[A. Bankai Training a.k.a Introduction of Adult Hitsugaya]

[It’s not an unfamiliar sight to see someone training, especially anyone who bothers coming to the forest near Kuraokami’s temple. What is an unfamiliar sight, however, would be what would appear to be an older version of Hitsugaya.

He’s in the sky, training with his sword. Bits of ice and snow appear with his movements, causing him to frown a bit as he reins in his reiatsu enough to ensure he doesn’t end up freezing the moisture in the air. Swinging his sword to the side, an ice dragon flows out from the tip and circles overhead before it disperses in the air.

He watches it disappear, sighing and rubbing the back of his neck before he decides to land.]

[B. Investigations]

i. Yamada Department Store
[After hearing about the department fire, Toushirou doesn’t really waste too much time checking it out.

The remains of the building stood out to him as he approaches it. There’s some faint look of wonder on his face, wondering just how bad the fire could have gotten this bad. It makes him frown, peering up at it before he slips inside the burnt department store.

People are free to join or prevent him from doing so.]

ii. Lava

[He would have initially missed the lava - the hot weather was already beginning to take a toll on him - but it was the smell of sulfur that managed to catch his attention.

So, Toushirou is looking in the direction of where he could practically feel the sudden increase in the temperature, expression somewhat annoyed. He breathes out, a hand coming up to cover his face.]

Now there’s lava?

[C. Headache-Induced]

[Now here’s an odd sight.

Anyone who knows Toushirou would be surprised to see him either sleeping under a shaded tree or leaning against it, eyebrows scrunched up together as if in pain. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong, but at the same time, he pinches the bridge of his nose as if warding off a headache.

A teal eye soon glances over when someone approaches, but then soon closes.]

What? [His tone is wary, a bit on edge.]

[Goten perks up at that.]

We can train together if you want, unless you were trying to train alone.

[Not sure how much good that actually does but hey!]

[Toushirou cocks his head to eye the shinki.]

That's fine with me. Will you turn blond for this session then?

[sonofson]

[Hopping off Nimbus, he reaches back to pat the cloud. It bops a bit before taking off and zooming high into the sky. Goten smiles, waving after the yellow cloud before turning back to Hitsugaya. He laughs a little. Is he really asking that?]

Yep! I don't stand a chance against you without turning blond! You're too fast. Even normal super short you is really fast! I think you'd knock me out in one hit if I didn't and you're like that. I don't wanna be an ice statue either.

[freezetheheavens]

I'm not going to turn you into an ice statue. [Maybe. Depending on how fast Goten could be.]

I only ever knocked you out in one hit one time. You learned from then.

[Aside from the fact it's still a question of which one of them are actually faster than the other.]

[sonofson]

[Don't remind him!]

That wasn't fair, I wasn't ready and I didn't think you could get behind me so fast!

[Goten pouts at him, stomping his foot--but his smile returns just as fast.]

I did learn that you're super sneaky!

[freezetheheavens]

I did warn you that I wasn't going to go easy on you.

[That includes upping his speed.

He smirks.]

You have to be sneaky in a fight sometimes.

[sonofson]

Yeah I guess you did. I rather you not go easy on me 'cause then neither of us get better.

[He stretches his arms over his head before leaning to one side to stretch his right leg. Then doing the other leg. Goten knows better then to go straight into a fight. There was something Izumo said about stretching before training?]

Does that mean you're not strong enough to beat me without being sneaky? [Grinnnnn]

[freezetheheavens]

[His smirk widens.]

Do you really want to try and find out?

[Come on, Goten. Has it gone well for you so far to charge in straight without expecting some surprises by now?]

[sonofson]

That's up to you. Here I come!

[If his grin could go any bigger it would! He clenches his fists as his ki surges up. There's a quick flash of light as his hair spikes up and shifts to blond before he dashes right for Hitsugaya at full speed. His transformations are fast and practically effortless now. ]

[freezetheheavens]

[Almost immediately, his sword swings up, walls of ice rising up at the silent command. However, he doesn't linger for too long since he'll appear behind the shinki and he holds out his hand, the area around Goten quickly turning into ice far faster than Goten would usually see it.]

[sonofson]

[It's not physical attack so Goten can't just appear behind Hitsugaya as easily by using his senses. Instead, he focuses his energy into his hand and blasts at the ground, shooting himself up into the sky quickly. It rockets him up as he looks at Hitsugaya, almost looking surprised to see that he moved behind him already. Goten just wanted to get over the walls and out of the area.

Whew!

He wastes no time charging up and tossing a quick but small volley of blasts down at Hitsugaya. It's brief only because when it comes to the god, that attack never seems to actually hit. But he feels saver floating in the sky, trying to stay alert and see where Hitsu will appear next.]

[freezetheheavens]

[His hand shoots out in the direction of the volley, freezing them before it can manage to hit him.

A hint of a smirk is on his face as he swings his sword again, the familiar ice dragon suddenly appearing much larger than usual and aiming at Goten with quick speed. Large wings of ice sprouts from its back this time, seemingly growing larger as it begins to absorb water from the atmosphere.]

[sonofson]

[For as many times as he has seen the ice dragon, it never stops being amazing to him. But he doesn't have much time to admire it as it flies straight for him. Goten flips around, flying at the dragon. Just as they're about to meet, he hops over the open mouth and onto it's head before attempting surf/slide down it's back and back down towards Hitsugaya. The glowing ki radiating around his body protects him from the chill of the dragon--unless Hitsugaya can make it freeze him. Goten isn't going to ride it long enough to find out.

As he slides, his hands cup together at his side as he mutters the fimilar attack. Blue glowing ki swells between his palms as he charages the kamehameha.]

--HAAA!

[Pushing his hands forward, the powerful beam blasts for Hitsugaya.]

[freezetheheavens]

[He shakes his head at Goten's antics, watching him ride the dragon. Honestly, he could make it freeze him if he wishes, but opts not to. He'd rather not tell Aymeric he's frozen him, after all.

But the familiar attack is heading towards him and Toushirou immediately vanishes before it can hit him.

Below, a pillar of ice suddenly raises below from Goten at a frightening speed.]

[sonofson]

[Did he hit him? He couldn't see? Probably not. Hitsugaya is hard to hit. He blinks slowly, noticing the pillar of ice too late as he shoots up under him. He flails, practically riding the thing up with a surprise yell]

[freezetheheavens]

[As Goten rides up the pillar, Toushirou appears in front of him and swings his sword, multiple ice daggers aiming at the shinki.]

[Goten blinks at him, stiffening as he swings his sword. Luckily, his reflexes are quick as he jumps up and punches through the multiple ice daggers. There are a few that get by as he moves, scrapping by his cheek and slicing through the sides of his clothing.

Goten keeps on though, flying at Hitsugaya despite the already small distance between them and breaking into a flurry of punches and kicks, trying to not give the god any chances to back off or attack. If he can just keep him on the defensive, maybe he can find a way in.

[freezetheheavens]

[It's not increasingly difficult now to block Goten's attacks. After training for so long, Toushirou has eventually come to see through the shinki's attacks, avoiding the punches and kicks. He flashes backwards and several walls of ice appears between them.]

[sonofson]

[While Goten is getting stronger and faster each time they fight, he still fights the same. He doesn't know how Hitsugaya is always one step ahead of him but it is a little frustrating which makes him try even harder. Each time, Goten has given it his best but Hitsugaya always has something more to pull out.]

Oh no you don't!

[Powering up with that golden aura flaring around him, Goten focuses his ki into his hands again and shoots it forward. He tries to blast through the several walls of ice before moving to fly through them--after Hitsugaya.]

[freezetheheavens]

[As Goten shoots his ki forward, Toushirou is already expecting that. His sword is already pointed at the wall in front of him, releasing just a bit of his reiatsu enough to freeze it, turning it into nothing more than a pillar of ice. He can sense Goten beginning to try to come after him, so he controls the ice walls to slowly move apart, the ice pillar melding into them, and form a circle around the shinki.]

[sonofson]

[It's seeing the ice shift and change that makes Goten hesitant a bit. He isn't sure what Hitsugaya is trying to do---just how thick is his ice?! Even his blast fizzes out after breaking and burning through several layers. He can't tell the difference between the walls of ice and the pillar forming around him. It's all ice! Hitsugaya is doing something but he can't tell what.

Clenching his fists, he starts trying to punch his way through instead. He's going to get to the other side and then punch Hitsugaya in the face, or that's the plan anyway]
