Summary: In a bid to take over Heaven, Sho has unleashed an apocalyptic number of taboo ayakashi the biggest Heaven-wrecking godmode weapon this side of the Far Shore. It doesn't end well. Get ready for spring cleaning 2.0.

Susano'o, Selfies, and the Subjugation of Heaven

As he'd revealed in his 3 AM BBS post, Sho has a variety of fascinating ayakashi that he wants to share with the world. By noon, several large heaps located in various parts of Heaven have caught on fire and there is a massive outpouring of taboo ayakashi.

Concentrated primarily near the Meeting Hall and Susano'o's junk heap of a temple, these ayakashi attack shinki and gods on sight. They're vicious, powerful, and the only way to defeat them is the power of teamwork.

At 2 PM, Joshua will be providing some helpful tips. Meanwhile, Sho will be teleport-spamming throughout Heaven. Feel free to text him, but he'll stop answering right around the time Bishamon and Hajime start to catch up to him. (Picowatt will be helping out from there on!)

Boss Fight: Seiten Taisei and the Neoclassical Drakes

It's the zero hour, exactly 43,200 seconds since he posted his warning to the BBS when Sho decides to change the game. Heaven has rallied against him, gods and shinki alike, and it's time to pull out the big guns.

In the air above the Meeting Hall, he unleashes thirteen Neoclassical Drakes before releasing Seiten Taisei.

And, suddenly, it's entrails everywhere.

Post-Battle Spring Cleaning

Well, the day is saved, but there's a metric ton left to do. The mass slaughter left a bit of a bloody mess, and Susano'o has shrines on the Near Shore covered in graffiti that can turn any stray ayakashi into the taboo sort. Weird and corrupt magics all over the place, some of which are on fire. His junkyard temple is burning merrily, and there are still some stray taboo ayakashi to put down.

Anyone ready for Spring Cleaning 2.0? Grab a mop.

[He's forced to jump out of the way of that horn as the creature scrambles to turn around in his direction, the momentum causing it to trash around wildly. So he's off his balance when the ayakashi rears up as if to crush him, with no chance to avoid the impact. He doesn't even try, simply straightening up and calmly watching the spirit. Waiting.

And a moment later, his body dissolves into light, missed completely by the forceful attack as he reforms a moment later in Hijikata's hand.]

Don't attack it head on. I couldn't find a single weak spot.

[Yamato isn't the type to take offense to teasing, but even if he was, he's too elated by this chance to care about much else. He laughs, a sound Ayumu probably hasn't heard since that night; and while there's no visible change, his blade grows even sharper.

They've seen a lot today. Some would say a battle is no place for laughter and joy, and that's especially true within the chaos and heartache of today. But Yamato can't help himself; this is what he is now. Both his goddesses have been fierce and unrepentant, and he takes the form of a blade for a reason. Why wouldn't he enjoy himself when he's doing what he's meant to do?

[He doesn't really need to instruct her this time--they figured things out pretty well on the last rhino ayakashi. So instead of wasting his words, he pours his energy into piercing its tough body. Maybe it's Hijikata's presence, or maybe it's Souji's--whatever the reason, his focus and strength land a clean hit, wresting an unearthly screech from the creature. They don't bleed, but it's a start.]

[And it's a good start, indeed. Despite the grim circumstances, Ayumu's smile is radiant. Maybe the battlefield isn't a place for joy and laughter but since her arrival on the Far Shore, she's come to experience the pleasure that comes from fighting with a comrade by her side and developed a taste for it.

Funny how her feelings are in concord with his. She, too, understands the pride and joy that comes from fulfilling one's purpose. His is to be a weapon and hers is to protect those she holds dear.

As Yamato cuts into the rhino, Ayumu chances a glance toward Hijikata and Okita, seeing and hearing the latter already being transformed. Truly, she'd expect nothing less from them, even in the strange new situation they've found themselves in.]

Attack them from behind. It's where they're the most vulnerable. And they're slow. Easy to outmaneuver.

[She might be a goddess but in her heart, she's still Hijikata's shinobi. So of course, the first thing she does is report the information she and Yamato have obtained on the enemy.]
