[ The points of Grell's teeth press into her bottom lip, as she taps 'Send'.

Yes, she's feeling a tad anxious; she'd made a grievous mistake last night, and hasn't any idea how to make up for it. It isn't often that she regrets her actions - far more rare, is for her to bother addressing it at all.

This is William, however. More specifically, this concerns how she'd just thrown away the opportunity to taste success after a century-long pursuit of his affections. At the time, it made perfect sense to her, but now...

Now, she stands outside the entrance to his temple, waiting. Intruding would not do her any favors, at the moment, and she wouldn't care to bother with his shinki, either. Not while she has so much on her mind, and must command herself to focus. ]

I believe it was intended to make us feel sympathetic towards them. Yet, it seemed to be their own fault that they even got into such a situation.

[ Originally with the thought of ice cream in his head, the over abundance of snacks during the film seems to have pushed that idea from his mind. Instead, he glances down to the parcel Grell still had in hand. It was still early, but perhaps they should discuss this end to their day together before the time arrives. ]

Did you wish to spend tonight at my temple or your own?

[ Grell could've gone on gushing about the film, but this subject change is precisely the thing to distract her from anything about it. In fact, it simply tilts her further into a better mood, the color staying on her cheeks as her shoulders sway girlishly. ]

Oh, well...

[ On one hand, her temple is stocked with proper makeup remover and skincare - but, even better, William's got his temple entirely to himself, since Hannah's disappearance. ]

I wouldn't mind seeing your bedroom~♥

It isn't nearly as lavish as yours. However, I would prefer not to have to sleep in a robe again.

[ Not that he couldn't simply stop by his own temple for some sleep over supplies if they settled on Grell's instead. But he'd also been enjoying his own place far more without that demon slinking around. Perhaps that helped a bit in all this. ]

Darling, we could sleep in a hut, for all I care.

[ Grell so declares with a bat of her lashes! Which might be saying something, considering how particular she can be. ]

You've prepared me for the situation, so I think it to be a fair decision.

[ With a raise of that very bag, she indicates that she means the night wear purchase. Actually, she'd assumed that William was inviting her to his place all along. It's possible that the other reaper was formally inviting her as a matter of politeness, but she can't help but consider the possibility that he just wanted to see her in something cute...! ]

Fine then. However, we can stop at your temple first if you need to collect anything important.

[ He knows all too well how much care and effort Grell puts into her appearance. He can't imagine she wouldn't want all her beauty products with her to make herself look perfect for the evening. Even if William doesn't feel it's necessary. ]

Ah~? You really wouldn't mind?

[ The redhead sways to affectionately bump a shoulder against his! In truth, she wouldn't have expected him to be quite so accommodating, instead griping over how she shouldn't need to many things. Of course, he could be saving that for when they actually get there. ]

Honestly, I would much rather you have what you need than have to listen to you complain when you're without it.

[ The complaints on his end will come when he's ready to sleep and she's still curling her hair in the bathroom. ]

[ Both teasing, and partially genuine! Either way, William is thinking of her needs, and she'll take it!

Besides, she won't be curling her hair until the morning, fortunately for him. ]

Later that night...

[ The remainder of the day going fairly decently, the two arrive at Grell's temple. How they've managed to make it to this point without some petty bickering ending the night early is a feat in itself. But now William finds himself seated on the same chaise lounge that he took residence on when he'd played babysitter for Grell during the harvest moon. He looks at his watch, wondering just how much longer it was going to take her to gather up whatever it is she needs. Though the day was surprisingly enjoyable and relaxing, he's finding himself looking forward to sleep. ]

Are you nearly finished?

[ It has been an eventful day, and Grell knows that she should be getting her beauty rest soon - and yet, she's just so excited. Tonight, she'll be sleeping in William's bed, and realistically, she knows very well that she would forgo an entire night of rest and get downright nasty for him... Not that she expects their evening to take that direction, alas. ]

Very nearly.

[ In addition to her skincare routine and hygiene essentials, she's packed herself a flat iron, hair ties, makeup for the following morning, a fresh set of clothing, and her new sleep wear! All of it was necessary, but certainly took a bit of time to gather. Now, all she has to do is figure out what she's done with her phone charger... ]

Now, you're certain that you wouldn't like anything while you wait?

[ With him sitting in her room, she's additionally prone to getting distracted - for, while she was checking the chairs, she's somehow found herself wandering up to William, instead, to place her hands upon his shoulders. ]

Chamomile tea? [ It's probably the only thing she can decently make, in existence. ]

If you would like me to fall asleep the moment we get to my temple.

[ Which might happen anyway, it was an eventful day. But, apparently he's ready to get a move on. Standing up and removing her hands from his shoulders he scoops up two of the bags that Grell has already set out as an indication that they should head out. ]

Find whatever it is you're looking for. We can have tea there if it suits us.

[ Parting her mouth to reply, she'll take a moment to backtrack on that thought - and such offers William the proper time successfully remove her. ]

Well, no, I wouldn't want that.

[ With a mildly amused roll of the eyes, she'll right his coat shoulders, bunched by the straps. ]

If you've an extra charger, there won't be any need. That was the final necessity.

[ And necessities they are, what are in those two bags. ]

You can use mine for the time being.

[ He readjusts one of the straps before glancing around to see if there was anything else. With all that's here already, it seems as though Grell's packed for a long weekend's stay. Not that he wouldn't put it past her to try and make that the goal anyway. ]

Is that all, then?

Mn, that will be all!

[ A grin will split across her face, as the lady slips her arms about William's waist. In doing so, she will take the liberty of teleporting them both to the entry of William's temple.

Immediately, she's stepping back to turn on her heel! ]

Come on, then!

[ With an excited little hop, she's headed off toward the master bedroom. It won't be the first that she's seen it.

During the time that William had gone comatose, she had been by rather regularly. It became necessary for her to physically see him, to know that he wasn't gone for good. While she was there, she took it upon herself to see that he was cared for, allowing some fresh air in the room and fussing at Hannah to assist her in changing the sheets, among other things. ]

[ Being that William was knocked out cold during that time, he is completely unaware that Grell had even been to his temple before the previous night. So when she automatically heads towards his bedroom, he has to pause behind her. ]

Sutcliffe. Where do you think you're headed?

[ Oh, what a stern tone! They're back to surnames, even!

Twirling whilst folding her arms behind her back, she tilts her head with a flirty bat of the eyes! ]

Your bedroom, silly. What, unless you had somewhere else in mind!

How do you know where my bedroom is located?

[ Don't give him that innocent look. He's well aware that they went nowhere near it the other night. And his temple isn't exactly the typical layout for a home. His room lies deep under the main portion of the temple, proving very inconvenient to get to if one weren't able to simply teleport there. ]

[ With a faint purse of her lips, Grell blinks curiously. ]

What are you--

[ Waiiit... That's right, she does recall it, now. ]

Ah. I suppose you wouldn't have known I was there, at the time, being in that-- coma, or whatever you'd like to call it.

[ Why is he surprised? He really shouldn't be surprised at all! ]

And did what? Or would I rather not know.

[ Standing herself upright, Grell pointedly plants her hands onto her hips! ]

I checked in on you, to make certain that you were present and comfortable. Perhaps you noticed that you didn't feel as though you'd been unattended for two weeks?

[ With a toss of the head, she'll flip her hair as she spins back 'round to continue on toward his room. ]

But if you'd like to believe that I'd my hand down your pants during your mental absence, then by all means.

[ Even if he had been implying something lewd happened, the specific mental image Grell's response gives him causes an irritated, and somewhat flustered huff to escape him. Quickly, he catches up to Grell, tightly gripping her upper arm and immediately transporting them to the center of his bedroom.

Once there, he drops her bags at the foot of his bed and finally turns to speak to her. ]

I was far too focused on getting you out of the situation you'd created at the harvest moon celebration to notice.

[ The aggressive way that William grasps the redhead does well to swing her back into a pleasant mood. By the time he turns to address her, Grell is grinning once more. ]

Remind me - [ Closing the distance between them, she's rubbing her palms up and along his lapels. ] - how was it that you knew to find me?

Honestly, it is practically second nature now, having dealt with you for a century.

Your frantic messages on my phone, along with a red moon. What else would I be expected to think?

[ But perhaps it is a bit odd that it was the first thing he thought to inspect upon waking. He allows her hands to idle at his chest, for now, his own remaining where they are at his sides. ]

[ She hums, sharp and amused. ]

You have learnt a thing or two about me, this past century.

[ Those hands wander up and behind his collar. ]

Those messages were why I'd come, though. You hadn't outright ignored me for quite so long. I was upset-- but a bit worried, as well. [ Idly, she brushes a thumb along the exposed skin at the nape of his neck. ] Moreso, once I saw you... and so, I kept coming back, dreading that you'd leave me for good.

You do realize that if I left, it would not be by my own choosing.

[ Unbeknownst to him, his eyes close briefly at the subtle touch against his neck. ]

I am enjoying my time around you here far more than I ever did at the office.

[ Which sounds like an insult, but really it's the absence of their job responsibilities that is allowing him to relax around his coworkers. ]
