You know, I don't think I've ever really cared for plants or anything similar, but something about this is almost nostalgic. [Caring for babies is close enough.] No matter how much is going on, it's nice to have something to relax with.

Anyway, "relaxing" isn't how he'd describe this, but he just hums and follows Jae-Ha along to the next flowers. Holding hands is much more relaxing than watering plants, which is work and also pointless?? Hmm.]

I s'pose... Havin' a hobby's good. [Hazel just doesn't have any hobbies that don't frustrate him?? Ah. Anyway, Jae-Ha can water these while he just stands there and watches, cool.]

[He doesn't mean to meet weirdos on the internet, he just likes to talk. ...He was actually thinking about asking the internet for hobby ideas himself. Now he can't. Instead, he leans closer and places a tiny little kiss on his lips.

He's trying to hide it, but now he's worrying...!! Should he actually feel bad for all the times he leaves Hazel to run off? He can't help his nature, he can't sit still, even with how attached he is to one person. They can spend day after day together but at some point Jae-Ha will need to run off and do something else, so... What does Hazel do... Is he actually just lonely??? There's a quickly spiraling train of thought here based on past events and conversations, you see.]

[Oh thank god, he inadvertently saved them both that episode of shame. He'll gladly take this tiny kiss instead of having to screen every hobby idea Jae-Ha comes across for things like safety level and stupidity quotient. Good.

That aside, something he's always wanted to try... Well, it's not as if he had high aspirations as a child, and even the ones he did have were pretty much reduced to nothing without warning and then everything just kept getting worse, so.

He's dead and Hazel isn't. Not only that, but even if he doesn't want to die again at all, he'd do it to assure Hazel's safety.]

He can't answer by saying that Hazel might lose one more thing, and saying anything about what he's already gone through wouldn't help anything, either. There's no good way to answer honestly, and he doesn't have the heart to lie outright, either.

He smiles a little, curling his fingers with Hazel's.]

I'm just worried for you. [That's honest, at least, and hopefully not too insulting.] I can get to be a bit much in a few different ways, so wouldn't it be better to have more you can relax and enjoy?

[He's really too sweet, Hazel should have specified... Sure, sometimes it's lonely when he's left on his own - the two of them together sure are a lot compared to sitting around by himself, and before coming here he'd hardly been out of Gat's company for more than a few hours, if that. But still, this place - in a lot of ways, it's a lot more merciful than wandering around the woods back home.

He squeezes Jae-Ha's hand lightly. Shh, he is okay.]

Lately it seems like the best thing to do when ya aren't around is catch up on sleepin'. [like okay but really,] I'm alright, y'know. If it makes ya feel better, I'll find somethin' to occupy myself every now and then.

[Ugh... He really is going to work his hardest to live, no matter what. He's not like Kija, he won't run recklessly into things and risk his life at every turn, but... He decides to distract himself from this and answer Hazel by leaning down into another kiss. This time, it's deeper, but he still keeps it fairly short.]

He hums thoughtfully, shuffling closer to Jae-Ha after that next kiss and slipping his free arm around his waist. Hold him, thanks.]

[Is he fine... Jae-Ha hopes he's fine, but he'll still worry sometimes over the tiniest things, and also the bigger things. For now, he hooks his own free arm around Hazel's shoulders, holding him close. Hmm.]

I'll count on that. [He hopes he'll never have to get emotional enough to shake Hazel and yell at him in his worry. This little bit of fretting is fine in comparison to how he could lose his cool.] But all of that said, spending time with you happens to be my favorite hobby.

Perhaps I'll focus time just on that after I've watered everything outside.

[Ah- hello. Hazel blinks, leaning in a second later to kiss him because what the fuck that was so cute. Stop!!]

I was thinkin' I'd carry it door to door— 'course I'm gonna do it for ya. Especially now, since I can't resist that face.

[Ah, a kiss... He smiles into it, and it doesn't go away even when Hazel pulls back from it.]

How exciting... Whether I'm allowed to watch as you go, or if I have to wait in another room, my heart is beating faster just thinking that you'd make me something new. [Okay, he's being a little over the top on purpose. A little. He closes the distance for one more kiss before straightening himself and squeezing Hazel that slight bit closer. He wishes every day could be like this one. Lazy, relaxing, having cute fun... No interruptions.]

[Cute... Being this over the top about Hazel watering the flowers was embarrassing, but this is adorable?? He has great priorities. Just being squeezed closer makes his heart flip over and he's glad for it - it's really such a nice feeling, being so happy to just be with Jae-Ha day after day.
