A. I’m falling between the cracks

[After the event that affected the Heavens, Lavi has decided to take it upon himself to distance himself from a few people.

So, people would be able to find Lavi at a park, huddled under a tree. He doesn’t seem to be paying attention to anything in particular, but his usual headband is missing and there’s a silver bird clip currently attached to the collar of his shirt. His eye seems to be focused on a book laid out on his lap, lips moving as he reads what’s on the page.

However, the moment he senses someone coming up to him, the book is slammed shut and he eyes the person almost warily.]

B. The Library Goblins

[Thanks to the pulse or whatever it was, one of the first things Lavi’s done after returning to normal is to inspect the library.

Or rather, inspect the area around it.

He frowns a bit, cupping his chin in thought before he turns to the nearest person.]

Have you seen the goblins? [This is. A very important question since Lavi’s become aware of the goblins the moment they had decided to steal the books back.]

[Lavi almost snorts, resorting instead to gently hitting Izuku's head with his book.

A pause.]

Happy belated birthday, by the way.

[fullcowl]

[He laughs when he's hit.]

Thanks. I got to spend the end of it with Todoroki, so I think it went pretty well.

[lostinshadows]

I'm glad to hear it.

[He gives a smile, making a mental note to talk to Hajime later.]

What did you guys end up doing?

Todoroki got cake and watched some old movies.

[He was so content.]

Heh. [The smile shifts into a grin.]

Sounds like a nice date. I'm a little envious.

[fullcowl]

[The only thing that really changed was getting the cake.]

I'm happy as long as we're spending time together.

[This boy is totally smitten.]

Lavi chuckles, grinning wider at him.]

So I'm guessing you two haven't gone all the way yet?

[So did you know Izuku can go luminicent when he's blushing? Because he is.]

Y-You can't just ask things like that!

[No, he didn't know he can go luminescent.

But he definitely can't help but laugh.]

It's only natural to ask!

I'm just teasing you, so relax.

[fullcowl]

[He's just going to bury his face in his arms.

Gah, don't look at him.]

[And Lavi just laughs.]

[Give him like three minutes to pull himself back together.]

Wh-What Todoroki and I do together is our business.

[He smiles slightly, leaning against the tree.]

That's unnecessary information I do not need to know.

I'm glad that we're on the same page about that.

[Another laugh.]

But really, I'm glad that you two are enjoying yourselves with each other. Must be nice to be in love.

[In love...? Yeah. He's in love. It's hard to admit that out loud to Shouto himself though.]

It is. It's... it's pretty amazing. Sometimes I still can't believe he said yes.

[His expression softens.]

You guys definitely have the kind of love people would grow envious of.

[Lavi's not sure if he's jealous of it, but he's genuinely happy for his friend.

He leans forward a bit.]

Maybe you ought to to do something for him, too.

I don't know if I'd go that far...

[But he's completely in love with Shouto.]

Yeah... I just wish I knew what. I know his favorite food and I make that pretty often, so it's not like that's special.

I'd give you ideas, but I'm not very good at the romance department.

Movie night? Or maybe even spend a whole day in Greece and spend an evening there?

... We do movie night pretty often. But a day in Greece sounds pretty good.
