Who: Lightning and you! Plus one closed prompt!
When: May 3
Where: Osiris' Palace
What: There's a giant bird!
Warnings: None yet
[Lightning has had quite a morning. Waking up to a giant white bird standing over her bed, cooing happily, was both welcoming and confusing. The last time she had seen her companion was when the world was ending. She had said her goodbye's to him then.
And now here he was. The Angel of Valhalla himself. Odin. The chocobo was as happy to see Light as she was to see him. Since Hope had suddenly left, it does her heart good to see something familiar other than the crystal flowers.]
[Open]
[After posting on the network, Lightning has to make sure that her temple grounds weren't littered with things that might attack her visitors. Being a god of death might invite some unsavory visitors. Mostly ghosts, though thankfully anything nasty is confined to the catacombs. Odin follows her around just like back home, checking on the same things she was checking on, anything a normal bird wouldn't do.
When things check out, Light opens the doors and waits for Sora and others. Visitors will see the god, Odin, and the ostrich from hell milling about the garden. Be careful not to fall into the river and stick to the paths.]
[Closed to Pidge]
[When Pidge wakes up, one of the first thing she should notice is a large white bird watching over her. With a soft 'kweeh' he'll just keep watching her until she responds. Preferably with pats to the head and praises on how handsome he is.
Please notice him, little human.]

He’s super exited to meet the chocobo though. Yuffie used to make jokes that they looked like Cloud's head but never understood that until he had seen the pictures that Lightning had posted. He can defiantly see the resemblances now.]
Lightning?
[He might be a little lost in the giant temple. He wanders a bit before he finds the gardens.]
Hiya!
no subject
Odin lets her know that there's someone nearby with a soft kweh before Sora even makes it to the gardens.]
Took you long enough.

[Really, everyone's temples are massive. Sora likes his little one, but still. He's surprised half of the gods can manage to find their bedrooms.
As soon as his eyes land on the giant bird he grins brightly and bounds over.]
Whoa! It's a real chocobo! He's awesome!
[He'll reach out to touch it, let's see how well that goes.]
no subject
Least I didn't have to send out a rescue party.
[Odin looks to Light first. She shrugs and the chocobo takes that as a sign that this little human can pet him. He lowers his head so it's easier to do so.]
no subject
[He lets out a happy yelp when the chocobo lowers his head. He pets it and finds the feathers super soft under his fingertips. He grins warmly and then ventures to rub his cheek on the chocobo.]
Hey, he likes me!

Hm... Not quite like a creature I've ever seen... [She's talking quietly. Mostly to herself. But hearing her might not be that hard.]

Which changes when Light comes into view and he saunters over to her. She pats his neck before looking over.]
Patchouli? You've seen something similar?

When he gets closer, his eyes go from Lightning to the chocobo to the ostrich, and it's at that where two and two go together.]
So you were the one talking about your ostrich when the vultures got out. [He can't help but look back to the chocobo at that point, though, because it's...pretty eye-catching.] What the hell is that thing, anyway?
no subject
It left eventually. Must have realized there wasn't any food here for it. [Which she was thankful for. It was an ugly bird.]
A chocobo. A bird from my world used as a mount and companion.
no subject
With a faint snort somewhere in the vicinity of amused and dismissive, Shun glances over the gardens.]
Probably not its kind of territory, either. They don't avoid the garden, but they seem to prefer perching around open ground.
[The bird being used as a mount explains the size, though, and he gives an understanding nod.] Sounds useful, at least. It's hard to be that surprised by these kinds of animals when so many people post about getting dragons or whatever the hell back from their world. [And then there's the ones who get back cats.]
no subject
She doesn't mind the fact that the bird left. Open ground was hard to come by around this place, which suited her just fine. Less chance of an aerial attack.]
A dragon? Sounds like a mess to have around. At least Odin here won't breathe fire on anyone who pisses him off. [Just chuck a few Fira spells their way.]
no subject
[Not that it wouldn't be handy to fry enemies, admittedly, but the risk of frying neutral parties seems a little high for it to be worth the trade-off.
The idea of a bird named after a god in a place full of gods draws a faintly amused snort from Shun, and he looks over the bird again briefly before turning his attention back to her.]
Not a name I would've expected in this place, but then, who the hell knows they're going to get sidetracked to a place like this.

Spotting an open area, he came down for a landing, a few feathers scattering from his wings (they would fade and go back to his temple either becoming a part of the pillows or other decorations), and raised his head as he scanned the vegetation. Then he saw the garden and pulled his wings in with the accompanied metallic sound and headed for the group of people and birds.]
no subject
Light raises an eyebrow, heading over to the pair of them.]
Take it you're here to see Odin?
no subject
Yes. Odin, is it? I'm Ankh.
no subject
Seems he likes you. Doesn't happen often.

You can say that I share a bond with most birds.
