[Ahhhhhhhhhh... Now he's got to deal with Hazel pulling away and the realization of how fast his heart is really pounding. The distance between them is too much, now, and he wants to close it already. But these are things they should step into carefully, regardless of how much he does what he wants. If they're too heated too fast, then it could just burn out.

Besides, he'd rather enjoy this excitement.

Standing up from the couch, he takes a moment to brush off his clothes like they weren't just wrinkled by Hazel crawling into his lap. Then, smiling over at him, he brushes his fingers through his own hair to fix the tangles left behind and heads off towards the kitchen.]

I was reading some recipes on the internet, since I only seem to remember things that don't seem so popular here. [And things that are cooked over an open campfire, but details.] We might have enough to try something from one of those.

[Japan has some weird ass pizzas, but luckily they have fairly normal ingredients laying around the house.]

[He needs to pull up the internet again. He probably has each and every tab he's ever opened still up, so his phone takes forever to start up, but he's still going to manually search "How do I make pizza?" on google.]

[Okay, where is the flour... he'll grab it and bring it over to the counter.]

Flour's here— What are ya doin'? [What's wrong with this phone... Why is it such a disaster??]

I'm trying to find the recipe I'd found before. It runs a little slow...

[He's innocent... Actually some of these are getting too embarrassing, so he'll casually close a bunch of tabs without looking and then hold the phone out. He is holding it by the corner, like he might drop it. Isn't he great??]

How was I supposed to know they were there? [How do phones work!! This is a rare moment where he feels shame, now how is he supposed to make pizza?]

[Right, yes, let him just move on now that he's been utterly destroyed by embarrassment. What the fuck. Normally he has no shame, this is horrible... He slides his phone away into his pocket and reluctantly turns back to Hazel and the ingredients.]
