[Why is he just playing with it, is he 5...? What a silly question, of course he is. Hazel can... PROBABLY.... leave him to it, then, and go deal with his olives. Soon he'll realize he has to slice these himself and Regret it.]

[Just make Jae-Ha stop playing with the can opener and slice the olives, that's easy. But... yes. He is playing with it. What's wrong with that? He opens it as far as it can, peering at the little blades with a hum.]

Something like that. Cheese and olives, is that all we're having?

Didja want somethin' else? I'll draw the line at peppers, but if there's somethin', add it now.

[Olives, olives... he glances at Jae-Ha, and Disapproves.] Quit playin' with it, it's not a toy.

After you were playing with me over it, I only thought it seemed fitting.

[But fine, he'll put this to the side and go to fetch his idea—] How about some tomatoes? I think that should be enough.

[Hazel is still in olive hell, but he has time to be a white boy about this-]

There's already tomatoes. That's the whole sauce.

[God. He stops, turning to look at Hazel in surprise.]

Tomatoes would taste completely different baked on top! I thought the line was only drawn at peppers?

I was just wonderin' what the point was. I guess ya could.

Just a few! They'll taste good, I promise.

[He's putting tomatoes on this damn pizza, it will be great.]

[How redundant... Hazel is going to pick them off, just wait. Anyway, he'll be done with olives finally in a second.]

How long's this s'posed to cook?

[TRY IT AT LEAST]

Ten minutes, I think? Or until the crust looks dark enough.

[UGH, HE DOESN'T WANT TO!!]

Do ya know how to work the oven?

[razzledazzles]

It said to turn it as high as possible. How hard could it be?

[As high as....... Jae-Ha, no.]

[He pauses at that, placing a hand on his hip.]

After how you searched through it earlier, I'm not sure I should.

[He's just being difficult.]

[Jae-Ha!! Hazel holds his hand out expectantly.]

I'm not burnin' the whole house down for the sake of your pride. Let's see it.

You really think I'm so irresponsible?

[He knows better than to burn the house down!! He watched a youtubes video on this, Hazel, please. But alright, because he is actually not stupid all of the time, he'll pass his phone over. He doesn't want to burn down this nice temple over pizza.]

[Hmm, he's not answering that... Anyway, thank you, he'll look at how to actually use the oven for this recipe and... go do that!! It needs to preheat. They should have done this first, they're idiots.]

Well, now we've got some time to wait. [And just stare at the oven...... great.]

[razzledazzles]

[Hazel is cute. How was he supposed to know to preheat an oven? Besides, this is fun. They have nothing better to do. Sitting here and waiting means he can move over and sit in a chair, crossing one leg over the other and resting an elbow on the table.]

Hmmm, what will I do with all of this time? I suppose I'll just sit here.

[churchbelle]

[He's still looking at the oven, maybe it will heat up faster if he stares at it... At least until Jae-Ha speaks again, at which point he will look over, eyebrow raised.

Get a load of this guy. Not that Hazel isn't walking over to him and stopping to bump a knee into his leg, because he is, but get a load of this. Hi, nerd.]

[He is innocent? He keeps his smirk up all the while, even as his leg slowly uncrosses.]

Oh, am I in your seat?

[churchbelle]

[Hmm... hmm. There's an obvious solution here, but for now Hazel is still standing next to him, looking at him... hey.]

Looks like it.

[razzledazzles]

[What... That's no fun. Jae-Ha is just going to lean even more on the table, smiling even more brightly at him. Eventually, he'll slowly cross one leg over the other again, even wiggling his foot.]

[Oh, so it's like that...!! Fine, Hazel reaches out and puts a hand on his knee, to push his leg back down.]

[razzledazzles]

[Slowly, again, he'll give way to that, putting that leg back down.]

You're taking so long that we might have to eat before we get anywhere good.

[churchbelle]

[He could just ask Hazel to climb into his lap and it would be faster— but just as he leans forward like he might, the oven beeps. It is ready.

There's a long pause before Hazel sighs and goes to shove the pizza in, completely forgetting to set a timer in his thirsty haste to get back over there and properly climb into Jae-Ha's lap. Hello.]
