What: Information and Training

Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods and shinki

Gods and shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided to the Meeting Hall, where a traditionally styled dojo and training ground have been made available for the day. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the details of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.

God Training
- Newly arrived gods are escorted into what looks like an old, large warehouse behind the Meeting Hall for an informational meeting covering the basics of proper god behavior. Several chairs have been moved in, but they're squeezed together between packed shelves and boxes of old ritual clothing, scrolls and rusty or chipped household goods. A minor deity is giving the speech, and none of the white-robed shinki enter. They are encouraged to discuss the information with each other and ask questions of more experienced gods, as well as instructed to guide their new shinki appropriately.
Shinki Training
- Various shinki in the white-and-gold of Amaterasu's hosuehold are stationed around the dojo, passing out helpful informational pamphlets. They will be happy to instruct the newcomers in the use of the borderline as well as offering an explanation of what is expected of a shinki and the importance of teamwork with other shinki and with gods. Shinki are encouraged to work together to practice what they've learned and discuss their perspectives.
Back copies of the "From Ama" magazine, including puff pieces about new or rising gods or successful shinki, advice columns for resolving problems between gods and shinki, temple photographs and other articles of interest to gods and shinki, have been brought out in boxes and piled up next to a table holding a few remaining copies of the shinki questionnaire for any new shinki who want to keep one around until they can answer the included questions.
- What is your name?
What is your god's name?
How do you see your duties as a shinki?
What is your favorite part of life with your god?
What is your least favorite part of life with your god?
What advice would you like to give your god?
Do you wish to be assigned to a different god? []Y []N
Physical Training
- The dojo is stocked with a wide variety of practice weapons, traditional and modern, to offer some practice opportunity to gods who, for example, find themselves with a sword shinki but are at risk of cutting off their own toes. It's also useful for veteran new gods wishing to train with their current partner shinki. Several magically animated straw-stuffed training dummies, many of which have been carefully mended and patched with neat black stitching, are set up on the lawn with a white-robed shinki hovering nearby to watch over them. They make good training partners, although anyone who comes too close risks being targeted for a sparring match whether they wanted one or not.
The white-robed shinki are still busy cleaning and preparing the Meeting Hall for the big annual meeting of the gods. They'll recruit anyone who looks as though they're not too busy in order to help scrub floors, weed, sweep paths and walkways, and shoo away any unwelcome little spirits that are hiding away in dark corners of the hall. Heavy lifting is good exercise... right?
Rest and Refreshments
- There are casks of fresh, cold water near the dojo to make sure no one gets dehydrated, but for those who've finished working, hot tea and enough seasonal treats are available to make it look as though the Heavens bought out an entire sweet shop. They're being distributed by a few shinki in indigo-blue and plain brown robes with the sleeves tied back, who aren't above teasing the newcomers a bit.
Young shinki are playing in the nicely manicured garden, trying to catch crayfish at the lake edge, dashing around playing tag and hide-and-seek. Just be careful you don't get caught in the middle of a game of "Kagome"! If you do, you'll really be stuck until you guess someone's name.

In Summary:
- Get all the information you can handle
- Veteran new gods and shinki are welcome to volunteer showing the ropes
- Get in some training
- Enjoy a traditional tea
- Spectate if you want
- Have fun~

[Though Kaden has obtained his shinki informational pamphlet, the full spectrum of what is going on still needs some time to process. Half of the information in the pamphlet doesn't make much sense, though it probably will after a while, but for right now he just wants to explore. Whenever his god finds him, he can ask about the things he doesn't understand.
The sound of practice swords hitting each other makes something in the back of his mind tickle and tease at remembering, but exactly what it is, he can't say. Still, the noise draws him in, and before he knows it he's... stuck sweeping one of the outer walkways, because one of the white-robed shinki had saved him from one of the magically automated training dummies that he'd got a little too close to, and helping out with the chores just seemed to be the right thing to do in return.
At least he looks pleased with what he's doing, if the gentle bob back and forth of his big, fluffy tail is any indication.]
ii. rest & refreshments
[A nice, cold glass of water is just what Kaden needs after sweeping out the walkways of the dojo, but following his nose towards the refreshments has proven to be a bit of a distraction. Before he could even set his sights on food, he'd noticed the children - more shinki? - playing in the garden, and upon closer inspection, realized that they were trying to catch something in the water.
As it stands currently, he still hasn't retrieved his glass of water, but he's kneeling at the edge of the lake with a handful of young shinki on either side, tail waving happily behind him.]
If you really want to catch one, you've got to do it right! Let me show you how it's done! Watch carefully, okay?
iii. wildcard
[Want something else? Hit me up!]
iii. wildcard-ish?
She checked the time on her phone. It was getting late..possibly the tail end of the training, but there may still be people there. Barry's baleful voice echoed in her head.
There's nothing for you there. Why bother?
But that was it. She had nothing to lose anyway. Not anymore. He was either there or not.
By the time she arrives at the temple, it was late into the afternoon. There's a moment of hesitation before she enters, looking around for the giant reptile. Something does catch her eye-- a tail-- but not the scaly one she was expecting. Smaller too. And...fluffy? There was a broom in his hand, but he didn't look like the other robed shinki.]
Um..excuse me. Have you seen..a dragon..around here?

physical training
She's tending some anonymous shinki who'd gotten herself knocked back by a particularly aggressive training dummy. It's easier to carry her healing staff than it is to carry an entire first aid kit. When she's finished, she sends the shinki off with some advice to be more careful and she gets ready to go about her usual observations.
But there's someone who isn't training and... Sakura goes quiet when she sees an all too familiar fluff of fur. It brings memories of warm afternoons and pleasant naps and... why is he here? She looks away (hopefully before he notices!) and begins to fret. Was he a god like her? Or... but how? How could he die? He couldn't have died? That doesn't make any sense to her. Lost in her thoughts, she barely realizes the shinki she's just healed has gone to get their revenge against her training partner. She barely recognizes what whack, whack, crack of a training dummy being broken apart. A dummy's head rolls right at her feet and well, with her gaze down at the ground and not paying attention...
Sakura let's out a loud shriek and jumps back, )
Eek!
( Now she's falling backward and all flustered and-- this is so embarrassing. )

It's a little bit hard when the next bit of the corridor is substantially taken up by someone's big, fluffy tail, though. It doesn't look familiar, which only lends to the rather flat look Shun gives the tail and whoever's attached to it.]

[ Ranulf didn't look very pleased being here. It didn't help his nose was filled with the musty old smell of all these things crammed in the room. He knew beorc liked keeping mementos but one would think they would clean them more regularly.
As Ranulf began to leave with the rest of the 'gods', he still didn't seem to buy it. Did everyone else here believe it? Only one way to find out.
So with a toothy grin and a friendly face, he approaches someone, his tail slowly swaying behind him. ]
Ah, my apologies. But may I have a moment of your time?
Physical Training
Whoa!
[ Ranulf dodges as he hears something coming towards him. It sounded awfully like a sword swinging in the air. He missed it just in time to spot where that came from. He blinked as he saw this..dummy? He had seen beorc use those in their training, but never a moving one.
He raised his hands to make peace. ]
I've no quarrel with you, I don't wish to, h-hey!
[ The dummy was not taking no for an answer as it swiped at Ranulf once more. The laguz blocked it, wincing as it stung his arm. He frowned, he wasn't getting anywhere with this thing. If that was the case...He sighed. ]
I warned you.
[ It wasn't long before the man disappeared and large blue cat appeared in his place. Before the dummy had another chance to strike, the cat leapt at it, kicking it first, then sank his teeth into it's head, tearing it off with a quick rip. After he plopped the head to the ground he changed back, curiously staring at the scarecrow. ]
What a strange contraption...
[ His moment of peace doesn't last long as he hears a shout of anger from behind him. Someone was not happy he destroyed the little dummy. Ranulf could only smile sheepishly to the shinki as he apologized.
The least he can do is weed the garden, right? ]
Rest and Refreshments
From going to defeat a goddess to becoming a god...Is this some kind of punishment? Man this just hasn't been my day.
[ Ranulf sighed from under a tree he picked out, some water and strange looking sweets beside him. He tried to stay away from all the beorc, just being respectful and keeping his distance. Who knew how they would react and being in such a foreign land, he'd rather not take any chances.
He sniffed the air again and slumped. No one smelt familiar or even looked familiar so he was a little down. It was almost strange hearing so much bustling and life around him. Not too long ago he was standing in a world of statues and a select few trying to save their world.
But, enough of that. He was hungry, working up a small appetite from the weed pulling he picked up a box of those sweet that had been offered to him and stared questionably at it, giving it a sniff. ]
Are these really edible?
Wildcard
[ Anything else \o/ ]
Physical Training
What Kieth is pretty sure he's never seen before is someone straight-up turning into a giant blue cat in order to fend off one of the training dummies.]
That was... uh. Probably more force than you needed to use on one of these things.
[Giant blue cat... Incredible.]

[ Out of all the places to end up again, or a place almost like. Aqua isn't surprised at the information being given about being gods and gaining followers, what really is getting to her is the fact she has almost no followers now, no vast following that enjoys being part of the Axis church. ]
Why do I have to start over again? I wasn't causing trouble at all before, blame Kazuma!
2. Physical Training
[ Beating the crap out of targets will make things better clearly. Aqua has a wooden staff in hand and is ready to hit anyone that gets in her way. ]
3. R&R
[ One does not turn down free food, that being said Aqua has a face full of various snacks not even bothering to eat things one by one like a normal person. ]
There isn't a catch to this or anything right?
[ Beware the crumbs now flying out of Aqua's mouth. ]
God Training
[Kanata, who has been sitting in the chair next to hers, gives Aqua a gentle pat on the back. To a lesser extent, he's in the same boat as her. Though he personally doesn't morn the loss of his household's followers.]
Fresh starts are a "good thing". Why not think of this as an opportunity to "reinvent" yourself?

[Suzaku had followed the instructions and arrived at the dojo. He seemed outwardly calm and he politely thanked the white robed Shinki who handed him the informational pamphlet.
Welcome to Heaven. So he was dead. He didn't seem to feel upset about that, he couldn't remember anything but that seemed alright as well and indeed he took note of the warning in the brochure about being careful about memories, it seemed he had none for a reason.
There was a lot of information to take in at once and Suzaku took his time reading it, reading it over again to make sure that he had understood it properly. He was to serve a god, they were to answer prayers that might involve killing Ayakashi.
He was soon drawn into practicing borderlines, it seemed like it was an important skill and one that took a lot of practice. He did as instructed and concentrated on lines to keep out what was not wanted.]
Physical Training
[Apparently he counted at looking not too busy because he had not long stopped the borderline practicing when he was recruited to help clean up. He didn't mind, a big annual meeting of gods sounded important. So he was scrubbing floors diligently.
He definitely wasn't the only one and he smiled politely at those he was working beside. If they seemed like they were up for talking he would offer a greeting.] Hello
Rest and Refreshment
[Finally he had finished scrubbing floors. He stood watching everyone as he drank his water. He was dressed in a very tight fitting suit, there was an earpiece in his ear still mostly because the suit had nothing in the way of pockets. So he held the information pamphlet and a gun in one hand.
He was waiting, just as the pamphlet had told him. He thought he had taken in all the information though parts of it seemed strange. Everything seemed strange but it was reassuring to see everyone here being relaxed. The young Shinki playing and catching crayfish.
He is quiet but seems interested, watching people and he even takes a sweet when it is offered.]
Shinki Training
And on her first day, when she was practicing borderlines, someone had come by to help out. So as Suzaku sets up a borderline, Ginia slashes her hand in the same motion, sending a borderline attack aimed directly at his barrier and watching to see what he does.]

[Kairi will open up with several options for your character as far as training goes, based on her previous experiences:
Regardless of the style you go with, she's absolutely looking for where she can improve, and will likewise give constructive criticism back!]
BETA - Observations for Shinki Pamphlet Beta (Shinki Training/Rest and Refreshments)
[Kairi is dutifully walking around at various times, looking and listening for people who are reading the current pamphlet and trying to see if there are any patterns for parts that are missing. She has a little notepad in hand and a pencil that she's tapping to her mouth, sometimes even placing it behind her ear.
... Part of her hopes that by mimicking Izuku's habit of writing down notes, that she'll do a better job of continuing his work. Others are free to notice this mimicry on her part, especially if they knew Izuku - the former Aidos. Sometimes she can even be found reviewing the notes she DOES have already at a bench while sipping water and snacking.]
GAMMA - Only one way forward! (Physical Training)
[Kairi learned early on that training with gods and other shinki in ways that weren't unique to shinki would improve her overall abilities as a vessel and while out of vessel form. You can find her in lots of ways doing physical training!
All that and whatever else your character can suggest to her! She's newest as keyblade, so is favoring that for training.]
DELTA - A Strange Friend
[Kairi has a shadow most of the day in the form of a Soulless Shinki she calls Joy, and who she often speaks to the way one would a good friend, refusing to treat Joy like a mute servant. Joy is the same Soulless Shinki that Roxas named and lived at the Baldr-Artemis joint temple, if anyone ever met her before. There are certain moments where Kairi looks around nervously as if debating saying something to Joy, then stopping again before she returns to training on her own.]
b
[Chikusa might not have been particularly friendly with Izuku, but he has been watching Kairi for a little while now as she wanders around with her notepad. He can understand taking notes on new people.... but he hadn't figured she was the same kind of person.]

[The pamphlet had been... a bit much. Ryoma was a clever enough man--he certainly understood words, but the actual meanings behind certain things described in the 'helpful literature' had created as many questions as they'd sought to answer. Still, Ryoma had accepted the papers dutifully, walking the dojo and the training grounds with the intention to... observe.
This initial course of action was a bit derailed when Ryoma found his way to the training yard--some of the weapons were unfamiliar in their make and their mettle, but there were others that made sense even though Ryoma couldn't exactly say why. He practiced for a while with a katana, meeting a training dummy blow for blow with a muscle-deep ease that was thankfully easy to focus on (with a very, very careful sense to not damage the dummy overmuch, as the hawk-eyed overseer had seemed a touch miffed when Ryoma followed on a lunge with his blade and nearly spelled the end of his partner.)
... and if a large, serious man in red armor with a live weapon was a touch too intimidating, it wouldn't be long before he ceded the training dummy to the next person and found himself recruited into the chore team. He faced the duty of picking stray weeds from the garden with the same somber, intense focus that he'd used on the dummy and the pamphlet before it. His face was a bit stuck that way, in all truth.]
ii. r & r
[Work hard, play... not much at all, really?
Ryoma wasn't much for games himself, though he wouldn't begrudge anyone who found themselves drawn into the childrens' play--their laughter and happiness was contagious, and a keen eye might catch something that could almost be called a smile on Ryoma's usually serious face as he guzzled water in as dignified a manner as he could manage. Chore team was not messing around. Trifle not with chore team.
Ryoma still had a weed he hadn't quite detected resting atop his glorious mane of hair.]

All of that hair is catching his attention in his momentary break from fishing up crayfish, though. Particularly the one weed sticking out of the top. His fingers are itching to pick it out, but itching even more to... find a brush and help tame that wild mane? Hmm.
For now, he's sticking to picking out the weed. Or trying, anyway. There will be an attempt.]

[Dokugakuji doesn't remember nearly all of his life in the Far Shore prior to his death. He has one memory, an argument with Gojyo, so he does know that something was going on, leading him towards Add's temple... and then a blank. It doesn't sit well with him at all, the longer he's had to think about it over the last 10 days since returning. He's hoping that jogging his memory by listening to these God Training messages again, by training with his shinki, that sort of thing will help him remember what happened.
He's a bit over-serious today, glancing this way and that for anything that will be a clue to this mystery - including other people talking about the recent events that sound like the foes he was attacking in his single memory. He also hasn't spent any time looking at his phone, since he's back to not being accustomed to technology of that sort. He classifies it alongside Ni Jienyi, the doctor who did atrocious things to his prince.]
Physical Training: Back to basics
[This one's easy for someone like Dokugakuji. It's just like being back at Kougaiji's castle, he thinks. His over-six-foot frame towers over others and he is strangely unworried about concealing his youkai identity. Everyone so far has just assumed it's something that came along with him being a god. Doku meanwhile blames that on the new scar he's sporting on one arm that, near as he can figure, loosely resembles some flames but nothing more.
Meanwhile, he can brawl with you hand-to-hand, or he can pick up a practice sword to go against you. If you're feeling frisky, he can even use one of his Soulless Shinki that turns into a sword: he's a tall man with one eye sealed shut, over which is his shinki name.]

[Yoon is definitely not in the mood for training. Yona's been asleep for awhile and it's starting to worry him. The only reason he's even here - he tells himself - is to make sure there's no shinki that might have gotten assigned to her even while she slept. As a result, they wouldn't know where to go with her asleep.
... Then there's the fact that he hasn't left her temple much lately. So he's restless, even if he won't admit it.
That's why Yoon spends so much of his time around the Refreshments area, trying to blend in as one of Amaterasu's shinki and just busy himself refilling drinks and snacks. He justifies this as well that any wandering shinki without a god may eventually land near the refreshments and gripe loudly enough about it for him to hear.]
God/Shinki Training
[If you have a compelling argument, you can drag Yoon away from his mother-henning to get some actual training in. Some characters may even be able to physically drag him away, since he's pretty small. That may not convince him to spar, but he's tentatively been working on his first shinki spell between other lessons (at Hakkai's school to bring him up to speed on current knowledge), teaching cooking not just being good at it (for Goten), and Sign Language (with Lav).]
R&R
Hey. You look like you could use a break.
[But, a break from what? Yoon's not really the fighting type, so there's gotta be something on his mind wearing him down, right?]

[Mirei is absolutely the kind of person who will sit still, quiet and attentive through an informational lecture. She is the kind of person who will take copious notes. She is also the person who has collected absolutely all of the supplementary material, even the glossy magazines and the informational leaflets that are actually intended for - the term is still unfamiliar - for the shinki. She has even abstracted a copy of the questionnaire. If one is about to be graded, it always helps to know the criteria.
[She isn't quite certain, yet, what she makes of all this: that will need a little time and a lot of wider reading. She sees no reason to disbelieve it, unbelievable though it all sounds, when this is far too much effort to put into a practical joke. For now, Mirei simply listens and makes notes - and, when the lecture has finished, she decides to take the lecturer's advice and, many heads being better than one, canvass for opinions amongst her fellow - well, fellow Gods, she supposes. How strange some of these people look.
[There is a very self-possessed fourteen-year-old in here, and she is Bent on Discovery.]
Excuse me. I'm sorry to trouble you, but - may I ask what you made of all this?
ii. rest and refreshments
[Mirei may be at home in a lecture hall, but some things it is far better to leave to Mirei.
[It's a little funny to find out she can PriPara Change without PriPara, but nowhere near as strange as not being able to change at all. It's still something to be done in private, though, and once she's left the lecture hall Mirei slips away to change into something more suitable.
[She steers clear of the physical training for now. In good shape she may be but singing and dancing is no preparation for wielding a sword, and in nothing more suitable than her gaily-colored casual coord, she thinks she might stand out there more than she wants to right now. That she can come back to. A girl like Mirei looks so much more natural by the tea table with - what else? - half the contents of a candy shop. And, when it comes to making friends, any time is the best.
[Stray too near the tea table and you might just find yourself being smiled at by a fluffy blonde with a kitty-eared hairdo, and a curious look in her eyes.]
Oh, hi there, I'm new~! Do you like music, pri?

I. shinki training
His first stop is Amaterasu's shinki and the information table. He's collected quite a few paper bits, including a few photos, an information pamphlet, and a copy of the questionnaire, even though he's not sure if he actually has to fill out the latter since he doesn't have a god. To his knowledge, anyway.]
Do I need to turn this in if it's not completely filled out?
[II. physical training
He hadn't intended to fight the dummies; he had simply wandered too close to one of them and nearly wound up with a faceful of wooden sword. He did end up with a faceful of straw arm a couple seconds later, before he managed to stagger far enough away and grab a discarded staff.
He'll fight this animated dummy...and hopefully no one saw it essentially clothesline him.
III. choose your own adventure!
Maybe you've spotted Tadashi and recognize him? Maybe he's accidentally bumped into you while trying to figure out what's up with everything here. Feel free to make something up.]
I
I don't think so. They were very insistent about all the gods filling them out...but shinki are fine not to, as far as I know.

[ There is only one empty-ish corner in this overcrowded space, and it's being occupied by someone who saw fit to bring a large, fully upholstered armchair to this event and make use of it despite the close quarters.
She listens to the introductory speech, occasionally pulling a judgmental face or a knowing smirk. By the end of the talk, however, she's grown bored and is reading a script for something called Six-Shot Sheriff II: The Seventh Shot.
This reading continues even after the meeting has concluded and everyone is being ushered away. All attempts to catch her attention have ended in failure. She is camped in this corner. Taking up too much space.
The shinki trying to get her to move seem at their wits' end.... ]
[ Physical Training ]
[ Someone has moved Hibiki's chair out of the meeting room - but now she's in this hallway, and everyone is having to clean around her. She doesn't seem to care. In fact, she has added a small round red rug with gold tassel fringe and a side table upon which to rest a saucer of hot cocoa, thick and rich with a glittery spun-sugar rose on top. It's getting cold outside.
The chair has been set up indoors, yes, but with a window nearby that permits a view of the training lawn. Hibiki peers out said window, nursing her chocolat chaud. Vastly superior to being out in the chill, this. And there's no way anyone would possibly disturb her...
Except something's prickling the back of her neck. ]
Skulkling around bends isn't smart.
[ The bird spirit that'd been observing Hibiki panics and, with a squawk, turns to try and flee. Except there was someone trying to work right where it's making its exit.
Gangway! Bird in the face! Hibiki around the corner, not caring! ]
[ Rest and Refreshments ]
[ Hibiki sighs as the bird spirit wraps a heavy scarf around her neck, offsetting the starkness of her dark sweater. That's....surprisingly convenient. ] How much weight can you carry?
[ The bird twits off to show off. Hibiki watches, then turns to go. Ridiculous. She doesn't need such a -
"Who is behind you now?"
A child shinki pauses and points. "I know her! She threw a party! God Apollo!" ]

[Lancer likes to come to practice fighting and to learn new skills. He did not come prepared to fill out forms and hand them into someone. Particularly not about his skills as a shinki.
Which he still feels are lacking.
He didn't get this previously, so he'll be blinking at it and scratching his head slowly.]
...Excuse me. May I ask you something?
Physical Training
[Now that the stuff he doesn't want to do is officially done, he'll be moving on to working at training. In the middle of one of the fields, he stands with two spears, one in each hand. Looking towards anyone who is walking closely, he smiles at them and bows his head.]
Please practice with me.
[He's eager to learn with more and more people, and he won't let up until he knows as much as possible.]
I promise not to let you down!

sparring
He snatches at whatever's gotten the drop on him, dragging it away from his hooded head... Only to find cloth, and nothing more. It doesn't seem particularly threatening in his gloved hands, and yet that wariness doesn't leave him in the slightest]

[There stands in the middle of one corridor a figure dressed in black from head to toe. Not an inch of skin to be seen, it might be natural to question whether there is anything under his coat at all, given that all one can see inside his hood is pitch black. Whether this figure has eyes to see or not, he holds between gloved hands one of the many questionnaires that have been distributed.
And he watches it for far longer than is necessary to actually read it, in stony silence. Upon close observation it's questionable whether this boy is even breathing, for the stark stillness of his frame. A passerby or observer might, eventually, be privy to a sigh and a helpless shrug of his shoulders]
What is my favorite part of life with my god...?
[Really, if his purpose is to serve a god, then how he feels about them doesn't really seem relevant. And to that end, he balls up the paper and glances around for somewhere to dispose of it]
Not like that'd matter, anyway.
II. Flying Solo
[Rather than train alongside other shinki, Roxas decides simply to observe from a distance. He gathers what information he can from hanging around the periphery of the dojo, skirting as far from others as he can. It isn't that he imagines himself to have a problem with those present, or even approaching them, but something seems... off about it, in a way he can't pin down.
So he observes others receiving instructions about how to use borderlines instead, and aims to emulate what he sees. Except when he tries, pointing his finger at the floor, he gets a spark of electricity instead and jumps, hooded head whipping around in search of the source.
What was that just now?]
III. Rest Stop
[Eventually Roxas' day of productive lurking comes to a close, or so it seems to him when he's given some snacks. At least this is one thing that strikes him as intuitive enough. He finds a quiet place and sets down his small plate beside him, picking up one colorful piece of candy and bringing it to the opening of his hood. And there it vanishes into that black void.
This is a process that repeats itself several times over. Whether there's a face in there or not, it certainly seems that he's eating, albeit just how remains a mystery. Whatever the case may be, he's putting those sweets away quickly enough to suggest that he's either in a hurry or has taken a liking to them]
IV. Wildcard
[Got other ideas for this little lurker? Throw them this way]
3
He floats over, a small tray of mochi on his hovering pendulum, and sits down next to him. Though it would be more accurate to say that he sinks down instead, letting the lower half of his body dissolve into a black mist.
Roxas' way of eating doesn't seem out of place to him, so he would float the tray a little over to between both of them.

[Considering he only picked up the weapon recently, Shun is still not incredibly proficient with a polearm - he knows what he's doing in general, but he doesn't have the same longstanding familiarity with the weapon and natural flow with it that someone who's used it longer might.
He has, however, chosen today to branch out a little in terms of what he's been doing with it, in a back corner of the dojo that's mostly empty but still pretty visible. One could almost mistake the whole thing for pole vault from a distance, because the majority of what he's doing is finding various methods of planting the weapon into the ground and using it as a boost to leap, spin, or otherwise perform some fairly impressive acrobatics (which he's quite clearly much more familiar with than the weapon itself). He also tries to chain attacks off the moves - boosting up into a leap so he can swing the weapon down, using a spin to build up a little more power to spin the weapon with as a follow-through, and similar sorts of things.
He's the type to assume that if someone's going to walk into a sparring area they're prepared to get hit, though, so if anyone comes too near, he'll be finishing his last move before he turns his attention to them properly...which may involve either swinging or slamming down the end of a practice naginata in their general direction. He's not trying to hit anyone, but at least it's dodging practice if he gets too close.]
--
[B: Physical Training II(...?)]
[The disadvantage of the Meeting Hall clear-out is that some of the spirits are creeping into other areas that are less significant for the upcoming meeting. Like, say, the dojo. The weapons racks are usually a useful resource that Shun takes full advantage of, but it's made a little bit harder when one pulls out a spear from the rack to look it over and a stubbornly clinging nekomata comes with it.
After a moment or two of ineffectual shaking of the weapon, Shun just gives the sprit cat a lengthy glare as he offers the end of the weapon to whoever happens to be nearest.]
Get it off. [The length of the shaft is a bit more than his arm's length, so he can't really hold it and get the nekomata off at the same time.]
--
[C: Rest and Refreshments]
[While Shun isn't going anywhere near the Meeting Hall preparations even when he's on break, some of the animal spirits that have been cleared out are still hanging around the outside areas. This includes a not-insignificant amount of bird spirits, many of which are sitting in a cluster a little way off from the food area. They're a mixed group, mostly smaller birds; there's sparrows, starlings, finches and wrens among them, but there's smaller numbers of some other species hovering around as well.
The cause of their clustering is the fact that someone's sitting in the middle of said cluster with a small pile of seasonal fruit and a dagger, cutting little bits off and flicking them out for the birds. Shun, as usual, doesn't look like he has any particular interest in the task, but he does look somewhat more at ease than he usually does, and there's a surprising lack of reaction from him when any of the birds try jumping up onto his legs or even his arms for more fruit.
His hackles go up more typically if he notices anyone approaching, though it's significantly less so if it's someone he's familiar with. Then again, he did kind of figure the cacophonous cheeping would draw some attention.]
Don't scare them off. [It's said somewhat sharply, as if he's expecting at least one person to be an idiot and just try running through the middle of the group.]
--
[D: Wild/Sparring]
[As always, Shun is available to spar with varying levels of skill in hand-to-hand, knife fighting, swordplay, polearms and tessen, as well as instructing people on how to acrobatics.]
C
After a minute of silent observation, she lightly waves her hand to get his attention.]

[ It's been a few weeks since Nanako's poked her head out of her temple and made an attempt to be social. The loss of her brother and Homura had hit her hard, enough that the little girl had almost entirely vanished from her typical haunts, despite her wish not to worry her friends too much. That wish still persists, which is why she'd ventured out today, but her manner is still on the unusually shy and quiet side, as if suddenly finding herself here in the Heavens alone has shaken some of the easy cheerfulness she'd had since arriving so many months ago.
But her expression is determined too as she slips into the Training Dojo and looks around. It's not often she's in here - she usually comes to Training Day to practice her archery, but today she has something different in mind, even if she looks a little uncertain about how to proceed. And she might also get distracted from it if she spots a familiar face nearby and chooses to approach them, instead. Besides, she can't do much here until her shinki joins her.
Although once he does... Nanako can be found off to the side of the dojo, an unusual scarf around her neck as she works with Suou to try and figure out how to become a master.... scarf wielder? Hush, that's totally gonna be a thing. ]

[ Once her training session with Suou is finished, Nanako can be found out by the refreshment tables, gripping a cup of fresh water and eyeing the tables of sweets as if she doesn't know where to start.
....Someone might want to intervene here. That's a lot of sugar right there. ]
Rest and Refreshment
If...we get two different boxes each, we can try four different sweets.
[ And that way it doesn't look so suspicious that they're eating a whole bunch of candy. ]

[In less than five minutes, it is obvious to anyone around him that this kid is bored. He shifts in his seat, looks around, sneaks a look at his phone (both of them). It’s not that this isn’t important, but...well, he has better things to do. As soon as the droning comes to an end, he’s up and duckign through the crowd towards the door.]
Excuse me...sorry...pardon…
[He ducks to the side and comes up hard into a shape he didn’t see. Landing on his rear end with a huff, he looks up sheepishly.]
Um. Sorry.
Physical Training
[Free from a classroom atmosphere, it takes him very little time to end up at the dojo, hovering around the out edge and watching others train with big eyes, especially those who are swinging swords.]
Awww...cool.
[He lasts almost a full ten minutes before he plants himself among the various
tools of destructiontraining weapons, walking through and examining swords, hammers, and a selection of firearms. He settles before a set of knives, reaching out to touch the handle of a well-balanced throwing blade almost reverently.]R&R
[It’s been a long day...or at least an eventful one. He wastes no time in cramming a couple of sweets into his mouth and then filling his hands with more. He then retreats into the shade to watch the children playing tag and hide-and-seek with a little bit of interest. He makes no move to join them, however.]
Physical Training
Good morning. -- Are those your weapon?
[Maybe he shouldn't be encouraging kids to play with knives.
On the other hand, it never hurts to learn how to do it effectively.]

[Kagaho has staked out a spot for himself as far away from everyone else as possible to practice borderlines. It doesn't seem to be going well and you can practically feel the frustration emanating off him in waves.]
LINE
[Whether you know much about borderlines or not, it's a pretty safe bet that they're not supposed to be on fire.
Actually, this is less of a borderline and more a line of flames scorching the dojo floor.]
Dammit!
[Things don't seem to be going well.]
Rest and Refreshments
[Kagaho has apparently never met an edgelord cliché he isn't willing to embrace wholeheartedly. Now he's seated himself on a tree limb near the edge of the lake. He has a plate of sweets he gathered from the refreshment table and now he's watching the children hunt for crayfish.
He's pretending like he's just up there to get away from everyone else and eat, but you can see his eyes track every movement of the little shinki.
He almost looks sad.]
Shinki Training
[Hakkai's tone is almost obnoxiously helpful.
It's not that failed borderlines are a problem, as such. On the other hand, failed borderlines on fire don't mix well with wooden floors.]

I'll be waiting for you outside the dojo, now! I know I'm late, my darling. Hope you didn't miss me too much. 💋
[ Once tapping the send button, Grell slips her phone into her back pocket, so that she may resume with getting herself ready. She takes the hair tie she's been holding between her teeth, so that she can pull up those long and luscious red locks into a high pony. Already, she's removed her coat in preparation.
Considering that she's accustomed to wearing multiple layers and fighting in heels, these are ultimately unnecessary steps to take - but this is a cute look for her, isn't it? Especially if she tops it off with a fresh layer of lip gloss!
Grell's shinki, Elicena, idly stands by. Seated by the goddess' coat on a nearby planter, she busies herself by browsing her phone; keeping to herself, and entirely unfazed by her goddess; antics. ]

Similar to Grell, he's chosen a more laid back attire, one that's substantially more suitable for fighting in. His own shinki trails along behind him, looking a bit bored with having to watch all the others when they could be sitting down somewhere while they wait. And when William gives him direction to follow along to the dojo, he looks even less thrilled. It's only a minute or two before the located their sparring partners. ]
I've been waiting quite some time.
