[One of the first thing Lance does, after settling in at Minerva’s temple, is explore the place. He’s sure he’s allowed to - Hifumi won’t mind! And what’s a better way to learn the ropes than to be out there? He wanders through every district, often wearing the distinct armor he woke up with. Sure, he doesn’t know the significance of it, but...it might be a good idea to be protected?

(He has the assumption monsters are common. He might be disappointed, eventually.)

It comes in handy, though, when it comes to exploring the abandoned temples. He clambers up the ruins like a particularly spritely goat, and doesn’t seem to be bothered by all the vines and debris. In fact, if someone runs across him when he’s exploring an old, abandoned temple, they might even hear him laughing like a kid in a candy store.

Otherwise, he’ll just grin and wink at anyone he passes by. Maybe he’ll even throw in a finger gun, if you’re lucky.]

[Guess who’s in Die Jagd? It’s this guy, and he doesn’t look anywhere near impressed with the surroundings.]

That’s definitely fake. You see this, right? [He says to you, fellow patron.] That looks so cheap - there’s no way that’s real!

I like to take walks around the districts. Check out the temples, even the ruins of them.

[ It's a routine; some habits die hard, and Shiro hasn't been able to let go of how he'd had to keep a routine to stop himself from losing it completely when he was in Black. ]

Some things don't change, but it's more that taking a walk every day helps me think.

Something like that. Mostly, it helps me remember how important it is to not take what I have for granted.

Lance laughs, Very Casually leaning against the ruined temple wall.]

Maybe this meeting will be one of those things you shouldn't take for granted - it's once in a lifetime, isn't it?

Shiro raises an eyebrow. ]

[ He's teasing him, if the slight grin he's wearing is any indication. ]

[Lance grins back, raising his eyebrows.]

Of course! I wouldn't be anything less than that.

[ He raises his eyebrows on back. ]

Hmm. I'll have to be the judge of that.

I wouldn't be a very good god if I weren't.

[They're too powerful to be stopped.

But, that gets a curious look from Lance. He's been here long enough to gather a few basics - gods are paired with shinki, and together they fight bad things for the pretty obvious reasons. And he could ask Hifumi what it's like - is pretty sure she wouldn't mind - but...]

Must be nice, being a god. All the devout worshipers and praise and yadda yadda. [He waves a hand.]

Maybe for some.

[ He... won't deny that some people might enjoy that. ]

I'm just happy to be able to help people when they need it. That's all.

[Huh. Lance raises an eyebrow, looking amused.]

So what's the catch? There's gotta be a catch. You can't be super hot and super nice.

I'm a terrible cook. And, honestly, when it comes to more... personal aspects of my life, I'm not exactly the most... competent.
