Maybe? [His senses are a little fuzzy at the moment, honestly, but if she thinks it's appropriate, he'll have to trust her judgement.]

[Technology these days sure is incredible.]

That's the plan. [It's not a plan he's necessarily thrilled about, but it's a plan nonetheless.] The lot of us have been pretty preoccupied lately, but sparing some time to keep eyes on all these newcomers is starting to get awfully necessary.

[If he weren't already convinced that most of the newly dubbed gods were a bunch of brats, this kind of attitude sure would be compelling enough evidence to change anyone's mind, he's sure. His mouth tightens a little, but he knows he's also supposed to be keeping his own manners about him as much as possible (boss' orders!) so he can respond to the comments in a fairly even manner.

I mean it's still super obvious that he's annoyed by Shun's tone, but at least he's trying?]

We've got a busy job here, you know. [Running the heavens and all that.] Besides, it's not like we've gone years without any appearances or anything. It's only been a few months.

[That's. Ah. 'A few months' since the new gods and shinki started showing up. It might not necessarily hold true for the counselors public appearances, but details.]

[This is definitely more than 'a little' fire, but Raijin would never admit that something like this is too much to handle, because it is not. The vastness of the fire itself just means it's pretty much impossible to make short work of it. We gotta be patient and diligent! Which, uh, the first part of that might not be easy either.

Especially if they keep messing around the entire time. That gust catches Raijin by surprise, and he has to readjust his stance to keep himself from losing balance. Once he's resteadied, he shoots a sharp look over to Fuujin and roars out an equally sharp,]

Stop messing around! It'll take forever if you keep pulling that shit!

[Of course, the air practically crackling with electricity, a barely restrained threat of lightning, probably betrays just how much he wants to dish out a little payback for that.]

That... [Sounds pretty unbelievable actually] Would be pretty cool, I guess? [At least he has enough manners to keep his less polite comments to himself? He pauses for a moment before adding,] We've been really busy lately, so this kinda thing is a nice change of pace.

[Even if the counselors were pretty much forced into going out and enjoying the fresh air. But. Whatever.]

[Alice seemed to be clam and collected, curious even..until her death was mentioned. There is a freezing and a moment of sadness passing on her face, her hand touching the back of her neck lightly. Alice doesn't seem to know how to take it, as others she had spoken to seemed to bypass anything of the sort.]

Oh...I would...assume so at this point. No one else has made that claim yet.

[Not like Alice would be any better...Although possibly snark filled depending who it was.]

But of course, even looking into those could cause them to deteriorate over time just by handling if not. Although wanting to even look through them is tempting.
