids into the clearing just as his god descends to land. Except then he gets a good look at him and freezes (luckily not literally), blinking at him in confusion.
.....Did his god have an older brother? ]
Ahh... hello?
I laughed at this ngl
At the same time, he does glance over at him, looking somewhat amused.]
It's me, Alibaba. [No, he does not have an older brother. So, here's your god in adult form.]

[Oh, look who it is. Chikusa is hanging around as well, wearing not only a thick and pointed beanie but a small surgical mask as well. You never know what sort of nonsense is in the air in places like this, after all...]
[And this kind of place is one he'd wanted to check out after his search through the library. It's not wielded as much results as he'd like, so...]
no subject
[It's a vague enough answer but he does recognize Chikusa enough.
Even so, he does go inside all the same, nose wrinkling at the smell of sulfur in the building.]
Were you in here the last time when they began showing problems?
no subject
[At least, the ones that actually do anything, Heaven. Chikusa nudges a burnt piece of debris.]

You're big again!
i was waiting for this to happen actually
[For once. It'll just be for this one time, though.
He does give the cloud a look but then he looks at the shinki.]
i try not to overload you. its hard ok. i resisted for a good while
[Goten perks at that. Hitsu took his advice? He can't help but grin with excitement as he bounces on Nimbus a bit]
Does it feel any different? I know going blond makes me feel all tingly but not as much now that im getting use to it. What's it like to be big?
i thank you for it because i definitely need to pace myself with tags

... I mean, I figure there are volcano gods around here, it must just happen sometimes, but it's still kind of worrying.
[Even with his own goddess having volcanoes in her domain! He should probably get over it: but erupting volcanoes are a little scary.]
The lava's not going to get all the way over here, though, don't worry.
no subject
[He's probably seen the volcanoes before but he also looks so tired.]
I think I'm just tired of there being so much heat.
no subject
[He shoots Hitsugaya a sympathetic smile, shrugging, and puts his hands in his pockets for something to do other than fidget nervously.
Maybe he should be getting some gauze masks for himself and the rest of the temple. Yamanbagiri's got that weird blanket he wears all the time if he needs to screen out any of the ash that's leaving a faint sulfur flavor in the air, but Tsuzuki and Sakura don't, and it can't be good to breathe it in.]
It's been a warm summer. It ought to be cooling down soon, though.
