May Training
Who: Everyone
What: Information and Training
When: November 21st
Where: Outside the Meeting Hall, the Far Shore & Capypa Land
Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods and shinki

Gods and shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided to the rear of the Meeting Hall, where a traditionally styled dojo and training ground have been made available for the day. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the details of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.
Once they've had a chance to have things explained, they'll have the chance (veterans and new arrivals alike) to go spend the rest of the day in a very magical place...!

Once they've had a chance to have things explained, they'll have the chance (veterans and new arrivals alike) to go spend the rest of the day in a very magical place...!

God Training
- Newly arrived gods are escorted into a much nicer room than the warehouse where the last set of new gods got their informational speech. It's a smaller meeting room, with tatami floors and a small dais at the front of the room where the speaker stands. A minor deity is giving the speech, and none of the white-robed shinki enter.
The speaker is a few minutes late, and looks rushed and a bit stressed, but delivers her speech with the intonation of someone who's practiced it many times. They are encouraged to discuss the information with each other and ask questions of more experienced gods, as well as instructed to guide their new shinki appropriately.
Shinki Training
- Various shinki in the white-and-gold of Amaterasu's hosuehold are stationed around the dojo, passing out old "From Ama" magazines with articles describing the Heavens, profiling important gods, and interviewing successful shinki. They will be happy to answer any questions or instruct the newcomers in the use of the borderline. They also accompany their answers, or lessons, with an explanation of what is expected of a shinki and the importance of teamwork with other shinki and with gods. Shinki are encouraged to work together to practice what they've learned and discuss their perspectives.
The dojo doesn't seem quite prepared for everyone's arrival; the usual weapons are nowhere to be seen, the animated targets are missing, and there aren't even any standard paper or straw targets for newcomers to train with. The space is still available, though, in case any gods want to transform and practice working with their new shinki.
Rides and Refreshments
- Capypa Land is a theme park filled with roller coasters, themed rides, movies, costumed mascot characters dressed as Capypa and plenty of opportunities for photographs, souvenirs and sightseeing! Restaurants and snack stands throughout the park mean lots of places to relax and grab lunch, and there's even a winter illumination -- thousands of lights twinkle to life on trees and buildings around the park after night falls.
(Think Disneyland, themed on cartoon capybara instead of cartoon mice.)
Rather than put together a reception at the Meeting Hall, today, the white-robed heavenly shinki are offering new arrivals tickets to Capypa Land and guiding them to the park entrance. Newcomers can relax, enjoy themselves and get to know their new gods or shinki in a family-friendly environment. Any more experienced gods or shinki who volunteer to help with the training can claim one of the Capypa Land tickets for themselves, too. Buy yourself a Capypa ear headband, mingle with the Friday crowds, have your picture taken with a mascot, and don't forget to stay for the dinnertime parade and fireworks!
The Happiest Place on Earth?
- Capypa Land is a theme park in the Near Shore, so it's not quite as safe from ayakashi as the Heavens. Can anyone be sad in such a happy place? Well... stressed families, long lines, angry customers and bad dates produce enough negative emotion to attract occasional ayakashi. Make sure to keep an eye out for malicious spirits, from tiny little insects buzzing around and raising family tension to bigger boogeymen created by childhood fears.
On the other hand, maybe this is an opportunity! Why not lend a hand and practice your teamwork by rending a few of those ayakashi? With so many gods and shinki at the park for the day, all those troublesome spirits can be exorcised to make sure the park visitors have a truly magical time.

In Summary:
- Get all the information you can handle
- Veteran new gods and shinki are welcome to volunteer showing the ropes
- Get in some training
- Visit Capypa Land
- Have fun~
Nanako | Capypa Land | OTA
Immediately turning into an excited, hyper seven-year-old
on a sugar-high, the tiny goddess is determined to try everything. An Amusement Park trip is a treat, even for her, and while she's never heard of this place before, that doesn't seem to matter as she wanders around taking in everything with wide eyes. Also, it's no surprise to see her in one of the furry-eared headbands and hugging a large Capypa plush toy that's half as big as she is. Someone obviously won her one of the ones dangling from many of the game stalls.Spotting a familiar figure nearby, she dashes over to latch onto a hand, tugging lightly. ]
Hi! Can we try that? Will you help me?
[ Whether it's a food stand, a souvenir booth, or one of the many Capypa-themed rides is up to you, but you now have a Tiny decked out in Capypa-ears looking up at you hopefully.
At least she's waiting for adult supervision today? ]
smol child~!
Are you familiar with this kind of treat? I'm afraid I may not.
[It looks fluffy...and colorful. Child halp.]

For now, though, she just beams up at him, even happier now when she learns she can introduce him to something he's never gotten to try before. ]
I am! It's called cotton candy! You've never tried it before, Aymeric? It's really good! Uhh, if you like sweets, that is. Do you?
[ She knows Shun doesn't, so she thought she'd better ask first. ]
no subject
I do not mind sweet things at all. It is good to try new things, even if we do not know anything of it to start.

She's sure a unicorn would find him very kissable.
And Leo would try to throw a book at them
Leo that's not very nice
Its kissing his boyfriend, its valid
no subject
I don't mind at all.
no subject
Also she is gesturing at something. Horses! He knows horses! Except... they seem to be horse statues. This place is so strange!]

[ It's the boy from before, the one that doesn't know what any of these rides are. ]

Yeah, isn't he cute?

[But the ride looks to be on the tamer side -- one of those ones that lift people on on swings to go spinning. A little mild for Edge's tastes, but even a reckless ninja can have a responsible side when a kid is involved.]

I hope it doesn't spin too quickly.

[On the other hand, he had sort of... wanted to check things out himself. Just to see what Ken would like- because come on. The rides, all the things to do, the food... It's way too much for Chikusa, but he knows his now-boyfriend would love all of it. Maybe he'll save all of this for a date day some other time, when he has more energy.]
[For now, it's god day, and he blinks down at the constant tugging his hand is being subject to.]
...A funhouse...?
[He's never been in one, but, hey, sure.]
no subject
[ Nanako switches between staring at the funhouse itself and blinking big eyes up at Chikusa. ]
...You don't think there's anything spooky in there, though... right?
no subject
....We've dealt with spooky things before...
[So what??? What is problem?? He doesn't understand]

Hello~
But the sudden tug on her hand catches her surprise, looking down at the little one she now feels inclined to babysit, not that she minds. Her helmet shifts up to one of the game stands that Nanako is pointing at.]
I can give it a try. I know these games can be very hard to win.
Celty! \o/
But there happened to be a very fuzzy looking cat plush in a dress hanging from this particular stand that she might have her eye on, so....
She glances up at Celty searchingly. ]
Have you played it before? Do you think you can do it?
Re: Celty! \o/
[Let alone falling over at all. And damn, she was looking at that cat plush herself...but if Nanako wants it she's not the sort to leave a child feeling like the loser.
She nods and then steps up to the table, paying for a set of balls. Taking a moment to judge the distance she steadies herself, aims, and then throws as best she can at the base of one of the two bottom bottles.]
no subject
What's this? Do you want me to sneak you onto the big kids' rides?
no subject
That one. But is it too scary? I don't like the really scary ones. But it looked like fun.
no subject
It's only scary if you let it. But you're not going to let a giant metal shoebox on wheels get the better of you, right?
no subject
Gesturing toward the game,] Is that what you'd like help with? I'd be more than happy to assist you.
no subject
[ When he gestures to the game she'd come to ask for help with, she just nods emphatically. ] Yeah! It's too tall I can't reach all the holes, but it looked like fun.
no subject
[Looking it over, there are two clubs for whacking the various pop-ups.]
Do you want to take the bottom row while I take the top? We can split the middle between ourselves.
