[They've been in this clothing store for ten minutes now, and Jae-Ha is already wondering what he's supposed to do with his own taste in fashion. He can't seem to find any of the long robes he likes, and the pants he's run across are too tight for his liking. He's not even looking at shoes, for some reason, and eventually, he slides over to pinch at the material of a strange looking coat with a collar that's too big.]

I don't think I've seen a single thing I can see myself in. Have you?

[It only took one jacket for Jae-Ha to want to try on everything in the store, huh... Hazel's selection is comparatively smaller and with less variety, since he's already got this jacket, what else does he need? Shirts, mostly... a pair of pants. His little pile is also remarkably grayscale, but it's hard to work with white hair.

Anyway, first point:] Don't start with that now. I'm just a man, same as always.

[He's in a good enough mood to leave it at that, coming over with his weird grayscale pile.] I'm all set.

[Yes, yes, Hazel's just a man, and Jae-Ha's just a monster who's unlucky enough to die and forget everything. He doesn't say any of this, of course, just smiling it off. He knows he's just a man, of course.]

Let's try it all. [Even if it seems Hazel will be showing less than him. From everything he tries on, it's basically zara fashion— except he hasn't taken the boots off even once. No matter the pants, either they fit underneath the legs or he tucks the pant legs in to be able to still wear the boots.]

You haven't chosen anything with color?

[churchbelle]

[Why's he doing that with his boots... Hazel is also wearing boots, to be fair, but his are just black and not so... unique. He doesn't think much of it other than how obvious they look with the pants tucked into them, that's silly.

But yes, all of his clothes are somewhere between black and white, what's the problem??]

Picture my head with a red shirt underneath. [He'd look like a Valentine.] Just for example.

Red is too warm of a color. Try a cool one, like blue, or green.

[Green??? Yeah??? Jae-Ha smiles like he's pleased, smoothing down the blazer he's wearing to glance down at it. Then he looks back over to Hazel.]

Well, but even without color, all of your choices look nice.

[Of course he says green... of course!!]

Sure, sure. [he says, not going to pick out a colorful shirt or colorful anything.] Everythin' fit that ya wanted?

[With those permanent boots???]

For the most part... Some of these pants won't even reach my ankles.

[He can tell, even with the boots. He gestures down at this set in example.] I'm taller than most of the people who seem to live around here...

[Aha... well now it's funny, sorry Jae-Ha.]

Y'know, that might be the point with some of 'em. I don't see how drafty pants are s'posed to appeal, myself, but... [Hazel thinks zara pants look stupid, that's it.]

[Don't be mean, his struggles are very real. This is why he liked the sweatpants that were baggier on the top and were plenty long and tight on his ankles... He'll just need to find more boots.]

That won't do for me... I'll just buy a few that work, I suppose. Ideally, I'll find another store that sells clothing more similar to my own.

[churchbelle]

You'll get there sooner or later. [Pats his shoulder... He could just get some actual sweatpants, but he'd look really odd.] The shirts look good, all the same.

[razzledazzles]

Even from down there, you talk down on me.

[Take that!! He laughs, though, swatting away that shoulder pat as he moves back to the dressing room.] I'm getting most of these. Do you still want to look around?

[churchbelle]

[WHOA.... THAT'S RUDE but he's over it already, because he is an adult and so is mature.]

I think I'm all set with these. I'll have a look around for that blue shirt some other time.

[razzledazzles]

Or green!

[He says while leaning out of the dressing room before disappearing back inside. It always takes him a bit to change thanks to these boots, and him having to fix his hair every time also slows him down. But eventually, he steps out of the room with his collection of accepted clothes.]

I'm ready, ready, ready... What time is it by now? [See?? He's learned to care and ask about time.]

[churchbelle]

[Or green... Yes, yes, he knows Jae-Ha likes green. Very nice. He waves him into the dressing room as he goes back into his own, to go back to being a tiny priest for the rest of this outing. That's fine.]

Close enough to lunchtime to pass. Hungry?

[razzledazzles]

After all of that shopping? Very.

[Plus he needs some food to fuel him through still being awake. He sets his clothing on the counter bit by bit, still touching it so it doesn't appear out of nowhere for the cashier. But before he draws their attention, he asks over his shoulder:] What am I treating you to for lunch?

[churchbelle]

[Hmmm, lunch. What does he want for lunch...]

Y'ever had one of those crepe things with all the fillin'? I've been curious about 'em.

[Let him shuffle up to be in view of the cashier, just so he doesn't have to try as hard to get their attention when Jae-Ha's done with his purchase. Hello, he's here, he is Next.]

Not that I recall, but I know just the place! [He's admired crepes for their beauty before. So, of course the place he has in mind is a very fancy one that makes their crepes gorgeously.]

I'll take us there, then. Excuse me, my dear, hello!

[Now it's time for him to draw attention from the cashier, which he does with constant flirting. His Method... Well, it gets all of his clothing checked out before it's bagged and he's politely rejected. He pays and moves aside for Hazel.]

Anyway, the hard part of shopping. Hazel isn't going to flirt so hard when it's his turn, but he's tiny and charming and apparently just has to smile and talk about absolute nonsense in his Foreign Accent to keep this cashier's attention. This is how he gets through life...

But that's enough of that. He doesn't even end the conversation, really, he just turns away and the cashier blinks before losing interest.]

Well, that's all done. Where's this place of yours?

[razzledazzles]

[Don't end the conversation so rudely, even if she forgets... Jae-Ha will wave goodbye to her, even if she doesn't see.]

It's not too far from here, all things considered. [He switches which hand he's holding his bags with, glancing over.] You don't mind a bit of walking, do you?

[churchbelle]

[Whatever, she's just a cashier... He's rude like this.]

Not if ya don't mind stayin' back here with me instead of speedin' off. [jumping bean...] I don't mind one bit.

[razzledazzles]

I wouldn't just leave you.

[It's nice that he doesn't demand a ride instantly like some people would, not that he can remember most of the ones who would. A walk is nice, from time to time! Here with their lame bags, enjoying each others company... He glances forward again as he thinks on this.]

Besides that, I like this city.

[churchbelle]

Such a gentleman.

[Please... Anyway, he usually walks everywhere, so the only problem this time is he has to carry this bag all day. That's going to suck later, but for now - it's a fine day, they found some fine clothes, and Jae-Ha is fine company! All very nice.]

It's bigger than I thought from takin' that bus ride. I'm admittedly kinda taken aback by just how much city there is.

[razzledazzles]

It feels so much larger than I think to expect! It's very busy, isn't it?

[It is very foreign to Jae-Ha, as well. Even without memories, there's a feel to a city, right? And this seems... much busier than what he's used to.] The buildings are all so tall, I don't recognize a thing. But the people... just watching them go about their days, it's warming, somehow.

[It's too much city, he doesn't like it. His house is too big, the city is too big... can he move to a farm, please.]

Y'think so? All said and done, all the busy folk make me restless.

Well, I do think something a little smaller would be more homey. A nice, tight knit group of people who all know each other... Something like that.

[He's thought about this a lot.] But since we can't be seen very easily, to have that many more people around almost makes up for the loneliness of it.

[Family Values... yes, he loves that small town vibe, not that he can be as open about it because he's a loser.]

Everybody knew everybody in the town I lived in growin' up. It was a real treat, most of the time. If the neighbors weren't houndin' ya for playin' too loud.

[He can be sentimental like this only because he can't come out and say that the small town vibe is why he couldn't bear to stay, oops. So, crepes.]
