Summary: In a bid to take over Heaven, Sho has unleashed an apocalyptic number of taboo ayakashi the biggest Heaven-wrecking godmode weapon this side of the Far Shore. It doesn't end well. Get ready for spring cleaning 2.0.

Susano'o, Selfies, and the Subjugation of Heaven

As he'd revealed in his 3 AM BBS post, Sho has a variety of fascinating ayakashi that he wants to share with the world. By noon, several large heaps located in various parts of Heaven have caught on fire and there is a massive outpouring of taboo ayakashi.

Concentrated primarily near the Meeting Hall and Susano'o's junk heap of a temple, these ayakashi attack shinki and gods on sight. They're vicious, powerful, and the only way to defeat them is the power of teamwork.

At 2 PM, Joshua will be providing some helpful tips. Meanwhile, Sho will be teleport-spamming throughout Heaven. Feel free to text him, but he'll stop answering right around the time Bishamon and Hajime start to catch up to him. (Picowatt will be helping out from there on!)

Boss Fight: Seiten Taisei and the Neoclassical Drakes

It's the zero hour, exactly 43,200 seconds since he posted his warning to the BBS when Sho decides to change the game. Heaven has rallied against him, gods and shinki alike, and it's time to pull out the big guns.

In the air above the Meeting Hall, he unleashes thirteen Neoclassical Drakes before releasing Seiten Taisei.

And, suddenly, it's entrails everywhere.

Post-Battle Spring Cleaning

Well, the day is saved, but there's a metric ton left to do. The mass slaughter left a bit of a bloody mess, and Susano'o has shrines on the Near Shore covered in graffiti that can turn any stray ayakashi into the taboo sort. Weird and corrupt magics all over the place, some of which are on fire. His junkyard temple is burning merrily, and there are still some stray taboo ayakashi to put down.

Anyone ready for Spring Cleaning 2.0? Grab a mop.

[ Yeah, these things are definitely a pain. Even in the original game... yeah fuck you Sho.

Otegine makes his way up to Bishamon and her battle shinki on the roof to close the distance after their little baseball game. The surprised look on his face thanks to her comment is nothing new when it's him, really. ]

Yeah, I guess. Why does that loud math jerk have to make ayakashi like that? If they're a hassle for me and even you to kill on our own, then...

[ He rubs his neck in exasperation, but stops too little too late when he realizes that it draws attention (Kuraha's stare is his hint, who probably would motion for Bishamon to do the same). On the side of his neck is the telltale mark of blight, which he immediately tries to hide by adjusting his jacket. ]

[ She names off her shinki one by one, from Aiha to Kuraha. When they revert, it's almost a collective sigh of relief and a crumpled heap (at least in the case of the two kids, Karuha and Kazuha) before turning to the other god.

There's a furrow to her brow though when she notices Kuraha looking. Yes, yes she sees that. Good of him not to mention it. But she'll cut straight to the chase. ]

...when you can, get yourself to a temple. It won't do you any good fighting in the state you're in.

[ At this point, the notion that Bishamon has quite the group of combat shinki doesn't surprise him (either Karuha or Kazuha saved him back when he arrived. They're kids and quite exhausted. He'd tell them "Good job!", but there's another thing he has to handle, and that would be Bishamon's concern. ]

Right right, but a lot have their hands full. These things target gods and shinki after all, catching people off guard.

[ Otegine turns his head away, unable to meet that gaze, honestly. ]

I'm not dead yet, or dying. I've felt worse pain as a tsukumogami.

[ The kids are in good hands. After all, Kinuha has an eye on them and Karuha's already back to his eager self. So she isn't all that worried. They're her elite, after all. But a break's good for everyone... even Otegine.

There's the slightest frown that does come to her brow though. ]

If you can still fight, I won't discourage you. We'll need all the help we can get. But...

[ A sharp exhale. ]

The moment it gets unbearable, find a temple where you can cleanse yourself. For your sake and your shinki's.
