What: Fushimi remembered his birthday is on November 7th. He told Yata.

Closed to Misaki

[Fushimi actually went to sleep at a decent hour, so he's sprawled over their bed sound asleep when the sun is rising instead of grumbling about only getting two hours of sleep that night before the sun rose.]

General Shenans

[So after getting his "present" (a cat, really Misaki?) from his over-excited boyfriend (who also got himself a cat because Misaki is weak), Fushimi really doesn't know what to expect for the rest of the day.

What to expect is, apparently, pizza, games, and people he vaguely knows being invited to come over? What the fuck is this?

Still, Fushimi is going to be nice and be social for a few hours so Misaki doesn't sulk at him. Poke the birthday boy, poke people coming to poke the birthday boy, Chikusa you are not invited, Judar stop threatening the cats.]

[ Look, he was fine with not threatening the cat until it started kneading onto him. There are places that is not for, and definitely not meant for cats to be around. Then it bit him! (Judar, it barely nibbled while being affectionate.) Still, even he can try to behave on something that's meant to be a birthday party. Not that he was the most familiar with the concept, but hey, whatever. Food and shit.

He may have even forgotten to take his glasses off today.

Sorry guests, who had hoped to never run into this jerk. Except he's not particularly going out of his way to be one. Not unless you count purposefully attacking everyone but Fushimi, and helping/letting him win at Smash Bros. While new to this concept of video games, he's pretty good at catching up, and has had a few weeks to do just that.

Just don't go by his room. Even if it's hard to find the bed under all the books, notebooks and sketch pads, and various loose papers around. ]


Post Shenans

[ When people have either returned to their temples or decided to crash in one of the guest rooms, leaving just temple residents in the same room, Judar finally relaxes with one of the ales they had.

Not that he wasn't relaxed before, but there's a lower energy kind when it's just the people that live around here. Even if it's still not at the casual or familial level the other three have with each other. ]

I guess birthdays aren't so bad... So, who's is the next one, and when?

[ Not that he knows when you people figured them out, or decided them. ]

[ Yata hums from where he's sprawled on the ground, feet kicked in the air as he plays a game on one of his little handheld devices. ]

Dunno. I missed mine because I didn't know it yet. I don't know when Izumo's is, but he probably does, since he's got everything back now.

[ He pauses, glancing over his shoulder at Judar curiously a moment. ] No idea when yours is yet?

So it'd either be yours or Izumo's.

[ He pauses in thought, only to finish drinking the bottle he'd opened up. ]

Nope. Pretty sure it wouldn't mean anything, even if I did.

[ That sounds really 'emo' (not that Judar knows what that means,) but he meant it in a very practical way. ]

[ Chinatsu recognized that stupidly long braid right away, making it a point to try and avoid him, keeping her back turned to him, she wouldn't need to interact with him. Was Yata friends with this guy? Realistically though, it'd be hard to avoid him when there were only so many people in the room...

She'll step into the hallway for a little bit, needing to take a breather. She can be civil for Yata...it's his boyfriend's birthday...she will be civil. Even if the guy totally cheated the last time they faced off. Damn, she was getting irritated just remembering it. ]

[ Just as she recognized his braid, he recognized that forehead. Not that he had any reason to force himself into being more 'tolerable' and civil around the guests that showed up. Even with this one, but that's because he won the game they played a while ago.

Right now she was blocking the hall, right in the way of... ]

Either two steps forward or to the left, brows.

[ That's the door he wants to get into, which goes to his room. ]

Closed to Saru
[ Considering they'd fallen asleep mostly together, Yata's pretty relieved Saru got a full night of sleep in. But that doesn't mean that he's not still all but bouncing in excitement as he busies himself around the apartment that morning.

When he has everything together, just like he planned, he slips in with a tray of breakfast - western food, since Saru often requested that, after having lived with Roy for a while and having gotten used to it. There's scrambled eggs and bacon and coffee and orange juice and a muffin all laid out for him as he carries it over to the bed beside where Saru still sleeps. A card in a red envelope is propped up against the glass of orange juice.

Then he reaches out to lightly poke at Saru's shoulder as he sets it down, grinning in anticipation. ]

Yo. Wake up, sleepyhead.

[ He'd honestly half expected the smell of food and coffee to wake him up by now. ]

Party Shenanigans.
[ The afternoon is spent chilling with anyone who wandered over to hang out, although mostly making sure Saru still manages to mostly enjoy himself on his birthday. There are matches of Mario Kart and Smash Brothers and a few other games they hook up on the console in the living room of Izumo's temple. There is a literal mountain of pizza for everyone (shinki eat a lot, yo) and there's even a few movies tossed on the screen later in the day while people are winding down.

Yata's sort of in the middle of it - even if he's not technically playing host, he still wants to make sure people have fun. Also, Saru (and maybe Judar, too?) getting to meet new people is probably good for everyone here. Not that he knows many people himself, but that's not the point here. Either way, he's determined that everyone has fun and does his best to make sure they do. ]

[When he gets sleep, he gets sleep. It takes Misaki poking him and talking to him to even get him to stir and then it's still another few seconds before he reaches for his glasses and opens his eyes.

And stares.]

Misaki, what the fuck...?

[ Yata just grins at him as he blinks up at him sleepily. ]

Oh yeah, a guy totally planned this party.

[ Chinatsu let's out a snort, but she's not really complaining. She did think it was kind of weird to attend the party of someone you didn't know, but since it was Yata-san inviting...]

Party Things

[Lavi's been invited to the party. For whatever reason.

Honestly, he's talked to Fushimi a couple of times and he hasn't spoken to Yata in a while so this is a surprise. Not unpleasant, just a surprise. But that also seems to include being dragged in for a day of partying that includes games and pizza--he'll admit that he likes the pizza.

The pizza is good.

Hope you didn't expect a present from him, Fushimi. Yata wasn't exactly clear on getting any sort of presents. He may also low-key be avoiding Judar, but he's not actively doing it. He's more focused on just making sure to enjoy himself or poke anyone else who's decided to come to the party. It's easy to find him playing games, though he's confused at the controls and really button smashing. Please help.]

[ It has been a long while since he's seen the redhead, so he grins when he spots him, coming over to fling an arm around his shoulder and drag him into the room. No, he's not drunk, he's just having fun and apparently this is what it looks like? Who knew? ]

I was hoping you'd come! Where've you been, man?

Oh, you know. Busy teaching a class and then falling asleep for who knows how long. The same old.

[Lavi grins at him.]

[ Hey, if Lavi wants to avoid Judar, that's fine. He can go around as if Lavi's a complete nobody as well. Even if the others in this temple know just how often he's been over before that whole sleeping episode.

However this doesn't mean that he won't help destroy Lavi while playing smash bros, so that Fushimi could win. Having gotten a first-hand look from a professional (that is, Futaba,) and practicing with the other two young adults in the temple, Judar's actually pretty good at using proper controls. As demonstrated when his character grabs Lavi's, jumps off the edge and lets go in time to save himself and jump back onto the platform again.

It's not targeting because it's you, Lavi. You just make it easy. ]

[ Chinatsu isn't insulting in her tone, just matter of fact as she grabs herself a drink. It was easy enough to pick out which one was the "Saru" he kept talking about. That, and he was the only one she didn't actually recognize. ]

[ She holds out a small bag, with some chocolates and a *tarbucks gift card. A very general gift, but not like Yata was very helpful with suggestions. And she'll smile, because that's polite. ]

[Well, color Reisi surprised to find out that Fushimi had lost his other god and was now Kusanagi's shinki. It's strange how so much can change and yet stay the same as time passes, though Reisi's missed quite a bit while he'd been sleeping three weeks straight.

In any case, he decided not to miss out on greeting Fushimi for his birthday. It was the least he could do, all things considered. While Reisi would normally pull out all the stops and be a bit of an attention whore at Fushimi's party, the past few months have given him a different perspective. So he instead decides to simply meet with Fushimi in private.

Besides, he's always known Fushimi to be somewhat less than social.]

Happy birthday, Fushimi-kun. Would you have happened to recall your age as well?

[Fushimi has no idea why Misaki invited Munakata, but he's here now so he might as well be mildly civil.]

[To some extent, it's relieving that Fushimi has mustered some semblance of civility for just the moment. However, Reisi knows Fushimi likely doesn't care to see him, nor has he cared since Reisi had refused to unlock his saber. And while doing so now sounds like a perfect birthday present, there are things that need to be both confirmed and resolved before that.

Those things should and will come in their own time.]

Namely, for curiosity's sake, that's all. In any case, I brought a present for you.

[Which Fushimi can promptly throw out if he so desires. It'd hurt, of course, but at least it'd also be a reflection of his true feelings.

Anyway, he holds out a large bag. The name of a department store is printed onto the bag, and inside there is quite a bit of tissue paper around a rather large, wrapped box. Because Japan makes a super big huge deal about wrapping presents, and it's only natural for Reisi of all people to have requested something like this be wrapped.]
