[They've been in this clothing store for ten minutes now, and Jae-Ha is already wondering what he's supposed to do with his own taste in fashion. He can't seem to find any of the long robes he likes, and the pants he's run across are too tight for his liking. He's not even looking at shoes, for some reason, and eventually, he slides over to pinch at the material of a strange looking coat with a collar that's too big.]

I don't think I've seen a single thing I can see myself in. Have you?

[Hazel meanwhile has wandered into t-shirt territory, where he is collecting a small stack of shirts. He looks up when Jae-Ha returns, immediately looking at the tie instead of how Jae-Ha is so uncomfortable to cover up how he nearly laughs... This poor loser.

He looks so stupid... maybe if he wore real pants!!]

Never ever? What a surprise. [no it isn't] It's been a while, but I could give it a try.

I don't know that it's worth it.

[He says this, but he still passes the tie over. Just in case... He's not sure, all of these shirts in here seem like they'd feel this way on him.] Don't look so pleased that I'm having such a bad time.

Who's pleased? I like the blue, that's all.

[Weird sweatpants, boots, and that shirt?? It's funny! He takes the tie, holding it up in front of Jae-Ha to judge how it would look.

Do ya wanna try, or not? Nobody's forcin' ya to put on a tie.

I might as well learn how to tie one.

[He hunches over since Hazel won't tiptoe for him.]

My beauty is more subtle than that. What about a simple, plain shirt, with a jacket for an accent? Maybe something like that would work.

[Does Jae-Ha want him to try tying this while balancing on his toes? That seems unsafe. Give him a few minutes, he's like, ten years rusty on this...]

Ya had all that in mind and ya still came over to say there was nothin'? You're a strange one.

[Still, they can look for plain shirts... he guesses...

He's still working on the tie.]

I only came up with it now.

[Don't sass him, he's brainstorming. But now he's trying to watch Hazel's hands fumbling with his tie, and it's harder to see than he would have guessed. It's also taking a long time...]

If you can't remember how, you don't have to...

[Don't rush him!! Now he'll do an even worse job, since he's been criticized. Does he look like he's worn a tie since ever? He knows how to do this though, he does...!

In like, two more minutes. Really.] They sure don't make 'em like they used to.

[He's struggling so much, it almost makes up for how lame he feels in this shirt. Jae-Ha smiles pleasantly. His back hurts, like this.]

I'm sure they're very different. At least I don't feel ashamed not being able to tie it myself.

[This tie deserves to be taken out back and strangled, ugh. Hazel struggles with it for the home stretch, and finally, it is something resembling a tied tie. But kind of lumpy and crooked.

He looks at it for a beat, then reaches forward again to start untying it. Never mind.]

Forget about the tie. Y'want a jacket? We'll look at jackets.

[This is a great, fun time now. Even if he doesn't find anything he likes, this is hilarious.]

Jackets it is! Let's have a look. [He reaches up to finish untying the tie, shooing Hazel's hands away.]

[He is ashamed of his tie failure... This is why he picked out a bolo tie, they're very simple. He makes a face, displeased with the Tie Incident, then turns to pick up his little t-shirt pile first before scanning the store for jackets.]

If you're not gettin' the shirt, go take it off. Ya look powerfully ridiculous in the shirt-and-boots combo.

[Just saying. The sweatpants are also silly.]

How harsh. I didn't choose this shirt...

[And there's nothing wrong with his boots? He takes the tie back and heads back to the dressing room to take the shirt off. By the time he comes back out, he hopes Hazel has found something interesting and fitting.]

It wasn't very comfortable, either.

[It's the boots, the boots... Hazel will meet him at the sensible shirts and jackets part of the store, where he's picked up one sensible (boring) shirt and one normal jacket. It's still not a knee-length robe.]

The shirt looked just fine. Here, this's next.

[What the fuck is wrong with his boots?? These look normal at least, so he reaches out to take them with more of a welcoming smile.]

Ohh, these are different from your earlier picks. Let's see, let's see... Don't forget to model a few for me, in turn.

[He wants to see Hazel in actual clothing. Anyway, he goes into the dressing room and comes out again with this combo on. Still... not a knee length robe, yes, but... More tolerable than that other shirt.]

Is this really what people wear?

[Wow, let him pick out some more white t-shirts first, thirsty. He waves that off as Jae-Ha disappears into the dressing room again. Back to browsing some jackets until he comes back!

...And there he is - the sweats still look a little off, with the rest, but-] Haven't ya been around enough folk by now to know? [Anyway, looking him up and down, ignoring the sweats...] It's a good look for ya.

[Very nice. Look at this leather jacket he just picked up, also.]

[So he's beautiful and not laugh-worthy in this? Okay, he'll take them. Not wanting to run immediately back to the dressing room just yet, he uses this time to lean forward and touch at this leather jacket.]

What's this here? It's a nice material. [Leather, how fancy.]

[It's super nice, isn't it? He'll look really cool.]

Ain't it? It's the smallest one they've got. [why is he this short] Here's hopin'.

[Jae-Ha can model his invisible self out here while Hazel sidles past to duck into a dressing room, this time. The leather jacket and t-shirt combo is going to be great, just wait a minute. He comes out soon after, apparently already in love with this jacket from how he turns to show it off.]

[Well he can't tsun and say it's okay or Hazel will pout, so when Jae-Ha turns around to witness it, he'll be more open.]

It suits you. And more than I thought it would, actually. [He's down for the leather jacket.] Is that your true style?

[Hazel has never pouted in his whole life, shut up. He holds his arms out at his sides, looking down to admire himself. Yeah, he looks so great!!]

Could be! [he's been dressed like a priest for ten years.] It's lighter'n the usual getup. That dusty old thing gets caught on everythin', y'know?

[He's going to marry this jacket......]

That could be true... Flowing clothing is nice, but not for all cases. [...He does look really good, though!! Jae-Ha encourages this, and now he's turning back to the clothing racks.]

Now that you've found something so fitting, I can't help but think there must be something for me, as well! [Because they're the same Age, right???]

Let's gather a bunch all at once to try on.

[Oh, he's into it now... That's cute. Hazel's double success with these randomly selected jackets has renewed his Shopping Confidence after fumbling the tie, so he'll join Jae-Ha to point at a few things that might work.]

Y'wasted all that time complainin' nothin' looked good earlier. How are ya feelin' now?

[He teases... ruining his cute image with lines like this. Still, as he slides by Hazel to check out more clothing, he pauses just enough to mess up some of his hair in the front. Nice.]

With your hair down like that, in that jacket, it gives you something of a bad boy look.

Y'like green. [He'll defend his first choice, even though it was too weird for him to ever consider wearing. Messing up his hair like that makes him blink at Jae-Ha as he slides past, like that was a genuine surprise... but he's reaching up to push his hair out of his face a little afterwards, anyway. Stop...]

That ain't an appropriate look for a man of God. [He's already a quitter though, so he doesn't mind.]
