Susano'o Trashes Heaven
Who: Sho Minamimoto vs. Everyone!
What: Susano'o decides to take on Heaven. Chaos results.
When: All day April 19
Where: All around the Heavens
Summary: In a bid to take over Heaven, Sho has unleashed an apocalyptic number of taboo ayakashi the biggest Heaven-wrecking godmode weapon this side of the Far Shore. It doesn't end well. Get ready for spring cleaning 2.0.
Warnings: Math, strong language, casual disembowelment and other violence, NPC death, potential for character death.
12:00:00 PM
Susano'o, Selfies, and the Subjugation of Heaven
As he'd revealed in his 3 AM BBS post, Sho has a variety of fascinating ayakashi that he wants to share with the world. By noon, several large heaps located in various parts of Heaven have caught on fire and there is a massive outpouring of taboo ayakashi.
Concentrated primarily near the Meeting Hall and Susano'o's junk heap of a temple, these ayakashi attack shinki and gods on sight. They're vicious, powerful, and the only way to defeat them is the power of teamwork.
At 2 PM, Joshua will be providing some helpful tips. Meanwhile, Sho will be teleport-spamming throughout Heaven. Feel free to text him, but he'll stop answering right around the time Bishamon and Hajime start to catch up to him. (Picowatt will be helping out from there on!)
Save Heaven 2K16? (Details here!)

Boss Fight: Seiten Taisei and the Neoclassical Drakes
It's the zero hour, exactly 43,200 seconds since he posted his warning to the BBS when Sho decides to change the game. Heaven has rallied against him, gods and shinki alike, and it's time to pull out the big guns.
In the air above the Meeting Hall, he unleashes thirteen Neoclassical Drakes before releasing Seiten Taisei.
And, suddenly, it's entrails everywhere.
??:??:??
Post-Battle Spring Cleaning
Well, the day is saved, but there's a metric ton left to do. The mass slaughter left a bit of a bloody mess, and Susano'o has shrines on the Near Shore covered in graffiti that can turn any stray ayakashi into the taboo sort. Weird and corrupt magics all over the place, some of which are on fire. His junkyard temple is burning merrily, and there are still some stray taboo ayakashi to put down.
Anyone ready for Spring Cleaning 2.0? Grab a mop.

Suddenly, she jolts up in surprise, startled out of focus as she turns her head wide-eyed to see Omi dashing over to her.]
Omi! Where have you been?!
[Sheryl hasn't seen her friend since this entire skirmish, so the fact that he's still okay causes her expression to soften a little. Still frantic, maybe with some stress coming through, but she allows a sigh of relief.]
There were too many ayakashi because some crazy god unleashed them here...
no subject
I was working all day... I had no idea this was happening. I'm so sorry...!
[But there's really nothing that can be done about that now. All that he can do now is help care for the wounded.]
Hey, why don't you go rest? I can pick up for you here. I know First Aid.

Sheryl spares another bleeding shinki just a few feet away from Omi, then casts an expectant look.]
See that girl right there? If you want to help, then take care of her first!
['Please don't worry about me.' The words that she's tempted to say, but is too focused on her task to even say them.]
no subject
Which is why, given such a clear opening, Omi picks up Sheryl's kit of supplies as a silent claim. If she doesn't have her own, surely it only makes sense to sit down, doesn't it? Yes, it's a bit sneaky... but he can't say he's sorry, if it achieves its desired effect.]
Leave it to me.
[He's not going to wait for (or listen to) any protests to his little theft. Instead he sets everything down by the bleeding girl and pulls on a pair of disposable gloves from the kit. If this were a less serious injury, he'd clean first, but task #1 here is to stop the bleeding. He pulls out a large gauze pad, opens it from the wrapper, and places it against the wound, applying gentle but firm pressure.]
no subject
Wait! You can't just—!
[A hand suddenly rests on her shoulder, stopping her from following Omi. It's the shinki whose wounds she took care of from earlier, and he gives her a firm look.
"Euterpe-sama, you've done more than enough. I thank you."]
But he just took it! I was just going to—
[The shinki, however, won't have any of Sheryl's complaints, just as stubborn in his disposition as she is. He shakes his head, this time giving her a smile.
"That friend of yours, isn't he... I must say that I agree with him. While I commend you for your efforts in helping the injured, even a professional such as yourself must rest. You've earned it, Euterpe-sama."
Sheryl spares Omi a glance, watching him take care of the female shinki beside him. He wasn't kidding when he said he knows first aid, probably even better than her, judging from the way he pulls the gauze pad over the wound.
And so, her facial features soften up at the sight, a quiet observation out of herself.]
He's a really good person.
/writes a novel
It's still hard to believe what a disaster took place while he was obliviously serving sandwiches and tea to cat lovers. He works quietly, diligently, and keeps half an eye out for Sheryl, just in case she tries to come back in. He has to wonder if she's really all right, or if she's just putting forth a strong face because there isn't a choice right now.
Physically, of course, she's probably fine. It's the inside that he's concerned about: war was a traumatic experience. Witnessing so much violence, the stench of blood saturating the air and staining the ground and the bodies that litter it... Omi is desensitized to it by now. Most people never saw this kind of exposure, though. Sheryl wasn't a war veteran or a vigilante through murder as far as he knew-- she was a pop star. She got on a stage and sang and danced. He imagines that she deals with oceans of screaming fans and greedy producers and nosy journalists. It couldn't possibly prepare a person for this kind of massacre.
And yet still all she seems to be able to think about is helping others. She's tired, she's injured, her hair and clothes are a mess, but she isn't complaining. She just wants to take care of those even worse off. That kind of selflessness hits Omi hard. Not for the first time, he's reminded of a girl from his own world who once showed him there was much more to her than met the eye.
After a few minutes, he's done all he can for the shinki on the ground. The wound seems to have stopped bleeding and is heavily bandaged, and he's given her a blanket to help her stay warm despite the blood loss. Omi gathers up the kit of supplies and moves to the next close person in need of care, treating them for burns and a broken leg. At that point, he turns his attention back to Sheryl. He wants to make sure first that she's resting like she needs to, and second... to maybe get some sense of where she really stood on the point that most worried him about her.]
I think those two will be okay... How are you holding up?
no subject
It's easy for anyone to see Sheryl as a simple pop star with a diva complex. So easy to be underestimated. But also easy for her to never tell her friends what she'd been through. She'd never gotten this far and survived through luck alone, is what she always believed.
Maybe someday she can tell Omi (he strikes her as an understanding man), but... not right now. Causing him more grief is the last thing she'd want. Pride also has something to do with it.
Sheryl watches him from where she sits, now being tended to by an elderly woman who's fixing the bandages on her sides. Ow. She hisses under her breath, closing her briefly before opening them. Ah, that's right, the ugly wolf-like ayakashi did this to her.
She's too quick to fix her posture once Omi speaks to her, brushing her fingers along the loose strands framing her face.]
You're talking to Sheryl Nome here. What do you think?
[The slightest of wincing is what is takes to put a crack in her confident bravado.]
no subject
I think I'm talking to a strong and selfless person... who would probably really benefit from going back to her home and soaking in a warm bath. Don't you think?
[Tell him that doesn't sound nice, he dares you.]
no subject
That she's gone far and beyond for the people near to her, and that she really needs to rest. Omi isn't the only one who thinks so, of course, if the way the shinki next to her nod in agreement is any indication.
Sheryl pauses in silence, seeming to not have anything to say until a faint smile tugs at her lips.]
I have a jacuzzi that has my name all over it in my temple.
[Despite how tired and messy she looks, not to mention clearly injured, she looks at her friend, then parts her mouth. No words seem to come out, but if Omi can read her lips...
"Thank you." It's what she said.]
no subject
It definitely does. Go answer it.
[He doesn't say it, but he'll be staying in her stead to finish helping the wounded.]
no subject
[Sheryl says, making a peace sign with two fingers. Well, as soon as she's done being fussed over by the shinki next to her, that is. The stubborn part of her wants to stick around despite her injuries, but even workaholics like herself need a break.
So go ahead, Omi, tend to the injured in her place.]
