[Fushimi actually went to sleep at a decent hour, so he's sprawled over their bed sound asleep when the sun is rising instead of grumbling about only getting two hours of sleep that night before the sun rose.]

General Shenans

[So after getting his "present" (a cat, really Misaki?) from his over-excited boyfriend (who also got himself a cat because Misaki is weak), Fushimi really doesn't know what to expect for the rest of the day.

What to expect is, apparently, pizza, games, and people he vaguely knows being invited to come over? What the fuck is this?

Still, Fushimi is going to be nice and be social for a few hours so Misaki doesn't sulk at him. Poke the birthday boy, poke people coming to poke the birthday boy, Chikusa you are not invited, Judar stop threatening the cats.]

Dude. I thought about everything. Fish are boring and dogs need walked and there's a bunch of little pets but I didn't think they'd be as good company as something that could just come crawl on your lap or something.

[Fushimi, completely deadpan, picks up the cat and holds her in front of his face.]

Nyan.

[ Yata just sputters because did you just... did that actually just happen. ]

I take it back. They're my cats. You can't have them.

[Just because he's contrary.]

Isn't that...? That one's the girl. Isn't that usually a boy's name?

[ Yata squints, but it's not like he really cares one way or another. ]

Still. She is pretty cute, huh? [ He reaches out, scratching her ears affectionately.

The orange cat, deciding he wanted his share of the attention, promptly headbutts against Yata's arm, making him laugh and reach to scoop him up once more. ]

Then we just have to think of a name for this one.

[ Yata just sticks his tongue out at him because he's sensitive about that, dammit. ]

No one calls me that but you, anyway.

But Toshi, huh? [ He holds the orange cat up to meet his gaze, getting a rather loud meow and a paw batting at his hat once more. ] Heh. I think he likes it.

What can I say? It's an awesome hat. [ Yata just grins cheekily. Then he settles Toshi back in his lap, absently scratching his stomach while the cat squirms and purrs, and glances over at Saru again. ]

[ He gives a playful salute at that. ]

I can handle that part of it. It won't be a problem. I promise.

[ He wants to ask if Saru likes them, but maybe it's better to give Saru some time to figure that out for himself first. Besides, from the way he's still cuddled up with Fuku, maybe Yata already has his answer. ]
