You're not a beautiful woman, but if it's what you need, I could speak to you like one.

[Says the guy who was just making out with him, but like, no homo. He's busy teasing, leaning forward to take that cheese-sprinkling wrist and bring it closer to his face, holding his arm tenderly and letting his other hand slide down it.]

Everywhere you go is a spotlight on its own. You're just as stunning— no, more stunning than the night sky itself.

[Ah, see, it sounds so cheesy when he's speaking like he's laying out lines to a girl, though.]

[He's so embarrassing... Hazel honestly doesn't understand what the hell Jae-Ha is talking about until he starts reciting stupid lines like that.

Wow. Surely, this is not what women like?? Jae-Ha...]

Alright, alright, give it a rest. I think I like it better when ya keep it simple.

[Just tell him he's pretty without all the flowery bullshit.]

What a picky guy you are.

[He loves it. It's nice that Hazel loves the more honest admissions and little lines than his exaggerated speaking about beauty. It'd feel a little weird to keep doing that to a guy, anyway, somehow... His mind doesn't make much sense in this way. Women just deserve that sort of treatment, right?

Hazel... Well, Hazel is beautiful, and he'll gladly tell him so plainly. But he also wants to kiss him some more, so this really is complicated. Or it's just as simple as that.

He lets go of Hazel's wrist after a laugh and a simple kiss is pressed to his forearm. Can't be kissing those pizza making hands.]

I was only joking. We're partners, aren't we?

[Kissing his arm... He'll accept it with a small smile, that he is not hiding for once. Back to pizza toppings it is, while he thinks about Jae-Ha's sweet words and how much nicer they really do sound without being dressed up. He's weak to frankness, apparently...]

That we are. I can't help bein' a lil particular about certain things, that's all.

[Now, where is the can opener, so he can make short work of these olives...] Did ya see the can opener?

[What is a can opener?? Something opens cans other than Kija?? No wonder they're sold so often in stores. He blinks around the counter and then pulls open a drawer curiously, pulling out a potato peeler.]

Is it this?

[Oh.

Oh, honey.]

No, I'm afraid not. Give it another try.

[Hmm. He puts that back, shuffling through the drawer some more before pulling out a pasta spoon. Why do they have this...]

[This shouldn't be funny, and yet...]

Does that look like it'll open a can? One more and I'll show ya the secret.

[Then... there's only one choice remaining, because he's only choosing to look in this one drawer! He puts that back, confidently pulling out... a pizza cutter.

He holds it up and stares at Hazel expectantly.]

[HOW would that... open a CAN.....]

Still no, but keep that for later. Let me see. [Hazel will scour the drawers himself for the can opener. To be fair, can openers look like torture devices, so maybe this wasn't as obvious as he thought...]

Watch real closely. [While he opens this can!!]

How was I meant to know that something like that would open a can? Lately, I've been using throwing knives.

[How was he supposed to know a weird shape like that could hook onto the edge... He's still watching with curiosity though.]

I was wonderin' what ya were usin' those for, lately. [Since they sure haven't been going out to kill monsters, or anything. That won't be a problem, ever.

Anyway, behold the Can Opening. Hazel will even throw in a flourish when it's done.] What do ya think?

It looks so useful, I'm mourning all of the cans I've opened without it. Can I see?

[He holds out his hand for the can opener.] You must have enjoyed watching me guess, though. You're cruel, after all...

[throwing knives.... He hands it over, but maybe he'll keep an eye on him so he doesn't somehow can open himself?? It could happen.]

It was kinda entertainin', I can't lie about that.

I'm going to remember that.

[Next time, when he's teasing Hazel mercilessly, he'll use those exact words. For now, he takes the can opener and safely messes around with it. Look at him, staying away from the blades.]

[Why is he just playing with it, is he 5...? What a silly question, of course he is. Hazel can... PROBABLY.... leave him to it, then, and go deal with his olives. Soon he'll realize he has to slice these himself and Regret it.]

Remember my generous honesty? I'll thank ya for that.

[Just make Jae-Ha stop playing with the can opener and slice the olives, that's easy. But... yes. He is playing with it. What's wrong with that? He opens it as far as it can, peering at the little blades with a hum.]

Something like that. Cheese and olives, is that all we're having?

[No, that's so much work.]

Didja want somethin' else? I'll draw the line at peppers, but if there's somethin', add it now.

[Olives, olives... he glances at Jae-Ha, and Disapproves.] Quit playin' with it, it's not a toy.

After you were playing with me over it, I only thought it seemed fitting.

[But fine, he'll put this to the side and go to fetch his idea—] How about some tomatoes? I think that should be enough.

[churchbelle]

[Hazel is still in olive hell, but he has time to be a white boy about this-]

There's already tomatoes. That's the whole sauce.

[God. He stops, turning to look at Hazel in surprise.]

Tomatoes would taste completely different baked on top! I thought the line was only drawn at peppers?

I was just wonderin' what the point was. I guess ya could.

Just a few! They'll taste good, I promise.

[He's putting tomatoes on this damn pizza, it will be great.]
