[It's real nice of that Keito kid to have made all of these worksheets for Japanese study, really. Hazel was surprised the other day, when Jae-Ha suddenly delivered them to him with his usual Jae-Ha flourishing, but he's kind of touched by it too... Hooter Kid isn't so bad.

The problem with having a magical spoken understanding of a language but only a very basic written understanding of it is this: he still can't read some of this. How does he do practice worksheets if he can't read them??

He decides he might as well call Keito, because why not call someone he's only ever spoken to on the internet. That's fine. Ring ring, nerd.]

[So, as a (false) god with a domain of great things like love and youth and poetic inspiration, the prayers Hazel gets custom-tailored to himself sure are... as interesting as one would expect. Since he's been thinking for a few days now about what he should actually do as a (totally fake) god, taking into account his misgivings about the whole thing but still wanting to help normal people— well, he's decided to check Aengus' shrine every so often to see what he can do.

For the people. The people who really, desperately need help with love and youth, at least... The prayers manifest as plaques and handwritten tags hung on the shrine, so that anyone walking by can see exactly what he's dealing with, generally speaking.

Is this worth it... he doesn't even get paid, technically... He gingerly picks one up by its corner, not actually daring to pull it off the shrine in case that means he has to commit to it or something.]

Just one...? Mercy, I don't know what I did to deserve this.

[please..... this is harassment] The poor souls sure are in need...

Alright, let's see these three minutes. [Good thing Hazel isn't banned from speaking for three minutes!!] I'll let ya know when they're up.

[razzledazzles]

[Fine, go ahead and start! Jae-Ha will stay comfortably and silently right here, playing with Hazel's hair with one hand, and plucking at the back of his shirt with the other. You know, just idly passing the time.]

[Finally, peace and quiet... He'd planned on saying a bunch of stupid nonsense while Jae-Ha is Banned, but now he finds he's content to sit here quietly with him instead. What an exhausting day...

So after maybe a minute, and after he's slid his free hand down to rest at Jae-Ha's waist,] That's my shirt you're tryin' to run away with.

[What is he doing!!]

[He's being a menace before he can be menaced himself, of course. He's going to be silent for as long as he can! So, he smiles, stilling that hand for just a moment. Once the moment passes, he raps his fingers against Hazel's back, there, instead.]

[Hazel asked for this but also doesn't deserve it?? How dare Jae-Ha be this way. He reaches up with his other hand to tug on his ear... stop this nonsense...]

I'm addin' a minute.

[razzledazzles]

[Does he think the ear tugging will stop him? He just looks more amused. But alright, his hand pulls away from Hazel's back and presses a finger to his chest, instead. He's learned enough English to be able to draw out two simple letters. O K.

Bring it.]

[It takes Hazel a second, but when he realizes, he frowns. Really?? Really. That would be cute if he weren't banned.]

This is how ya repay me for my teachin'? Attitude?

[razzledazzles]

[To that, he just gives a wide smile and points at himself innocently. Attitude? Who, me?]

[He's not cute at all. Hazel is being tested.]

Maybe I should go back upstairs, where I'm not bein' hassled...

[He can't allow that!! So, he stops pointing at himself and poking at Hazel and just hooks that arm around his waist again, instead. He tugs him nice and close in this sideways position he's in.]

[The real goal, accomplished. Mostly. He's not above escaping upstairs, but that wouldn't be fun at all.

So he'll take the opportunity to settle in against Jae-Ha, sliding his hand up from his waist to rest on his chest. Hey.]

How persistent. I'm not takin' away the extra minute, all the same.

[razzledazzles]

[Hmm... That's a nice hand, and a nice Hazel overall. He glances down at him like he's considering this, and then back up to his face as he turns just enough to kiss the top of Hazel's head. See, he doesn't need to speak at all.]

[So shoujo... He likes that, and drums his fingers lightly on Jae-Ha's chest while he waits...

Okay,] I s'pose I'll let ya talk again.

[That wasn't even a single waiting minute, but shh.]

[razzledazzles]

[Oh boy, permission... But instead of speaking immediately, he just smiles a little in consideration and kisses his head lightly again. His fingers curl where they're resting around his waist, and he ducks his head a little after that just to try and look Hazel in the eye.

Hmm, really? Should he speak? He wonders.]

[churchbelle]

[So, no speaking? Now he's just banning himself. Hazel waits for some kind of stupid line about his struggle, so when he gets another cute kiss and Jae-Ha looking at him like that, he's surprised.]

Oh, now he's a stoic. I see. [But he's right there, so Hazel brings his hand up again to touch along his jaw while he leans in to kiss his cheek.]

[razzledazzles]

[Ah, that's cute. His smile turns into something more warm, and now he doesn't have the heart to stay silent. He tried.]

Oh, I've earned a reward for it. [A cheek kiss! How nice.] Can I get another, to make it even?

[Here he is, talking like an idiot again. Hazel wanted this.]

[A genuine fool... Hazel dug this hole himself.]

That one was for me. [obviously!! Kissing his other cheek would involve moving, so nah, but he presses another kiss to the same spot again.] There.

[For him... Hmm. Jae-Ha continues to smile at that second kiss as his hand begins playing with Hazel's hair again. He'd like to just sit here and enjoy this, like the last few days they have, but it's getting harder and harder to chase away the way he wonders about this. Consequences (still) aside, how casual was this, really...?

Because he's getting a little too attached for it to be anything casual at all. That's a deep thought Hazel doesn't need to deal with, right now, he thinks, and so he just turns his face a little to catch Hazel's lips in a slow kiss instead.]

[What are consequences?? Hazel hasn't been thinking about anything like that, on top of everything else. They're both enjoying themselves, and Jae-Ha makes him happy, and maybe he's paused to consider how in over his head he is, with these feelings... but consequences??

Consequences happen to other people. Hazel likes this, instead, smoothing his hand down to the side of Jae-Ha's neck as he relaxes into the kiss. This is fine... who talks about feelings? Also other people.]

[As much as he can fall so easily into just enjoying himself, there's still a part of him that wants to hear some sort of confirmation that this is real, that this is just them, that this won't just vanish. But it's a childish want, in this sort of situation, and he's not going to push it when they're doing just fine like this. Hazel's hand on the side of his neck makes him shiver, and he deepens the kiss a little further.

His fingers slide up more into Hazel's hair, curling there. Like this, everything feels fine. At least for the moment, he can set aside his worries about his own past and learning of it, of the monsters they have to deal with and all of the risks, and instead just think about how soft Hazel's hands are, or how sweet his kisses are.]

[It should just be a simple comfort, doing this, but Hazel can recognize already that it's something more than that. Even though it takes him throwing a fit or getting otherwise upset somehow to realize it more fully, it's consistently Jae-Ha making him feel better.

Sure, he doesn't have... other friends... but it's more than that!! They've connected in so many ways since they met, it only makes sense that Jae-Ha is this important to him already. All of the physical affection helps, like right now, when he just wants to be close to this very important person and forget the rest.

Speaking of being close... He pulls back from the kiss when he needs a breath, fingers curling against his neck. When he speaks it's quietly, just for Jae-Ha, even if no one else is here anyway-] I think... y'should come here.

[Where is here... Here is right here, on the couch, moving with Hazel as he starts to lean back. Sitting here is nice but it's not close enough, sooo come here and get comfortable.]

[Those words could pull him in alone. They're a different sort of soft, one that gets him to look with quiet surprise as Hazel begins to lean back. He should— come here? Oh.

His heart skips more than a beat and that stupid, surprised expression fades slowly as he begins to shift with Hazel. He has to make sure their legs don't get tangled up or anything as he leans after him, immediately kissing him. Kissing this close is going to kill him again. He really thinks it will, but there's no way he can pass this up.

He's drawn to Hazel, one of his hands resting at his shoulder as the other presses against the couch so he doesn't just fall on top of him here. Comfortable, yes, comfortable. He's going to get way too comfortable.]

[That surprised expression is almost dopey enough to make him laugh, but Jae-Ha moves with him quickly enough that all he does is smirk before their lips meet again. Good, he's paying attention...

Hazel's arms slide up around his shoulders again, fingers locking together at the back of his neck. Kissing like this is a new thrill, still sweet like it has been, but more serious than before. He is very serious, though he's showing it like this rather than talking about it. Feelings are complicated, and even if his desire for Jae-Ha is part of that, it's the simplest part - the part he knows how to deal with.

So, kissing on the couch like this. Jae-Ha holding himself up is just holding back, and that's okay... but Hazel tugs insistently at him anyway between this kiss and the next. Comfortable, Jae-Ha!!]

[This is much more thrilling than before. The same kiss turns into something a lot more bold and adventurous, and to be honest, having Hazel tugging on him persistently in such a demanding way is unfairly arousing. He's still hesitant to push forward for that, kissing him and curling fingers into the couch before the more insistent tugs begin.

Still not close enough? He doesn't think so either, so it's right away that he moves with the pulling. Carefully, he settles himself completely on top of Hazel, his other hand now free to cup Hazel's face as he kisses him deeper.

Comfortable... Well, he's definitely comfortable, even as he heats up that kiss a little. Being this close to Hazel is absolutely intoxicating. He needs another moment to make sure he's still thinking straight, but then— that hardly matters right now.]

[That's much better. Hazel wraps his arms tighter around Jae-Ha when he finally gets as close as he can, almost possessively - he can't go changing his mind now, that would ruin the mood. The kiss is intense enough, and with the added thrill of Jae-Ha's weight on top of him, Hazel is completely lost in the moment as he kisses back.

This is close enough, for now... He's free to think about the way Jae-Ha tastes, and how his body feels like it's going to catch fire in every place they're touching and then some, and - and this is when his face heats up - Jae-Ha making jokes about helping him undress, earlier. He probably shouldn't think about that last one now, or he'll get really ahead of himself.

Since this is taking it slow, and all. Just some innocent kissing, with feelings, and Hazel shifting just enough to bend one leg at the knee and press it against Jae-Ha's hip. Slow.]
